I’m really quite proud of myself over the last week with regard to spending. The whole week came to €11.99 in total. 🙂 : Just like groceries I’ve given myself a €100 budget per week for the running of the house. It might sound like a lot but it includes EVERYTHING that’s not groceries or utilities. Things like: light bulbs, clothes, holidays, days out, swimming gear, school expenses, pens. The list is long. : This budget runs over the year, so on weeks like this I’m only spending a small amount so that in other weeks like when holidays or swimming lessons pop up, I’m fully ready to shoot way over the €100. : So, here is my really almost frugal and proud week... 1. €5.71- on eBay for 3 rolls of masking tape. I’m making more of our food at home now so I use the masking tape for labeling up the tubs. 2. €1.29 - cheese cloth. My kids are growing and need to find more ways to reduce my food budget. So I’ve decided to make my own plant milk. I have a dairy allergy and my son is looking like he is developing it too. His poor kids can get so sore. 3. €3.99 - bunch of roses , I just really craved a splash of color in the kitchen. I know that I could have gone without. But I’m only human and I’m quite proud of myself that it wasn’t a bottle of wine. I’m almost 2 months into the No Alcohol part and haven’t given in yet 😬 : : ; So that’s the up date. Here to hoping that my plan on growing the veg patch for free pans out. I’ll keep you posted 😉 : : : Does any else have a limit on their Spend days?
