Neo 3: I’m a scrap collector and seller, all I’ve ever known really

Captain: I don’t play anymore…but I enjoyed any of the shooters. Though give me a splattershot with a autobomb and its over for the other team

Hello. I'm because I found your Splatoon x Sam and Max crossover. Regarding that, what weapons do you think they'd main or like the most?

So this took be a while to answer because it made me think about other aspects of mammals and ink and so on

ANYWAY! What I like to think is that they appreciate the more explosive and destructive weapons/specials when playing turf war legally!

I think Sam would lean towards blasters, rollers and buckets. The ones feel like he would use the most in each class would be the custom range blaster, Golden Dynamo, and Slosher (I like the idea of him dumping buckets of paint on inkfish)

Max would be the fast annoying type so duelies, splatana, and brush (I like the idea of him whacking stuff until they are dead sedated). The main ones being Enperry Splat Duelies, splatana wiper, and inkbrush. (Would run a special up fit that makes him have the special within 2 seconds of the round starting and spam his stamper)

Now when they’re out and about doing whatever they do, I like to think they carry custom weapons that used parts from their old guns which were all fixed and modded by Sheldon as a favor, but he was more than willing to do it because he loves looking at old weapons from before the great floods that wiped out humanity especially ones that are in amazing condition (personal hc)

(The weapons were slightly to mostly traced just so that you can see what what modified and what wasnt)

Sam has a modded N-zap that is bigger and longer than a regular one. It also has a barrel that came from his old gun big kill.

Max has a modded Duelie Squelchers that are jet black and has a contraband special attached to it (this one was originally an illegal weapon that they confiscated, but since Sheldon saw Max take a liking to the weapon, he added it when fixing his gun)

This means that they are banned from using these weapons from legal turf wars (which they have tried).

Despite having their own weapons they tend to keep like 50% of the illegal weapons they find (x) The other 50% is returned for money. The weapons they find are whatever broken thing you can think of. Undercover Bella that never brakes, dynamo that covers the whole map in one swing, Grizzco weapons that were taken by former employees, etc.

I don't know if you play Splatoon or not, but to me, Sweetheart and Bitterbat would use the Splat Duelies (or any of the shooters, tbh) and the Inkbrush respectively.

I used to play the first and second game ages ago so I can def see those two with those weapons.

As well as Bitterbat constantly trailing Sweetheart regardless of if they are on the same team or not and how he'll keep making happy little squid (or octopus) noises around her

IM REWORKING THIS

So on the bird app, I decided to give every character in Honkai Star Rail a Splatoon 3 weapon based on their personality and a bit of their playstyle in HSR, and the result was a long ass thread that Im gonna just copy here for the people of Tumblr to enjoy.

These are all my own opinion based on my.. several hundred hours of Splatoon experience + character playstyle and personality (as stated above) and I disregarded the weapons state in the meta mostly and went with casual Turf War! Enjoy the merging of my two brainrots.

Astral Express Crew

Trailblazers would play Dark Tetra/Light Tetras Duelies! Specifically, I think Stelle would play Light Tetras and Caelus would play Dark Tetras!

Now you might be thinking March 7th plays TriStringer, but that doesnt seem right to me? I think she would play a Brella, and get really freakin good at it to! Personally Im leaning towards her using the regular Splat Brella !

Dan Heng is kinda difficult for me to pinpoint, but honestly I see him playing N-Zap '85? He seems like someone who just enjoys painting the map and giving March and the trailblazers a TON of Tacticoolers so they can constantly throw themselves into the Turf War.

Himeko would play a Charger. But not just any charger, she plays the Z+F Splatterscope WITH the scope. She just feels like someone who would be a menace with aiming.

Mr Welt Yang is another hard one for me to pinpoint, but he feels like a Splatling person? I know people are gonna say he would be a Splattershot JR cause hes old, but hear me out- He would go INSANE with the Zink Mini Splatling.

PomPom plays Splattershot Nova. Im sorry Im just right.

Herta Space Station / Genius Society

Herta herself definitely plays E-Liter 4K. Not the scope version, the basic version. It fits her too well Im sorry-

Asta feels like a Slosher player not gonna lie- Im feelin like a Sloshing Machine Deco? Trizooka and Point Sensor both suit her to so Im going with that.

Arlan definitely plays Splat Duelies or Splatana Stamper, I cant quite settle on which one? Im leaning towards Splat Duelies right now though-

Belobog

Bronya definitely also plays a Charger, but she plays the Snipewriter 5H! Cmon, its got Tacticooler, and its a cool weapon IMO. Just suits her personality cause you have to be super strategic with playing it!

Gepard is another difficult one- But ultimately Im landing on the Sorella Tenta Brella. Big shield, super protective and stally playstyle with Trizooka and Ink Mine- It just works!

Serval on the other hand DEFINITELY plays Splatana Wiper. And shes frickin GOOD at it.

Sampo plays a duelie I think, and honestly I see him playing the Glooga Duelies! Maybe its cause their blue and he also duelwields his blade dagger things but you get the point.

Natasha uses Heavy Edit Splatling. Do I even have to explain this one? Tacticooler and its a Splatling. It just makes sense.

Im sorry but Hook absolutely uses Flingza Roller. She would LOVE the Roller class and think Tenta Missles are hilarious.

Clara! Sweet Clara, she uses the Custom Splattershot Jr, and mostly just likes to paint up turf for her team!

Seele feels like another Splatana enjoyer. Spatana Stamper feels right, but I can be easily swayed if I find something else that suits her.

Lynx, Lynx, Lynx. Dapple Duelies. Fast, mobile, has Tacticooler and Beakons, and when she Turfs with Gepard and Serval their a menace on the field together.

Pela uses Custom Jet Squelcher! She seems like someone who would enjoy the far range and annoying people with Toxic Mist and Ink Storm. A menace on Undertow Spillway, probably.

Luka also probably uses a Duelie? He feels like a Duelie Squelcher person! (hey, thats my weapon of choice!) Its long distance but still gets into skirmishes and fights pretty often!

Xianzhou Luofu

Jing Yuan is honestly pretty easy- Cmon, he plays Splattershot Jr, the starting weapon. He picked it up and just never changed off it, and honestly its a really good choice so it works out nicely.

Sushang- Cmon, you know she plays Splatana Stamper. Zipcaster? Burst Bomb? She goes insane with it.

Tingyun is probably the hardest of the Luofu to place- But ultimately I think Im gonna go to Rapid Blaster Pro. I cant really explain why? It just fits IMO

Luocha feels like another NZap user, specifically the '89 one, but I can also see an argument for Nautilus 47.

Yukong plays the Inkline Tristringer! Our first bow character with a bow! Its a far back, support like weapon that honestly feels like the best pick for her!

Bailu definitely plays a support weapon but she constantly throws herself into the Turf War over and over. So Im saying she likes to use the Big Swig Express!

Yanqing plays the Splatana Wiper Deco! Beakon, Tenta Missles, and its a sword-like weapon. It just fits him.

Qingque feels like someone who would play Bloblobber. Its a gamble on a splat, and its a fairly good painting weapon as well!

Fu Xuan is another kinda interesting one to place, but Im gonna go with the .96 Gal Deco. Its got Ink Wall and Kraken Royale which both just go super hard and are strategic in their nature!

Stellaron Hunters

Silver Wolf ADHERES to the Competetive meta. She played Splash-o-matic AND Ballpoint, but probably prefers Splash-o-matic.

Kafka... the idea of her using Undercover Brella is funny, but I think ultimately she uses Painbrush. I also cant really explain this one but it makes sense to me.

Blade uses a feeder weapon without a DOUBT. He likely uses the feeder weapon, Dark Tetra Duelies, but also dabbles in other ones like Carbon Roller Deco.

Splatoon 3 Drizzle Season Weapon Usage!

While I had core weapons and phases, I started my goal of getting 1 star on every weapon. For phases, I started off using the Tri-Stringer a lot, then picking up the Aerospray again from my good old Sapltoon 1 days. I used Flingza for Splat Zones and E-Liter for Clam Blitz and a little bit of Rainmaker. i love my Ink Mines.

Weapon breakdown:

At the end of the season I started falling in love with the Heavy and Hydra Splatlings, which I hadn't used much outside of Salmon Run before.

I want to see if I can remember to keep records of this after each season to see how my weapon usage changes. It changed a lot during and between Splatoon 1 and 2, and continues to do so in 3. Maybe one day I will understand Blasters. With 3, I understand Duelies and the Heavy and Hydra Splatlings much better now!

so listen theres no real BIG plot here, again its still very slice-of-life, very "mostly here for the interactions and happy life stuff", so think of it a bit like a sports anime or smth!

Full Spectrum (FS) is Ozpin's League Team, with James, Glynda, and Leo as his teammates.

Stark Damage (SD) is Summer's League Team and is made of herself, Tai, Qrow, and Raven

Stark Damage are very new to the Anarchy Battle scene. this is Summer's first official team and shes unfortunately paired with two ex-teen soldiers (Octarian military stuff if you know you know) and Tai :) who is VERY new to all this Turf War stuff. hes just here to be stupid and cute and we respect it but its not very helpful on the field

Ozpin and Summer have a bit of a rivalry goin, tho its mostly one-sided in Summer taking a bit too seriously while Ozpin just thinks its very friendly and casual. just a bit of bickering between leaders :)

Ozpin comes from a LONG line of League Battlers, starting with great great grandpa Ozma and participating in the first official Turf War over who'd get the land all those years ago, so hes got a bit of an expectation to live up to. hes the highest rank on his team and gets very into his role during battle, be it Turf or Ranked. he takes it a lil seriously when hes got his scope ;>.>

Meanwhile, Qrow and Raven were members of the Octarian Army before hearing that ✨ heavenly melody ✨so all this normal living and "fun" battling is still very new to them. they both sorta make up for Tai's terrible kill rate, but Raven's usually playing hunter while Qrow's picking off whatever she leaves behind

however it does explain why Qrow knows how to repair so many weapons, so he and Summer get along well after learning the shared interest in weaponry :) (this doesnt get him out of a scolding for repairing Ozpin's e-liter for free tho)

and because it got really long imma put weapons and kits under the cut :D

I'm kinda curious now, what weapons do the rest of your agents use?

tilly is fond of shooters. uses the classic splattershot and all of its variants. switches between that and sloshers, specifically the tri-slosher. tilly also likes splatlings! not fun when you’re playing against them though :(

adrian used to main duelies but his the constant barrel-rolling technique he’d created eventually started hurting his back as he grew older, so he instead uses a splatroller. he mains the krak-on splat roller and terrorizes people with his kraken

he also uses a donimo roller. make of that what you will

marlon is fit for support. she mains the e-liter 4k scope. she rarely, rarely, brings out her big ass hydra splatling and it’s really bad when she does. it’s usually a stress reliever

i used to main reflux for a month, but i don't rlly 'main' weapons that much but if i HAD to choose i'd say eliter, splat duelies, and aerospray rg

on splat 2 (when i actually play it) i main kensa octobrush, heavy splatling remix and octo shot replica, im working on beating all story mode stages with hero dualies so i can get those and main em

Not duelie squelchers, not the emperries

Just the normal duelies (I have no idea if it’s spelled with an E or an A, just bare with me here)

Splat Dualies!! Those we're my favorite in Splatoon 2 😭 (seriously like aside from the Splash-o-Matic that was one of the only weapons I played 👹)

I'd would say practicality wise they're all around; sure they don't get the four rolls like the Dark Tetras but they're still pretty awesome, and they don't consume ink too quickly from what I've dealt with. While I was kind of sad they switched the special from Tenta Missiles to Crab Tank I think it is a decent deal. I think too Nintendo realized "oh shit this won't go well" if they kept in Tents Missiles as its special 💀

I think they're pretty good for all modes too! Maybe has a slight handicap with Tower Control but that's about it, and you can easily counteract that with Crab Tank. They're hella good in all the modes though, just a slight handicap in Tower Control!

Can they be overpowered? With the right player, yes. But I think that's what makes them so fun and infuriating honestly 😭

Giving these a personal rating I think I would give it good marks! Handling, inking, practicality as a whole is pretty high. (theurgetosayathatswhatshesaidjokeconsumesme) These are the sort of perfectly balanced end of the dualies spectrum, especially given it's the sort of beginner pair of dualies. :)

Ink color: just barely transparent white, but if any other color it’s a really pale version of that color.

Gear: Eminence cuff, light bomber jacket, the ripped leggings, Pearl 01STERs.

Weapons: Enperry splat duelies, but he also has this dope ahh albino peacock fan tail thing that has his ink in it to distract his opponents. (It’s technically classified as a weapon so he can whack peeps with it if he wanted to)

Personality: Slight deadpan expression, prefers not to talk but will if comfortable. Confident in himself, is slightly allergic to cats (avoids lil and big Judd like the plague), has a big appetite but is a polite eater.

Likes: Super soft clothes or textures, likes sweet, savory, sour and spicy foods, quiet places or people.

Dislikes: rough clothes or textures, super slimy foods🤢, super loud spaces or people (doesn’t mind his team being loud, as long as they’re not too loud).

Height: 4’7 feet tall.

Rank: Just above an S+

(He does like to cook and occasionally bake for his team)
