Crashing in from out of nowhere, rising idol group LVCKOUT makes a scene!

These four friends are unpredictable chaos. Their songs ranging from exhilarating-to-chill breakcore beats can be heard from deep within Outluck Base, a giant venue where Splatfest concerts are held!

All of their songs are entirely digital, consisting of glitches and audio samples from their favorite games and shows.

deepsean rave idols / idols of the deep

djs for a city in the deep sea, working the anchors of sports, ink or not, in the area. repping the uneasy and luminescent deep sea, CRUSH DEPTH preforms in the heart of the city, a repurposed panopticon just like many other things of the deep. its original use and intent are far beyond the fish looking for a fun time, not a long one.

their real names unknown, artists H80S, an anglerfish who’s name plays on the hadal zone, and ABY-55, a viperfish who takes inspiration from the abyssal depths, form the Funk-House-EDM-Whatever-Techno-You-Can-Scrounge-Together duo known as CRUSH DEPTH, recently surging in popularity for their uncanny abilities to host festival and otherwise party, a strobe light in the deepsean darkness.

not much is known about the history, past, or upbringing of CRUSH DEPTH. to many, they just appeared one day and took the charts by storm.

Sorry for disappearing for a little bit, I took a bit of a break from drawing due to being busy at work, and then I got ill 😔. I also just forgot to post these when I first finished them oops.

Anyways, finally finished redesigning my splatoon idol OCs! Really happy with how they turned out.

(May be my last post of 2024 but maybe I'll make a little recap thing tomorrow, I just wanted to get this out)

Total Inklipse

Local space nerd makes Splatoon fan idols/splatband themed after space

Meet Sol and Lune of Total Inklipse! They're a pair of Inktolings who currently have no real backstory because, like everyone other OC when I initially make them, I did not plan that far ahead 💀 but here's what I have so far:

Sol (he/they) is extroverted, friendly, and often gets himself into trouble. Lune (she/they) is a bit introverted, also friendly, and is usually the one getting Sol out of trouble. They're roommates who share an apartment in Inkopolis. They're both just starting out in the music industry so most of the world has never heard of them. In fact, the few songs they have self-produced have flopped miserably lol

I'm still undecided if they fit better as idols or a splatband (or some kind of combo of both?) but they're here to rock your tentacles off! ...Once they learn how to better market their music.

Some sketches of concert Scourge pre-LVCKOUT era, with lore:

Before meeting Seven and creating LVCKOUT, Scourge was pretty much neck-deep into his music career after moving to the surface from the Deep Sea, holding solo underground concerts and hosting private dance clubs. His music can be best described as "gritty and aggressive"!

Because of a once-forgotten sunken scroll the New Squidbeak Splatoon discovered that prophesized of a "red-crowned king from the depths that will bring about doomsday and a catastrophic storm of the ages", many partygoers believed that going to his concerts would be their last. So there was always this sense of thrill and trepidation when going to his concerts & clubs, wondering when these so-called "doomsday storms" will brew (of course, these never actually happen, and the Oarfish is clueless about the stories- he's just happy ppl are actually coming to his concerts)

Their story is the same (except for who plays what instrument), but I wanted to updated their designs to more accurately reflect my new vision for these characters. (original designs)
