HAPPY NEW YEAR CHAT !!!

I only started posting on Tumblr this year and it's been a blast, I wanted to thank you all so much for the support and for liking my silly drawings :3

Anyways art summary for this year yippee!! It's not done by month cus there were a few months this year where I just didn't draw anything. But anyway this year has been amazing all around and I'm really happy with my progress as an artist, especially in the past few months.

All of my new years resolutions involve art. I want draw pokemon more often, I want to make updated references for all of my OCs, I want to get better at perspective, facial expressions, posing and rendering, and I want to finally open commissions! So yeah thank you all for sticking with me, and I hope you all have a happy new year!!!

Sorry for disappearing for a little bit, I took a bit of a break from drawing due to being busy at work, and then I got ill 😔. I also just forgot to post these when I first finished them oops.

Anyways, finally finished redesigning my splatoon idol OCs! Really happy with how they turned out.

Quick little height chart of the nextgen kids based on that official height chart for the original game. It's probably not that accurate, but I just wanted a way you could see them all together.

(Also ik I said in his reference that Arnie was the tallest kid, but I might retcon it? He is basically the same height as Casey anyway. Plus kinda like the idea of Pablo and Billy-Jean's kids being the shortest and tallest of their group, respectively, just like their parents.)

Some quick little character designs for some more OCs I came up with for the NextGenAU! Thought it would be fun to introduce some new characters that couple up with some canon characters so yeah.

Their lore isn't extensive currently but they all met their partners as adults. Also the name in brackets is their birth name, but 3/4 of them took their partner's surnames when they got married. (you can't see their rings cus I accidentally didn't draw their hands in a way that they would be visible, but trust me, they're there)

Seeing them grouped together is so funny cus it's really just 3 pretty women/enby + 1 boring white guy (affectionate). But my goal with Matt was to make him just some guy. And I love that for him.

The young Sheldon reference was completely unintentional and I laughed my ass off when I made the connection

Realised now I forgot to colour the lineart of his mouth but I don't care enough to fix it now
