This week's travel inspiration: Let's dream of going to the beach! More specifically, let's look at why the beaches on Zanzibar Island, Tanzania, Africa, are a terrific vacation choice!

Kizimkazi beach, Zanzibar Island

If you're going on a wildlife viewing safari, a great place to stop afterwards for a few days (or longer if you have the time) is Zanzibar Island, a short distance from mainland Tanzania, Africa. The flight to Zanzibar from the mainland is quick and easy. Imagine lounging by or swimming in pristeen water like this, at Kizimkazi beach!

Kizimkazi beach is one of the prettiest beach areas I've ever seen

In addition to resting, relaxing and swimming at the beach, did you know that it's also possible to go on a dolphin watching excursion not far from shore? It's even possible to swim with the dolphins once you locate them, however, the water was very choppy when I went and I didn't feel safe getting into water with such large waves. It was still neat to watch them jump out of the water!
