Thorntuga
Dragling + Spikorn
An ambush hunter with a sturdy, spiked shell. Thorntuga sits partially buried in the ground with its head, limbs, and tail retracted into it's shell, waiting for prey to approach. When it senses the opportunity, it launches it's head from it's shell to snap it's powerful jaws on it's prey.

So! I've already posted the updated art of these guys to replace the original set, but I've now got them with dex entries to provide a little lore! May or may not do individual, more detailed posts for each of these guys later!
Tumblr media
Dex entries below the cut!
Boanz
These diminutive creatures constantly hunger, eating anything they can, from other creatures to garbage to dirt, to fill a mysterious emptiness inside themselves. Tamers are advised to have plenty of snacks available or use appetite suppressants to avoid bites being taken out of them.
Tads
Large polywogs that enjoy damp environments and water. In spite of their underdeveloped legs, they can hop quite a distance.
Grubby
Large, green grubs that are a staple of many predators’ diets. To try to defend themselves, they curl into balls and roll as fast as they can to escape.
Maji
It is unknown what the true form of Maji is beneath it’s cloak and hat. They enjoy stargazing on mountaintops, dreaming of crafting powerful spells.
Rox
Living geodes that seem to wander aimlessly. Judging by how often they bump into things, they appear to be either blind or careless, the latter of which they can afford to be due to how very few things will eat rocks. They have an attraction towards vibrations.
Pippin
Friendly little angels that enjoy helping others. They appear to feed on the gratitude of those whom they aid.
Dervin
Mischievous little devils that enjoy playing tricks on humans, such as moving things while nobody is looking or suddenly shrieking to startle people.
Bulbo
Creatures that resemble sentient plant bulbs. They spend the daytime with their root-like feet buried in the ground as they bask in the sun. At night, they wander in search of water.
Furbin
These highly-adaptable, energetic balls of fur tend to make great pets for children. When food is scarce, they become less active to save energy.
Chikki
Birds that are commonly seen in forested areas, they primarily hunt Grubbies and forage for berries and nuts. The brightness and vibrancy of their crests seems to be an indicator of their overall health.
Dragling
Vicious red lizards that prefer warm or dry climates. They are highly protective of what they deem to be theirs, and spit flames to fight rivals.
Porklin
Small in stature and timid in nature, Porklins wield a surprising amount of strength to protect themselves from predators. They seem to have an intense fear of Boanz.
Skwire
Skwires train with each other endlessly to become great warriors, wielding wooden swords and shields to fight.
Gidget
In the past it was thought that Gidgets and Royaplushes were abandoned toys that came to life. Gidgets are highly social and seem to have a fear of being alone.
Goober
Friendly blobs that seem to enjoy the company of others, and seem unaware of the possible dangers around them. Their eyes float freely in their translucent bodies, but it’s unknown if they actually register anything due to a visible lack of brain.
Spikorn
Strange, rodent-like lizards, they gnaw on metals that they somehow incorporate into the spikes on their shells. The ones with bigger spikes are often viewed as higher in rank.
Gupple
Simple-minded fish that protect themselves by spitting jets of water. They seem capable of traveling on land for short distances, and are surprisingly good at jumping.
Sparkin
These living power cores seem to hibernate when summer hits in an attempt to prevent overheating and exploding.
Mushtool
Mushroom-like creatures that dwell in caves. Their springy bodies give them a strong resistance to impacts. Their short limbs are amazingly effective at digging.
Royaplush
Along with Gidgets, these were thought to be discarded toys that came to life to enact a grudge for being abandoned. While the truth of their nature is still unknown, Royaplush are favored by children for their soft, warm bodies. Though many find their large, glassy eyes to be unnerving.

Edited the critters! Redesigned Sparkin and Spikorn, and removed/replaced Splash, Scorchy, and Bluster with Gupple, Mushtool, and Royaplush! Scorchy and Bluster's traits have been absorbed into Dragling and Chikki respectively!
About this blog
Hi, Sapph here! I made this blog as a place to share a sort of art game/hypothetical monster taming game currently under the name of ‘Fuzevos’.
What’s it about? Fusing and evolving a cast of cute little monsters into bigger, cooler monsters, the purpose of which I’m not certain of yet.
Why are you posting this here? Because partly because I don’t trust Twitter’s ToS with original content with Elon Musk running the show. Was gonna share it here anyway, but more as side content on my Mun blog, Also, I want a little audience participation.
Audience participation? Yeah. Send me asks for which ‘base’ creatures to fuse. Order does count!
Okay, so where are these ‘base’ creatures? Right here:
Tumblr media
Why are you making this a post instead of an info/FAQ page? So people on mobile can see it.
You realize you’re just asking and answering yourself for this thing, right? Yes, I am fully aware.
