I just realized I lost $49 playing some random Bingo game... Dammit! I'm a suck we r for Bingo! I thought I was playing with gems, not cash!!! And then when I went all Karen on the customer support to get my money back, they offered me $35 back. It's better than nothing, I suppose... we'll see in 5 days if it shows back up. I'm still waiting for three months' worth of $21.98 on a Hulu overcharge. It sucks being broke! Good thing my dad's springing for that mid to high range printer! Don't know what I'd do without him. He's my hero. A cross between Deadpool and Captain America. It's a cool story if anyone wants to hear it... he survived the 1967 attack on the USS Liberty!

One of these days I will eventually tackle the massive project that is bringing Mating Season over onto AO3, and at that time I'll slap this bad boy into the appropriate chapter. I love it!

“You want me to win you one of those?” Inuyasha asked Kagome in a soft, caring tone, attempting to separate himself from the annoying conversation he was having with her friend. The game didn’t look too hard. All he had to do was knock down an entire stack of bottles with a single ball, and hell, that human had already done it…though after several tries.

“Just don’t break them.” Kagome whispered with a wink, as Inuyasha handed the man a ticket, and got a softball in exchange.

“Keh” he mumbled, before throwing the ball, knocking down the correct bottle that would, in turn, cause all the others to go toppling. Instead of the teddy bear, Kagome decide upon a large plush dog, since it was a Husky, and had Inuyasha’s ears.

As soon as she had it in her arms, she tweaked the plush’s ear in such a way, that it made Inuyasha blush. Fortunately, nobody else seemed to notice.

Begrudgingly, unhappily, Inuyasha sighs his next admission. “Not great.” Inuyasha has a life plan that is viciously, cheerfully and quickly dismantled the moment he becomes temporary roommates with one Kagome Higurashi. Unsurprisingly, this is all Miroku's fault.

Glancing around the well lit hut, he determined they were safe for the evening, his posture relaxing slightly at the thought, though he would remain on guard while they slept through the night.

An important part of at least 14-year-old Amarya Mohila's life and relationship with being a hero...

Her brother (technically several times distant cousin), Aimory Aoki. Here's him at 21, literally beefing for months with a teenager smaller than him.

The literal only differences between him at 17 and him at 21 is that he got snakebites and Amarya gave him that scar on his cheek when they first met.

You would think the relationship between 17-year-old Aimory and ten-year-old Amarya would be better, but he tries to kidnap her for their dad and tells her to stop calling him childish names, only for her to look him in the eye and call him a shithead. He's not sure whether to laugh or be mad.

Kagome has everything she needs in life, but in reality, she wishes for adventures and excitement, much like the characters in her books. In steps the captain of her college’s hockey team, a rude, unruly, and cocky hanyou named Inuyasha Taisho, and suddenly, her whole world is turned upside down.

Sorry if this has already been asked during your AMA, but I was wondering, when you're figuring out you're, do you have a favorite trope, or genre etc, that you prefer to write? What inspires you?

Hi @sailorbabydoll92!

No need for apologies! I don't know that I often approach the beginning of developing a story with a specific trope in mind. Sometimes one will fit (One bed! Snowed in!) but most of the time there is a specific scene that comes to mind and then I have to... build a story around it. It's often a slow process. Thus why I don't post on a regular basis.

I've been drawn to write more sci-fi and space stuff lately. As @splendentgoddess and I were discussing the other day, for as many fanfics as there are out there for Inuyasha, the percentage of them that are scifi/space settings is fairly small. I have a couple that are already out there (No Defense, Caged Bird, and The Rift Between) and several more in The Vault. So it's just a matter of buckling down and focusing on them!
