Here's some of the dev work for Seneca's bead studio in RUIN, the brand new graphic novel from myself and @evegwood, now on Kickstarter.

The Devoted of the House of the Divine Visage record their holy scriptures in beads, a practice which requires many specially trained beaders to carve new texts and restore the old. Seneca takes great pride in his little workshop.

You can spot (readable!) bead texts all throughout the 130 pages of the comic. There will also be a bead alphabet and glossary in the back of the completed book! Check it out on Kickstarter!

I've been getting into shrugs and wraps lately as the weather cools down and luckily, it seems like more lingerie and fashion brands are designing these types of pieces. From left to right, top to bottom:

Blush's Gaia shrug is a versatile mesh piece that you could layer with many lingerie sets CA$40

Thistle & Spire's Smokin Mirrors shrug design makes a little more of a statement with its flame sleeves and silver closure CA$96

Only Heart's CouCou Lola Cadeau Blouse in the maroon Dahlia colourway is the perfect mix of autumnal depth and feminine frills with its front-tie bow and dainty look. Also available in a pale pink and black. CA$119

Finally, finally I'm making the Watcher in VRoid Studio and she actually looks right!

Her sash and her hairpins are missing but I can't figure out how to add them at the moment. Still, this is a big accomplishment for me!
