So we know that Will can sense whenever Vecna is near

Of course there’s the wardrobe similarity

And we all know that spiders are important to the story

So this could only mean one thing…

That’s right. Will Byers will become Spider-Man in Season 5 of Stranger Things.

Imagine a Miles and Gwen swinging scene that is almost like a dance sequence of weaving and leaping and acrobats, until they begin to whirl around each other as they hang on by their threads, closer and closer and closer and

I know we’ve all talked extensively about Miles being mad at Gwen in BTSV, and how satisfying it would be for him to lash out at her. And don’t get me wrong, I love that all so so much

However, I’ve recently had a brain blast-

What about Pavitr being mad at Gwen?

Cause like we have to assume he didn’t and possibly still doesn’t know about canon events. And even if he does, not only did Gwen or anyone else not tell him about his own, BUT GWEN ACTIVELY TRIED TO PREVENT MILES FROM SAVING OFFICER SINGH. SHE ACTIVELY TRIED TO ENSURE THE DEATH OF SOMEBODY HE CARED ABOUT. While obviously understandable with the context of the movie and stuff, it’s another thing we can add to the list of devious charges against her btw-

And ik the happy go-lucky character blowing up in anger is kind of a cliche’d trope, but you guys……the angst potential? Lord above, let’s really talk about it 🙏 Cliche’d tropes are done to death for a reason

This also gives great potential for Miles and Pavitr to actually really become good friends in BTSV too!

BTSV Prediction

So, this is another scene that's been playing out in my head that I think would be really cool to see in beyond the spider-verse when it comes out. (hopefully sometime in 2025 cuz they started voicing again!!)

So Gwen is the leader of the new Spider-team, right? She's the one who rounded them all up and she's the one who's sending them to Earth-42 to get save Miles and eventually save his dad from the canon event.

But they're going to end up having to face the rest of the Spider-society. And this time, they'll be ready. Before, Miles caught them off-guard, but now Miguel and the rest are going to be doing everything in their power to prevent him from ruining the canon event.

But what if a lot of them are regretting their choices?

We already saw in the end of across the spiderverse that a lot of the spiders were feeling guilty. Even Jess was shown doubting her decision when she watched Gwen talk to Miles' parents.

So what if we get a scene in BTSV where Gwen, the leader, convinces the other spiders in the spider society to join her side?

Gwen confronts the entire spider-society, while Miguel is off doing something, and gives an awesome speech. Something along the lines of, "If you could go back and save Uncle Ben, would you? If you knew that you could save him, would you?"

And when one of them responds saying "Its a canon event" she'll be like "we don't know that. We don't even know if canon events are real. Spider-man doesn't let people die. Fate doesn't exist. Look at me. Destiny hates me, and I'm still trying. I'm not just going to let myself die and you shouldn't be letting innocent people die just because some algorithm says to. That's not what being spider-man is."

And eventually, part of the spider society will join her cause while the rest stay with Miguel. And we have a spider-war.

I think that would be kind of cool.

In ATSV, Miguel looks at a video of himself with Gabriella and at first glance it looks like our Miguel. However, it’s actually alt Miguel since that video shows him having brown eyes while our Miguel has red eyes which are a result of his spider powers. I figure this means that alt Miguel never became Spider-Man likely because he quit Alchemax, as the lab experiment there is why his transformation occurred in the first place.

Additionally, with alt Miguel having a family it indicates that this dimension is where Miguel (who was in a love triangle in the 90’s comics) chose Xina over Dana and in turn chose Xina over Alchemax. Xina and Miguel were very much in the trajectory of having a future together aka have a family before their fallout regarding Dana and Alchemax occurred. With alt Miguel choosing Xina and sticking to this trajectory, he was able to live the life our Miguel wanted to live if he didn’t give into fear and his need for stability.

Thus, when our Miguel sees alt Miguel getting killed, he sees an opening for himself to correct his prior wrongs: choosing Alchemax and losing Xina. I also figure Miguel jumping dimensions is how he’ll correct the wrongs enacted upon him in his past as him fulfilling Gabriella’s father role could be a way for him to reconcile having an abusive father in his childhood. I think BTSV will expand upon this point by revealing his true comic origins and show that him losing his interpersonal relationships (ie Gabriel and Xina) and making up for past mistakes and trauma is the reason why he left his home dimension.

I just hope at the end of BTSV, Miguel gets to go back to home dimension and see that his relationships with the people he cares about most, Gabriel and Xina, can be fixable. Additionally, I hope he realizes that he can still build the future that alt Miguel had with Xina, which includes him embracing his Spider-Man identity in that future as well.

Cringetober day 6: Neko

I absolutely love the headcanon/trope that Peter finds out about Pepper's pregnancy before she does, because he can hear heartbeats. It's canon now, I've decided. Pepper becomes pregnant with Morgan before the events of Infinity War and Peter's the one who tells her.

He even does a reveal with those mugs that say "You're going to be a daddy!" with one for Tony and one for Pepper that says "You're going to be a mommy!".

But something I love even more is that my other obsession, BBC Sherlock has something similar. AND IT'S ACTUALLY CANON.

Sherlock finds out that Mary's pregnant before she does, through deductions. He notices her appetite's changed, her taste perception's changed and she's been experiencing nausea that could be put down to pre-marital nerves. But he puts it all together and deduces that she's pregnant.

One of my favorite headcanons for MCU Spider-Man actually happened on Sherlock! I love it when this stuff happens.

Picture me sitting there after i watched the new Spiderverse just waiting for the Miguel O'hara x Peter B Parker to kick in

What is going on with Spiderman, if i might ask? I am more in the dc side of things but now i am curious

Long story but about a year ago when the writer change happened there was a couple time skips - before the time skip peter was pretty happy with him and mj about to move in together then the 6 month time skip happens and we see Peter sitting in a smoking crater looking recked then another 6 month time skip happens and we find out that Peters life is once again a reck - he's in a shit ton of medical debt, the superhero community hate him, he's working for Norman Osborne (so is kamala Khan which honestly I personally didn't actually question why she was there but apparently I should have), and on top of that him and mj have split up with mj now dating a man named Paul who she has 2 kids with. (Like they call her mommy and the little girl has her red hair)

So anyway for a long while the series just goes on without finding out what happened. Peter does his superhero thing he fights tombstone, gets Norman's help, and he starts dating felicia.

Then finally in a recent issue we find out what happened, turns out a old spider villain has come back and he's stronger then ever, turns out he threw both mj and Peter into an alternate version of new York which was destroyed and ruled by an Aztec god,turns out this new York doesn't have anyone living there apart from Paul who teams up with spidy and mj, shit happens they're all trying to escape but only peter does, he gets flung back to earth and it turns out that's the crater scene from the beginning. Peter then does a series of stupid all because of that classic troupe everyone loves, I'm in too much of a rush to explain myself so misunderstandings happen, bc the thing is very obviously time works differently in the alternate universe, instead of just saying that Peter fights with captain America, he then decides to team with Norman and steal the thing he needed from the fantastic 4, iron man and moon girl and by this point it turns out he's been working with Norman for a wee while and it's like you have time to work with Norman but not explain yourself to your friends sure, kamala also sees Norman make an explosion so that's why she's there, and finally Peters able to get back to the other new York only to find out as expected time happened and Paul and mj had kids in this destroyed new York. Good for them
