The money will be deposited to a bank account that is legally yours, but which I have set up without providing you any details and without them receiving any way to contact you. Rest assured however that it is a bank that invests its money in things you morally disagree with. The money will be taken from Americans that live the most rich, fulfilling lives but do not necessarily have the most financial wealth. As taking money in this way is factually illegal, any memories of this wish will be erased to ensure NO ONE can trace the money to anything illegal. Furthermore, while it is true that no one can trace the money back to anything illegal at the moment of making this wish, this does not cover:

- future tracing technologies

- autonomous tracing programs (no one, not nothing)

- a team effort (no ONE)

Me meeting a genie: Okay, so my first wish is for 1000 dollars a day, deposited to my bank account without any way of tracing it to anything illegal. I want this money to come from the ten richest people in America (100 dollars each), withdrawn under the guise of nebulous, random purchases and surcharges. It would probably be best to split the money into a myriad of smaller fees, though, to reduce the likelihood of anyone noticing. Got all that?

Me, continuing on without a care: For my SECOND wish, I want you to give me the ability to learn any given phoneme, so that I can learn to pronounce new languages perfectly. If you're willing, it'd be nice if it were a little easier to memorize new languages too, but if that's not cool, I'm perfectly fine doing all the legwork myself I mostly just want to be capable of pronouncing things correctly.

This guy at work was asking about my sheath knife, a Boker Magnum Sgian Dhu, and he wanted to know where he could get a belt holster for his knife. While he’s talking to me, he’s been fiddling with this button on the pocket over his wife’s left tit. He pulls out a black-handled Spyderco rip-off with the big thumbhole and pointy blade. After I tell him where to look, he tucks it back in and buttons the pocket. She had no reaction until I pointed out that he was using her for a holster.

Pocket Knife

• Do you like natural wood or bone handles, or do you like modern synthetic handles?

If you like synthetic handle materials, you'll probably like those who found strategic knives.

Some traditional style knives have a crampon or full shape, but they are very rare.

• Do you want multiple blade?

If more than one blade is desired, the traditional pocket knife is probably your favorite knife. If you just want a blade, consider the strategic record, most are only available with a blade.

• Do you want to carry a knife in your pocket or do you want to attach it to the edge of your pocket?

 Should you close a branded pocket knife or brand?

I would suggest to have a clear case and catalyst salt, spiderco, knife knife, garbage gear, bench and many other popular brands in the market. The main reason for joining these well known knife brands is that they all have a long history of pocket knife quality and generally have excellent support. Another advantage of sticking with these known brands is that you will get a large number of online reviews for their different knives, which will help you look at knives, good and bad, and help prevent pocket knives during testing.

 What kind of blade material is best?

There are many debates about this, but here are some guidelines that will help you determine what is best for you. The stainless steel is a little soft, which makes the blade sharp and easy to hold sharp edges in a reasonable amount. Carbon steel will be harder and longer than the stainless steel, but it is difficult to maintain at the right time.

Damascus is another popular choice, especially looking for pocket knife collector and those quality jobs. Damascus steel has often been a beautiful pattern of steel, and this is why Samurai Towers were built. The features of Damascus are similar to stainless steel, that is, it is hard to hold sharp edges, but flexible enough to sharpen.

Who should be Interested in the Spyderco Shaman?

If you’re in the market for an EDC knife that comes in on the larger side and can handle some heavy work, then the Spyderco Shaman should be on your shortlist of knives to consider.

It’s large enough to do the hard tasks and still small enough to be comfortable after carrying it all day long. In our opinion, it’s a great blade that fits most people’s EDC needs.

Features

The Spyderco Shaman has an 8 ¼" overall length, comes in at just over 4.5" when it’s closed and weights 5.2 ozs.

The blade is made of S30V steel and is 3.58" long. The sharpened edge is 3.12" which leaves enough room at the bottom of the blade for a good-sized finger choil. At a little over 1/8" thick, the Shaman’s blade is on the hefty side yet it still has a sharp, fine tip for more delicate work if needed.

Spyderco claims that the blade has a full-flat grind but it isn’t a true full-flat grind. The top of the blade has enough of a flat edge to make locking it into certain knife sharpeners possible.

The handle is made of G-10 and shaped to make it feel great in the hand. The compression locking mechanism is located on the back of the handle.

You can carry knife in either a tip-up or tip-down position and on the left or right side. So no matter how you prefer to carry your knives, you’re in luck.

Spyderco Shaman Pros

The Spyderco Shaman is easy to open and close with one hand like most Spiderco Knives.

Available in serrated and straight blade designs and either a stainless steel finish or Spyderco’s Diamond-Like Carbon Coating. The Diamond-Like Carbon Coating is strong and holds up well under hard use.

The handle is smooth enough to feel great in the hand but still has enough texture to make it feel secure when you’re working with it.

The jimping on the blade and finger choil allow you to choke up on the knife so you can do finer work when needed.

Spyderco Shaman Cons

For some people, the Shaman is probably a little on the large size. If you’re looking for a dainty little pen knife then this isn’t going to be for you. If you want a smaller knife that’s going to mostly be used in the office it will still work for you, but it’s going to up to personal preference.

The main drawback of the Shaman is the sharp edge of the pocket clip. The handle itself feels great in the hand, but it’s ruined by the pocket clip in most positions. There are other clips available from third-party manufacturers that will fix this problem but it’s something that you shouldn’t have to worry about with a knife that runs around $200.

Conclusion

Overall, the Spyderco Shaman is one of the better knives available these days for EDC. (It’s my current go-to EDC knife.) It’s made in America, has a good-sized blade that thick and strong enough for tough work yet it can handle smaller jobs that require finesse just as well.
