When it comes to ATSV ships, my favorites will always be my OC x canon ones, though I assume you’re asking purely about canon

My favorite ship within the canon characters is definitely Spider-Dads (Miguel x Peter). When it comes to Mary Jane in relation with that, I personally go with the open relationship route between her and Peter because respectfully, I don’t really care enough about Mary Jane to ship her x Miguel x Peter

I don’t actively ship it, but I’m very much in support of Flowerbyte (Miles x Margo), and I definitely don’t mind the idea of Ghostbyte (I assume that’s what Gwen x Margo is called)

I know you asked about favorite ships, but I also wanna take a moment to speak on Prowler-motor (I think that’s what Aaron x Jess is called). I find it a veeery strange ship just with how narratively divorced these two characters are, but I am a huge proponent of so long as you’re not hurting anyone, do whatever you want. Also I recognize that this ship comes from the fandoms very reasonable desire for Black love from this franchise and I understand entirely. Also also I will surely take any form of love from the fandom for my king Aaron 🫡

hi there -- i had complimented you work before, but after finding myself in another borderlands kick, ive now reread WAW (for the fourth time, at least in it entirely. ive read my favorite snippets all the time) but this story is just so important to me - i love it, the lore you add is so masterful as well as your deciption of abuse. its never linear, there's often not "the perfect victim." I can't think of many stories that display this in such a way I feel seen then .... a borderlands fic i read almost 5 years ago. truly i can't wait to see what work you do in the future (signed someone that's read cost of canon despite someone who is not into spiderverse)

rereading it has been developing an au of an au -- au-ception right? something along the lines of timothy sending angel to sanctuary when tania had attacked at ellies (maybe even have her take nyx and crake, i often forget they aren't canon and their deaths hit so hard to this day)

Ahaha was it the movie that put you back in the BL kick? I've not seen it, but I've seen the disaster vibes it's giving off. Thank you. When I reflect on WAW, what I'm most proud of (and what I enjoyed the most) is the lore, the world-building, and the OCs.

Any recommendations for fic, blogs, etc., where they're portrayed accurately (age-wise)? Yours, obviously, but lately Spider-Man fandom has been inundated by immaturity, and I'm looking for some more serious, age accurate portrayals? So far, your fic is one of the only newer pieces I've found. Thank you for staying true to the material in that sense. Seriously.

Im not the most equipped to answer this since I don't browse the tag that often / when i do, im filtering out a bunch of side-ships and other tropes to avoid stuff that gives me the ick 😭

Spiderdads fic for y’all! ^^ Warning! There’s angst here!

^ Some days were harder than others. Miguel knew that all too well, walking away from Peter and MayDay as fast as he could. He loved Peter, he loved MayDay too, but it was painful. To be reminded of what he had lost hurt worse than any bruise or cut, it hurt him worse than when he broke a couple ribs fighting a villain. The loss of Gabi was personal, heartbreaking, and would never go away. Quicker than he had expected, Miguel found himself in his empty lab. He sat down in one of the corners, pulling his legs up to his chest as he began to cry. His tears were felt hot, almost like they were burning. They fell fast, his cheeks stained with the tears after only a couple of seconds. He couldn’t let anyone see him like this. He had to be seen as the tough and stern leader the Spider Society needed, not a cry baby. Miguel gasped when he heard the lab doors open, trying his best to rub away the tears on his face and then cursing when new tears came to replace the ones wiped away. “Miguel? You in here?” Called Peter, and Miguel tried his best to be silent, using all the effort he could to suppress his sniffles and whimpers. It didn’t work in the end, because Peter ended up finding him. Peter’s face was full of shock and concern. Miguel felt guilty. He felt stupid and ashamed. This was his problem to deal with and he had dragged Peter into it. “Go away.” Miguel spoke, choking on his words as he buried his face in his hands. Like always, Peter didn’t listen. Peter walked to Miguel’s side, sitting down next to the crying man. The two sat in silence for a bit, the only noises coming from Miguel’s ragged breathing. “Do you wanna talk about it?” Peter whispered, putting an arm around Miguel’s shoulders. Miguel took his head out of his hands, looking up at Peter who had a soft smile on his face. Miguel’s bottom lip began to quiver as the tears started to fall again. He laid his head on Peter’s chest, pulling at the fabric of Peter’s suit as he cried. His sobbing was loud. Every word was like a scream, every gasp and suck of breath through clenched teeth sounding painful, almost making Peter cry himself. Peter tried to comfort Miguel, rubbing circles into his back as the Miguel tugged and pulled at Peter’s spidey suit. Eventually Miguel calmed down, cheeks stained with tears and sniffles as quiet as whispers. “S-Sorry.” Miguel choked out, his grip on Peter’s suit loosening. “You have nothing to be sorry for.” Peter assured, running his fingers through Miguel’s hair. “How’re you feeling?” Peter asked, voice soft and quiet. “I’m ok.” Miguel answered. “Any other day I’d let you get away with that, but not today. Don’t lie to me Miguel, how are you actually feeling?” Peter persisted. Miguel sighed, “Guilty, stupid… sad.” “You know what?” “What?” “It’s perfectly valid to feel that way. Everyone has their doubts about themselves, and it’s important to acknowledge them so they don’t get all bottled up inside.” Peter smiled, kissing Miguel’s forehead. Miguel rolled his eyes, a smile forming on his face. “God, Peter, you sound like a therapist.” He chuckled, before letting his head fall onto Peter’s shoulder. “I’ll sound like Kermit if it’ll keep a smile on your face.” Peter teased, before doing a mediocre impression of Kermit the Frog. Miguel only hummed, wrapping his arms around Peter.

13. Favorite ask game of the year: I can't remember which ones I played, but I remember there was a time I had reblogged "post your anonymous confessions" or something, and it resulted in the most interesting asks and conversations with you guys^^ I liked that.

14. My top achievements as a writer/artist/creator/blogger: If I'll be around in a year, this won't be 'writer' but 'blogger', but for this one as a writer, it'll again be completing all 31 days of tickletober right on schedule despite a minor intervention.. :"D

Spiderdads is really funny if you treat how they view it as too completely different genres.

Miguel is in a grim dark sci-fi novel with a really persistent side character. He's got brooding. He's got trauma. He's got angst. He's... now holding his co-worker's baby as the aforementioned coworker is showing him photos of Mayday petting a massive dog and comparing it to him.

Meanwhile, Peter's wondering why the first arc in his office rom-com is taking so long. He's going to put Peter out of burger money if he continues being so dense. The entire office has given Peter their opinion on the duo's tension (partially because Peters are inherently chatty about drama so long as its not their drama)
