Idk how to tell you this bestie, but I am perhaps the opposite of your target audience. I don't know what "spiritual terrorism" is but to be honest it sounds fun

The entire point.
God this entire time: “Y’all still don’t see these consistencies Marthashlyn is pointing out?! It is truly the end of days. Hold on! Get tf out of my places of business! And these two are MFEO because I’ve declared it so since they were born! Don’t tell me what to do. Stay in your place. ..And I’ve reimagined the prophecy in revelation. 😏”
Also God: “With these two together, I can get more work done. I need them together NOW!”
Also God: “I want a wedding for those two.”
Me: “I think they’ve gotten the message boss. 🫡👩🏾‍🔬👩🏾‍🎨”
Also me: “Do you all know how long our celestial spirit has been catching our attention speaking as loud as he has been for us high vibrational to instantly pay attention?”
Le monde is waiting for the bird class on the farm to get it together. The farm animals too. Y’all still human to me too. And the story is clear. Just eyes & leveling of oxygen & salt in the water. It’s greeky too. The lining is golden and the background is gray.
The real tea while the adults try to fix the spiritual issue that arose around 2016; I’ve entered gracefully of age around 2020.
See how I could point it out since then & many still do what they want to do? I’m waiting for God still. It’s interesting 🤔
Many suddenly wanted to attack me & I’m only a new entrepreneur focused on my spiritual growth.
A mass majority of people are never present as a whole. Mind, body, & spirit.
Witchcraft and perversion like crazy since our last senior pastor’s dismissal is evident everywhere every day.
Psycho mania as a result of being cursed by the lord for God knows what is also evident.
Many are lost in extreme self-comparison in feeling inadequate, overcompensating, burnt out.
Many are stuck in an extreme state of flight or fight.
Many are also sleep deprived from spiritual menaces & stress.
Private time for many are still interrupted by spiritual menaces who are actually terrorists for illogical reasons pertaining themselves never discussed too; many only pray & sing to keep rooted in their personal spiritual journeys.
The seven deadly sins are blindly linked. Many cannot stop. They’re blind in what they are doing & cursed.
An extremely perverted & corrupted reproved favorite is the real source of these issues with her boatload of parallel equals. Elderly & young adults alike. While all, also seeking to be loved by someone who wants nothing to do with them. As do many others. Lost in that. Their ears don’t work.
Others show evidence of extortion & exploitation, slaving and whoring one another, seeking to have that pass on the next generation
So, yeah the devil amongst plenty still..
I’m also a light worker providing insight as I grow on my journey.
Grey space simulator energy while I am not present in the room or stretching off to the side somewhere listening to music will not continue.
I only feel that energy. A serious grey spell with people stuck in a primitive psychopathic criminal state barely able to directly communicate was 2 to 3 sabbaths now. Lost in a traumatic way. They don’t even realize it.
I’ve walked the track at the park for 2 sabbaths in a row now. Spirit led. A third time, I’ve only stared at the building. I know nothing. Just energy change. After church, I only do my energy conversion.
Extreme reality falling apart & coming back together things. “Checkerboard” to me. A black whole may show up there.
I’ve already walked through a rip of white space there too a while ago. SOBER. Completely dry.
All of this, is added to God’s organic chemistry at work and chakra voodoo/Matilda tricks shared with the general public, among many other things
My reserved and I are waiting for a peaceful transition to be in completion, although, everything was finalized formerly in the lord.

St. Joseph, Terror of Demons, cast your solemn gaze upon the devil and all his minions, and protect us with your mighty staff.
You fled through the night to avoid the devil’s wicked designs;
now with the power of God, smite the demons as they flee from you!
Grant special protection, we pray, for children, fathers, families, and the dying.
By God’s grace, no demon dares approach while you are near, so we beg of you, always be near to us! Amen.

tumblr has me so irony poisoned that when I saw an ad on here that read "christianity: protect yourself from spiritual terrorism" I was disappointed that it was an ad and not a cool new meme a mutual was trying out

Uhhh am I the only one getting increasingly unhinged ads on here? Literally just got one for a (seemingly) very squishy (??) pair of earrings that magically causes weight loss and also gets rid of what appears to be goiters and/or hunchbacks??

just realized that ramadan is in like, a month. ramadan is supposed to be a month of joy for muslims, because its the holiest month (its believed that the devil is jailed away during this time, so its also a time to increase your good deeds) and you gather as a family and a community. thinking of the palestinian muslims in gaza who are barely surviving. the many muslims in the west bank who are terrorized EVERY ramadan, every year, are attacked during their prayers in the al-aqsa mosque, are targeted this month because the point of the idf is to never give palestinians joy. may we, at the absolute minimum, have a permanent ceasefire before the holy month starts.

On Anchorites
Just been snooping through scripts again (I saw a hot take that instinct told me was based on a misunderstanding/mishearing of a particular line. Not worth any great pedantry of course - I'm a live-and-let-live kind of gal after all - but I did feel compelled to check just for my own edification).
Anyway, I found that Gibson's line in Episode Three jumped out at me all of a sudden:
"We were within an ace of getting called out in front of all the men and whipped for it, or worse. You were right. If he weren't such an ANCHORITE, we would have been."
That's a term I've only just now clocked and understood some of the significance of.
An Anchorite is akin to a hermit - a religious recluse.
But, crucially, they're not quite the same thing!
Where a hermit typically secludes themselves in the wilderness, an Anchorite is limited to a more specific location, usually a cell attached to a church.
Which is so interesting!
It's interesting that Irving espouses to Hickey all the spiritual benefits of being out in the wilderness, at the edge of civilisation ("We are...separated here. From the temptations of the world.") Benefits that a hermit might enjoy but that Irving himself doesn't appear to be capable of fully appreciating, at least at that point.
It's also interesting not only that an Anchorite is a person who confines themselves to a specific and restrictive space within a religious institution, but also that when they enter that space there's usually a consecration, a ceremony similar to a funeral rite, where the person is thereafter thought of as dead to the world, as a sort of living saint.
It's so interesting that by acting in such a way that other men view him as akin to an Anchorite, Irving quite literally marks himself out for death, hastens his own funeral rites in just the same way that a real Anchorite does.

Things to say to your Israeli/Jewish friends right now instead of Are you okay? or How are you doing? Because we are not okay:
Thinking of you!
I hope you’re taking care of yourself!
I’m praying for you!
My thoughts/heart/prayers are with you right now!
Checking in. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you right now!
Again, there’s never a right thing to say but these are decent starting points.
Feel free to reblog and add your own 🩵

Whosoever, He said, commits sin, whether Jew or Greek, rich or poor, king or beggar, is the servant of sin. O miserable bondage! ...when wearied with the hardness of his tasks... whither does the slave of sin flee? He takes it along with him, wherever he goes; for his sin is within him. The pleasure passes away, but the sin does not pass away: its delight goes, its sting remains behind. He alone can free from sin, Who came without sin, and was made a sacrifice for sin. [With these truths,] Christ purposely alarms us first, and then gives us hope. He alarms us, that we may not love sin; He gives us hope, that we may not despair of the absolution of our sin. Our hope then is this, that we shall be freed by Him who is free. He has paid the price for us, not in money, but in His own blood: If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. Not from the barbarians, but from the devil; not from the captivity of the body, but from the wickedness of the soul. [Now] the first stage of freedom is, the abstaining from sin. But that is only incipient, it is not perfect freedom: for the flesh still lusts against the spirit, so that you do not do the things that you would. Full and perfect freedom will only be, when the contest is over, and the last enemy, death, is destroyed. Do not then abuse your freedom, for the purpose of sinning freely; but use it in order not to sin at all. Your will will be free, if it be merciful: you will be free, if you become the servant of righteousness.

hey beloved gremlins of the web site.
I’m pondering escape and freedom from the psychological torture of fundamentalism this fine evening, and if you too escaped that maze, tell me about it.
Among people who grew up in fundamentalist religious environments and ended up leaving, you hear a lot, and rightfully so, about the trauma and grief and lost experiences of growing up that way.
I could tell you all those tales, but not now.
What about the feeling of the crack in the rigid little box, the realization the horizon is not a boundary but a portal, the sudden expansion of the self, your past self, that had the courage and boldness to say fuck it and walk out?
I had a few such moments, but the most vivid was a day in October of 2009. I had ridden my old mountain bike to a Campus Outreach event near the U of M campus. Campus Outreach was the college ministry of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, the deeply dysfunctional, patriarchal, and white supremacist church I grew up in.
We played Ultimate Frisbee, a game I hated. As I had for almost my entire time in church culture, I stayed on the sidelines, body buzzing with restless energy, which I now recognize as intuition, telling me to leave, that that place held nothing for me.
I finally, fully, listened. I made some excuse, got on my bike, and rode away. It was raining. And do you know what it fucking felt like?
It felt like that part in Pilgrim’s Progress, when Pilgrim loses his big bag of sins. I felt like I’d lost 70lb of dead weight, physically. I felt the restlessness subside, replaced by euphoria. No one could make me go back, and no one had any real leverage, except fear, and that was feeling like a rotten thread instead of the thick rope it used to be.
I rode back to the West Bank through Dinkytown in a haze of happiness. I was free. I’d freed myself. I hung around church with my family for awhile, out of guilt and habit, but that was the beginning of the end, and the birth of every other beginning: being bisexual, being nonbinary, being non-monogamous, leaving Christianity fully, changing almost every single political view I held, allowing myself to be the artist who had been pounding on the walls since I could hold a crayon. Changing myself and being changed so radically that it still makes my head spin, well over a decade later.
Fundie Christians love the narrative that someone who left Christianity was tempted, corrupted, deceived. In reality I’d realized I could fit thru the bars of the cage, the prison guard was a dead scarecrow husk, and the big scary gate was barred with a toothpick.
And since that day, I can tell you from the deepest part of my soul: every part of my life got better. Every single thing.
So tell me, where were you when you realized you were free?
