Next time on Supernatural:

15.21: Dean wakes up to find Cas in the shower. The last season-ish was just a fever dream.

15.22: Almost completely censored due to X-rated Dean/Cas content. Only a scene of Sam reading the phone book with sex noises in the background makes it in.

16.01: Dean, Cas, Sam, and Eileen go on a double date. Jody and co. fight the Loch Nest Monster.

16.02: Sam and Dean give Jack 'the talk'. Cas and Eileen gossip in sign language. Also, Godzilla is real.

16.03: Jody and Donna negotiate with Bigfoot, who wasn't a monster, just misunderstood. Cas accidently mixes white laundry with a color shirt.

16.04: A witch curse turns Sam bald. Dean almost dies of laughter, but Cas saves him. Claire and Kaia go steady.

16.05: Godzilla attacks Kansas. Cas sings to him with his angelic voice, saving the day. Garth hosts werewolf square dancing.

16.06: Dean picks out rings, but one is cursed, turning Cas into the Hamburgler again. Rowena makes a housecall and tries to talk Sam and Eileen into a threesome.

16.07: Jack becomes BFFs with Mothra. Charlie invites everyone to a ren faire. Dean, Sam, and Cas go in star trek costumes.

16.08: Bobby single handedly fights off Chuthulu while Team Free Will is at the beach.

16.09: Gabriel hosts an orgy to fix all of heavens problems by making lots of half-angel babies. This somehow works.

16.10: Dean and Cas get gay married. Somehow Crowley crashes the wedding. After its over they realize they forgot to invite Adam.

NEXT TIME ON SUPERNATURAL

Nothing is as it seems. Chuck (Rob Benedict) has gotten his hands on the Angel tablet and powered up a typewriter Metratron-style. Join Dean (Jensen Ackles), Sam (Jared Padalecki), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Jack (Alexander Calvert) as they take back control of their story and rewrite their own endings. 

Tune in next week for this special 3 hour epilogue event where Team Free Will 2.0 create the endings they want, the endings they deserve, with help from the family they've found along the way.

SPN ending makeover, 15x21, 1st Installment.

Eileen and Alt. Bobby saving the Loosechesters from the fever dream that was 15x20. (If they could be taken down by vampires, why not jinn?)

It was a trap, set by that jinn queen Cas was formally married to, who specifically targeted the boys in search for her husband (somehow knowing of their strong connection) - to annul their marriage and form a new alliance. Eileen and Bobby went looking for Sam and Dean when they suddenly disappeared, slaughtered their way in and helped the brothers wake up. Upon finding out that Castiel is no more, the Queen let go and returned home with whatever remained of her people.

And Cas is still stuck in the Empty.

I hope that Vladimir Putin and the target audience of the Walker Texas Ranger reboot are very happy with their boring, generic finale.

He just wants to look at Sam. He always looked up to Sam. He thinks that Sam is stronger than him. He didn’t know what he would’ve done if he didn’t have Sam.

“It’s always been you and me.” / “Don’t leave me. I can’t do this alone.” / “Yes you can.” / “Well I don’t want to.”

Dean will always be with Sam.

“I love you so much. My baby brother.”

“I need you to promise me that it’s okay.” / “Dean— it’s okay. You can go now.”

Their hands. Their foreheads.

“Goodbye, Sam.” / “Goodbye.”

Dean’s last breath followed right by Sam’s audible, gasping breath.

I know that there are like 20+ storylines that the Supernatural writers decided to just not finish but I am forever mad that they decided to have Jack not only rescue Cas from the empty but also presumably heal him and we never got to see Cas's reaction to getting his wings back.

maybe we're all just overreacting. after all, cas is canonically gay and dean got canonically nailed from behind.

I'm more happy with the ending and..I'm just sad it ended :(

With Chuck defeated, everything returned to normal. All the people he erased, all the friends were brought back, including Eileen. 

She and Sam have an emotional reunion, and Dean is very happy for his brother who got his lover back. It’s wonderful that they have each other again, can hug and kiss and touch, and they can talk, and are able to say whatever had been left unsaid between them before...

Not at all sad that he’s not getting anything like that with his respective love interest. Nope, It’s just good to finally be free!
