Baby Neopets Masterlist

I wanted baby versions of my painted Neopets, so I decided I'd make them myself. Then I figured I'd make other versions, too, and share them here. These aren't perfect, and certainly not official, but feel free to use them anywhere as long as you credit me! Also, if you send me a link that'd be cool because I'd want to see <3

There's no rhyme or reason to my postings, but let me know if you'd like a specific color/pet and I can try!

these are probably gunna be it for neopets characters for a bit, finally got it out of my system. the top one is half based off of my kougra koogarl, i just changed him from biscuit to split since it looks cooler. as well as my peophin ghana.

The thing about painting Neopets is that even if other colours are better I get attached to them as they are. Like yeah maybe a split Usul isn't that impressive but that's just what she IS. And transforming them is even wilder because like. Yeah I could use my morphing potion but she's not a Hissi. It feels weird lmao.

Anyway I have a snow Flotsam but I also have a silver paint brush and they look sooo good silver. Thinking abput getting an Eyrie to take to the magma pool. Thinking about adopting something with a good name to turn into an ice Hissi. I think want an orange paint brush for my Lutari and I think I still want a candy Kougra.

Actually I have a speckled Kougra too but its name isn't really great

Her godtier form looks like a neopets faerie so here she is meeting some of the more cat-like pets and petpets. A rainbow wocky, split kougra, glowing kadoatie, meowclops, blue gathow, invisible anglepus, pink gruslen, mauket, liobits, and disco schnelly.

we had a baby lupe plush that was teeny tiny it was like mcdonalds plush size when we were little that we got from limited too and it got chewed up by our dog but like my point is yeah that's the peak neopet and they didn't even ever make a bigger plush of it like what's wrong with them

i have a bigger shadow kougra and brown uni and then i have mcdonalds speckled gelert(? it's green and white) and split wocky

the mcdonalds plushes are what got me into neopets!! i had so many! and i used to have SOOOO many from limited too, but i sold a lot of them as a teen to pay for Cool Clothes and stuff you know?

I still have my original Green Moehog though :)

That's so sad about the Lupe toy!! And yeah I was looking for a baby blum a couple years ago ( Didnt buy when they wer 10$ OOPS ) and was surprised there were only teeny ones. I would have LOVED a giant baby koug plush as a kid.

Daily Dare: Dungeon Dash

 AAA’s score of 3000 is achievable using either character in-game, but it’s probably actually easier to use AAA. AAA scores 1000 points per level, and Abigail scores 800 points per level. That is, you only need to beat level three using AAA for this year’s Daily Dare. Level four is when the difficulty really begins to ramp up, which is why I do recommend picking AAA at the start screen.

Jellyneo does a pretty good job of describing which tools to use each level, but to recap:

Press ‘X’ to tunnel through snow blocks.

Press ‘C’ to pass through mud puddles quickly. Press ‘V’ to jump over tree stumps. (If you are playing as AAA, you either need to jump twice or press ‘V’ once for tall hills.)

Press ‘X’ to destroy blocks. Press ‘V’ to jump over tall stacks of three blocks. Press ‘B’ to protect yourself from falling blocks. If the helmet (B) is directly behind a tall stack, shovel (X) instead of jumping (V), otherwise you will not be able to collect it.

Press ‘C’ to pass through ice cream vats. Press ‘V’ to jump high. Press ‘B’ to protect your upper body from flying ice cream. Press ‘N’ to protect your lower body. You might want to split the keys between your left/right hands. You cannot protect yourself while bubble (C) or springs (V) are active.

Press ‘X’ to destroy crates. Press ‘C’ to pass through sharp debris and bounce off holes. Press ‘V’ to jump high. Press ‘B’ when encountering Kougras. Press ‘N’ when encountering Skeiths. I can’t pass this level, but that’s fine since you don’t need to for AAA’s score this Daily Dare.

If you can beat the game, congrats, that might net you a trophy if you’re lucky enough. (You’ll be added to the bottom; goal is to be between 1-17th place when trophies are awarded around 8:20pm NST.)

Bear with me and my incoherent thoughts. I know barely anything about genetics, so if it sounds like I’m pulling ideas out of my ass it’s because I am. I’m sure there’s stuff in here that could have dominant and recessive genes, but I learned that way back in high school biology, so I don’t remember how that stuff works and am too lazy to research it lol.

OKAY HERE WE GO, SO starting off with species. Species are generally passed down from the parents. There’s a less than 15-25% chance the child will be the same species as one of their grandparents.

The passing down of colors gets trickier. I’ll start off with my own neopets as an example.

Xon’ae and Edel produced two aishas. Valldora is the same color and species as her father. Simple. Kasslanna on the other hand is snot, which is a similar gene to custard. (I always thought they looked about the same consistency) Xon’ae’s skin is green, so combining the two to make snot made sense. Kaebob is a mutant aisha, so her father is likely a mutant too.

Basic colors are easier to blend together. (ie. red+white=pink and so on) A basic color parent can have a child with a different basic color. Basic colors include white, grey, shadow, brown, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Colors that are borderline basic are pastel, rainbow, skunk, speckled, and split.

Here are some examples of combos and potential offspring:

Split+Red=Orange, Purple, Red, or Split.

Glowing+Yellow=Yellow, Green, or Glowing.

Starry+White=Starry, White, Blue, or Yellow.

Striped+Shadow= Striped, Shadow, Pink, Blue, Skunk.

A rainbow pet has the possibility of their offspring being one of most of the basic colors, depending on what basic color is similar to parent B’s.

Of course there’s some colors that don’t have the same general color scheme and are different for each species. (ex. sponge, jelly, pastel, camo, faerie, disco, candy, dimensional) So a faerie meerca parent could have a skunk child, while a faerie kougra parent couldn’t. (unless the other parent is skunk ofc)

Certain colors do have relatives. Candy, chocolate, and biscuit are related. Zombie, transparent, and ghost are related. Speckled, spotted, and polkadot are related. You could argue that relic, maractite, magma, and clay are all related too.

A neopet can change their color or species through means of a morphing potion, paint brush, rainbow pool, labray, etc. These alter their genetic makeup, but doesn’t completely erase what they were originally.

Say if a blue krawk used a red pteri morphing potion; their kids would have a better chance of being born a pteri, but do still have the possibility of being a krawk.

Again, these are just my headcanons and the general rules I go by when deciding my neopet’s genetics. Feel free to use or tweak to your own desire for your own neos!

Oh I forgot to say I got a Split Usul from the pound today and she has a great name! I know split isn’t like super valuable and honestly I don’t really care for Usuls but I kind of love her already. Maybe when I have money to throw around I’ll transform her or something but to be completely honest having any painted pets at all would have been beyond cool to me at 8 years old so I’m just enjoying it for now

I know Neopets allows side accounts so I’ll have to look up the specific rules because I’ve decided I also want a cool Pteri. I’ve always thought they were really cute. I was thinking that maybe as a goal I’ll try to get a candy Kougra. A lot of candy ones don’t look great but the striping looks great on the Kougra. I was also thinking maybe a spotted one.
