Drunken Truths - Spencer Reid
JJ was always beautiful but at her wedding party she was breathtaking and every guy was staring at her. I’m of course not annoyed at JJ but it makes my skin crawl at the way Spencer stares at her, like she hung the stars. I want him to look at me like that but I understand why he does look at her like that.
Rossi notices and says quietly, “You’ll never know if you don’t ask.” Before he pats my back gently and walking towards Penny. I don’t know if I should approach him because it’s Spencer and I don’t want to ruin the friendship we already have. He’s my best friend and if I lost him I have no idea how I would cope and really, for someone with an eidetic memory and an IQ of 180 he really is oblivious. He glances over, as if feeling me staring, and sends me a brilliant smile that has me melting and makes up my mind that I won’t tell him how I feel. I don’t want to lose the moments like this.
I just sit and watch the others dance and laugh, occasionally joining in on the fun but I’d rather watch and admire this mismatched family I’ve gained while working at the BAU. It’s more than I could have ever asked for and to have Rossi and Hotch as father figures is unbelievable. I’m staying sober as I know Spencer’s already had three too many drinks so I’ll be taking him home.
“Yourrrrrrree cuuuute!” A familiar voice appears except they’re very, very slurred. Spencer is trying to lean against the bar but his elbow keeps slipping off and he’s trying to wink but the poor guy is blinking instead.
“You’re drunk.” I tell him, adjusting his elbow so he won’t fall over.
“I am in looooovvvveeee with youuuuuu,” He boops me on the nose, giggling, definitely not knowing what he’s saying. To say my heart stopped is an understatement. I have wanted to hear those words for years but Spencer’s drunk and JJ’s my twin sister so of course he’s confessing to me.
“I’m not JJ.” I remind him, looking away before the waterworks start because of course it’s not me he wants.
“Y/NNNN I am in love with yoouuu not JJ.”
“What?!” I think I get whiplash as I turn back so fast at his words, unsure if I’m suddenly drunk, “Let me take you home, you’ve had enough to drink.”
“Okaaaayyyyy,” He giggles, wrapping an arm around my waist and leaning on my shoulder, stumbling along with me as I go to find one of the team. It ends up being the bride herself and she sees just how drunk Spencer is, wishing us a safe journey home and hugging us both. I slam a hand over Spencer’s mouth before he says something stupid and usher him out of the venue and to my car. He’s so drunk I have to buckle him in before getting in the drivers side myself.
I almost run a stop sign when a hand slithers it’s way to my thigh, not dirtily hight but not low enough to just be friendly. I throw a glance at Spencer who has his head back against the headrest and eyes closed with a blissful look on his face. It’s both cute and hot and if I keep staring at him I will either jump him or crash so I do everything to I can to focus on the road as we’re so close to mine.
As soon as I shut the front door, Spencer grabs my hand and flops back on the sofa. I tumble on top of him with a shriek that is cut off by drunk and sloppy lips against mine. Spencer’s kissing me. It’s a dream come true but not… not like this. It takes all my will power to pull away enough to meet his cognac eyes that are glazed with lust and another emotion I don’t want to recognise just yet.
“Spence, I want you to be in love with me,” My voice is shaky as he cups my cheek in his palm, “But I want to hear it when you’re sober.”
“Okayyyy,” He smiles dopily, letting me get up and I wish him goodnight, knowing he’ll find the spare blanket and pillow I keep in the box that is also a coffee table as he’s stayed here enough times.
I shut my bedroom door softly and strip out of the dress, pulling on an oversized teeshirt that I realise is actually Spencer’s. He left it here one night and I didn’t have it in me to give it back as it smelt just like him: old books, cinnamon and coffee. Once in bed all I can think about is the fact Spencer said he loved me and he kissed me. I fall asleep with the feeling of his lips on mine.
To be awoken in the morning by a very awkward Spencer trying to brew coffee with a pounding headache. He almost drops the pot when he sees me stumble in wearing just his oversized shirt and a pair of panties.
“You’re beautiful,” He breathes so quietly I almost don’t hear it except he’s making his way around the island until he’s standing directly in front of me. His hands reach for mine before he hesitates, so I open mine in a silent ok for him and it feels so right when his hands slot in mine.
“Do you remember last night?” I can’t bear to speak above a whisper, not wanting to break the moment, especially when he nods, “If you mean it I want to hear you say it-“
“I am madly in love with you Y/N Jareau,” He tells me and that’s all I need to drop his hands, grab his shirt and yank him into a kiss that I try and pour all of my emotions into. Spencer seems to understand. His hands grip my hips and pull me closer, stealing the breath in my lungs and all I can do is kiss back as my hands scramble for something to grip onto. I end up settling with one hand in his hair and the other balled in the front of his suit shirt, scared he’s going to disappear or I’m going to wake up suddenly.
“I’m not going anywhere.”

Spencer Reid x Reader -- Sweatshirt
Class: Fluff, Romance, Slight 18+ Includes: Fluff, minimal 18+, cuddling, Spencer’s favorite sweatshirt, sappiness Plot: Reader gets cold during a movie night and wants to wear Spencer’s sweatshirt. He refuses-- let the games begin. A/N: My first Spencer Reid x Reader oneshot! Let me know what you think, and if you have any requests! -------------------
"I've got the popcorn! Start it!" Spencer jumped onto the couch beside you, grinning ear and causing you to squeak in surprise as you almost fell into him.
An easy laugh slipped from your lips as your eager boyfriend nestled in beside you, resting the blue plastic bowl of popcorn on the coffee table. He pulled you into him, trapping you against his chest with deceivingly strong arms. You laughed again, squirming a bit to get more comfortable before starting the movie-- Pet Sematary. Spencer had convinced you to watch a horror movie with him, as his favorite Holiday was quickly approaching and it would help set the mood for it. He didn't actually own a television, so your house was the only option.
"Did you know," the doctor began, a common introduction to another info dump session, "Pet Sematary--the book-- was actually so unsettling to Stephen King that he wasn't even planning on publishing it in the first place? He only did so to fulfill a publishing contract he wanted to get out of. It was also inspired by a real life situation, too. Back when he was a resident of..." and he rambled on, and on, and on. You usually didn't stop him, because you couldn't. You found your heart swelling with affection every time he did this, and you hung onto every word he uttered. However, he was still info dumping when the first scene rolled around.
You placed a gentle kiss on his lips to silence him, and you felt his body tighten then relax as a result. He looked dazed when you pulled away, and you couldn't help but chuckle. "The movie is starting, Spence." "O-Oh. Sorry," he responded sheepishly. "Don't apologize," you smiled warmly before snuggling back into him. He placed a kiss on top of your head and settled in.
This was bliss. You couldn’t think of anywhere you would rather be than here with him-- granted, you weren’t thrilled that he insisted on a horror movie, but the way his face lit up when you agreed to it made it worth it. You really couldn’t express how much you adored him... well, actually, you could. You wanted so badly to finally tell him that you loved him, but you didn’t want to overwhelm him. He was easily spooked, and was relatively new to the dating game. You hesitated because you didn’t want to scare him off. Saying it too soon would do that, no doubt. It had been five months, but there was no guaranteeing that Spencer was ready yet.
It was getting harder and harder with every passing day.
You hadn’t realized how distracted you’d been until you felt a shiver run through you. It was colder in the house than you realized. Spencer was warm, but not warm enough to keep a chill from nipping at you. You squirmed a bit more in his arms, which he loosened a bit to give you more free range.
“Are you okay?” He asked. “Yeah, I’m fine,” you assured him, “just cold...” you eyed his baggy sweatshirt, one of his favorites to lounge around in. You knew it to be very fuzzy on the inside because he once made you feel the inside of his sleeve. He squinted at you, and it didn’t take him more than a beat to realize what you were looking at and why. You wanted to wear his sweatshirt.
“No... no, this one is my favorite one!” “Please!” You begged. He shook his head and moved his arms off of you to cross them over his chest, as if protecting the sweatshirt. “No! I won’t see it again for a month!” “Don’t be such a drama queen. Give,” you grabbed at the fabric of his sleeves. He laughed and remained stubborn, even sticking his tongue out at you mockingly. You gasped. Spencer managed to wiggle himself free from under you and bolted into the kitchen. You scrambled to your feet and chased after him, leaving the movie playing for an empty couch and untouched popcorn.
When you made it to the kitchen, your boyfriend was standing at the far end, his arms still crossed. He narrowed his eyes at you. “Why can’t you get one of your own? You have six of them... and that purple snuggy,” he tried to reason. “Four of them are in the dirty laundry, actually.” “Fine. Two sweatshirts and a purple snuggy. Why does it have to be mine?” He tensed up as you neared him. When you lunged to wrap your arms around him, he swerved quickly (though not gracefully) around you. You narrowly missed, stumbling and whirling around to see that he was already backing towards the other end of the kitchen.
“Spencer!” You laughed through his name. “Stay away!” He tried not to laugh, but the wide smile and bright look in his eyes gave away how amused he was by your failed attempt to grab him. Spencer ran, and you followed him, all the way into your room and around the rug in the middle of your floor. He nearly slipped in his socks on the hardwood, but he managed to steady himself. You closed some of the space between the two of you during his clumsy display, but his long legs carried him back out of your room and into the living room where it began.
Your heart was racing, and you couldn’t wipe the smile from your face. “Just give up and give me the sweatshirt,” you said lowly. You both stood still, trying to stare the other down. “Never.” “Spence.” “It’s not happening! Sorry, you’ll just have to go get one of yours.” “Why don’t we trade? You can wear my green one with the blue sleeves, and I’ll wear yours?” “That-- literally makes no sense! You would be going to get the sweatshirt to give to me, so why not put it on?”
You pouted, but Spencer remained stubborn. You paused to think about what might get him to break. You began to formulate an idea, putting together a quick and easy plan.
You walked up to Spencer, slower this time. He backed up, about to make another run for it. You held up your hands in front of you. The nerdy agent squinted at you, testing the waters by staying still.
“Fine, fine...” you said slowly. “You look really cute in it anyway.” “I-I do?” Spencer was hesitant. You felt your heart in your throat now, anxious about what you had planned. You tried to hide it though. You swallowed your heartbeat, and by the time you were close enough to reach out and touch him, he was turning red. Maybe it was the devilish smile that crept its way to your lips, or the way you looked his lanky figure up and down. In the few times that you slept with Spencer, you had learned that he was typically submissive in situations like the one you were creating. You were going to work that to your advantage.
“Mhm. What? Haven’t I told you that before?” you questioned him with a coyish glint in your eyes. You stepped closer to him, reaching up and tracing your fingers along his jawline. Your eyes met his before wandering to his mouth. You brushed your thumb against his bottom lip, causing his breath to catch in his throat. He swallowed hard.
“I know what you’re trying to do.” Spencer’s words came out in an almost breathless rush. You grinned, meeting his hazel eyes again. “Mm~hm, of course you do. You know everything... you and that big brain of yours. I mean, I can only think of one thing bigger,” you grinned cheekily and flashed a glance down, then let your eyes roam his face as your thigh pressed against him. Spencer let out a gasp, leaning into you involuntarily. You cupped his face, bringing it closer so you could kiss the bridge of his nose.
“Your big heart.”
Spencer’s eyes narrowed. Clearly that wasn’t the answer he expected. You blinked at him with mockingly innocent eyes. “What? It’s the thing I love most about you, Spencer~”
And there it was.
You hoped he hadn’t caught it, but you knew you weren’t lucky enough for that. Spencer stared at you, wide eyed and slack jawed for a different reason now. You stepped away from him and threw your hands over your mouth.
“Did-- you just...?” Spencer stammered. You nodded slowly in response. He seemed thoughtful for a moment. You mustered up the will to tear your hands away from your burning face.
“I... I’m sorry. It just slipped out! I wasn’t thinking and--” “Well... did you mean it?” He asked, looking at you with knitted brows. You were silent, but you nodded sheepishly. “Well then say it,” he placed his hands behind your elbows. You met his longing gaze, one that gave away the beg in his request. Suddenly, you realized your hesitation had been unjustified all this time. Spencer had expressed his love for you in many ways, as you had for him. It was only a matter of saying it now.
“I love you,” You breathed with a growing smile. Spencer grinned ear to ear. “I love you too!” Excitement dripped from every word of his proclamation. His hands moved slowly to cup your face. The smile didn’t leave his perfect lips, even as he pressed them against yours. You allowed your eyes to flutter closed on instinct, and everything began to melt away. As corny as this felt, you loved every bit of it. That was when the television roared, causing you to scream shortly and whirl around. Even Spencer jumped a little. But you both sighed in relief when you realized it was just the movie you’d left playing.
Spencer doubled over laughing at your reaction. You crossed your arms and swatted playfully at his arm. “Not funny!” “Uh, yeah it actually was,” he insisted when he finished laughing at you. “Don’t act like you didn’t get startled, too!” “No, I did! But at least I didn’t scream like a little kid,” he gave you a playful shove. You scoffed and buried into him again, muttering “Rude” lowly, but loud enough for him to hear. Spencer hugged you tightly, sighing happily and swaying side to side with you.
“Can I have the sweatshirt because you love me?” You blurted out. Spencer tilted his head back and laughed, then groaned in defeat. He let go of you to slip the sweatshirt over his head, revealing a white t-shirt that clung to him. He pulled the sweatshirt over your head, trapping your arms inside. You smiled broadly as you were pulled back into him like before, your arms still trapped inside. You hummed, satisfied with your victory and the total fluffy warmth that enveloped you.
You would be sure to express the depth of your gratitude to him later.

Jealousy (Spencer Reid)
Y/N and Spencer broke up a few weeks before their spring leave and he was absolutely devastated. He couldn't fully enjoy his leave even if he tried. Today was their first day back and Y/N was one of the last to arrive. When Reid set his eyes on her, his heart skipped many beats. She looked so different than before.
She cut her hair and got a new tattoo that starts at her shoulder blade and ends at the back of her neck. The way she walks proves that she's moved on and she's happy. Which only makes Reid fall deeper into his sadness. The team was invited by the Ontario police force to help find a serial killer. Reid, Y/N and Hotch stayed at the station to keep brainstorming.
Y/N was overlooking a few files she had in her hands and Reid was writing on the board. He needed to get passed her and he did something he was so accustomed to doing. He placed a hand on her lower back and caressed it softly. That was his nonverbal way of saying excuse me. It regreted it right after he did it.
"I-I'm so sorry. I'm just so used to- sorry," "It's okay, Reid," she says with a smile. The same smile that used to make his heart skip a beat. The rest of the case, Reid couldn't keep his eyes off of Y/N and she noticed but chose to ignore it.
But there came a point that she couldn't take it anymore. "Reid, if you don't mind me asking, what is your problem?" "I'm sorry, what?" "You've been staring at me all day and not saying a word. What's up with that?" "Nothing, I-- I..." he trails off. "It doesn't matter," he adds after a long pause.
"Hey," she places a hand over his and his gaze falls to their hands. "It matters to me if it's starting to effect our professional relationship," she adds. "How are you so happy? Was I really that bad?" he asks. Many thoughts course through Y/N's head. She was in the same shape as Reid was but she was just better at hiding it.
She was trying to find her own way of being happy by cutting her hair and getting a new tattoos. But those were only a temporary fix. She wanted Reid. "Let's have dinner and talk about it, okay?" Reid nods and Y/N realized that their hands were still placed over one another. She hesitantly pulls away from him and continues to work on the case.
"I think that's a wise choice," Hotch says to Y/N and she nods softly.
**
Y/N's POV
I decided to order Chinese food for dinner and I was in the middle of doing my laundry when I hear a my door bell ring. I set my basket on the table before, answering the door.
As soon as I open the door, I see Reid holding a large bag of starburst minis and a bouquet of flowers. "Wow, thanks, Spence. I wasn't expecting this." I open the door and he walks into my house.
"Why weren't you expecting this?" He says as he hands me his gifts. "I don't know. But I appreciate the gesture. The food is coming soon, you're welcome to relax on the couch." I state.
He sits on the couch and takes the remote into his hands to flick through the channels. He sets his legs on the table and crosses his ankles like he used to do.
I grab my basket of clothes and sit on the couch across from him. I chew on the inside of my cheeks as I fold my clothes into their separate piles. "Those are new," Reid says as he seeing a red lace thong hanging off the edge of basket. I grab it and toss it into my underwear pile. "Why, do you want them or something?" I tease.
His eyes narrow at me and his face fell blank. My heart sinks at the fact that he was dead serious. "Are you seeing someone?" "What? No, Reid. We broke up a month ago, and it's still fresh in my mind." "I don't believe you," he stands from the couch and so do I.
"Whether or not you believe me is irrelevant, Spencer." He cross his him and clenches his jaw in thought. A soft sigh leaves my lips as I rake my fingers through my hair.
"And we came here for dinner, not to fight." I add. In a single stride, we are face to face. He walks me backwards until I fall back into the couch. He placed a hand behind the cushion of the couch and leans in so close that I could smell his aftershave. "
If I find out that another man is fucking you, I will lose my damn mind. And I will make sure to make his life a living hell, do you understand me?" He whispers in to ear, sending chills down my back.
My legs unconsciously open themselves and he adds, "Is that an invitation?" Before I could say another word, the door bell rings. "Is that him? The guy you're sleeping with?" He pulls away from me and makes angry strides towards the front door. "No, Spencer. It's just th-"
He opens the door and shoves the delivery guy into one of the pillars on my porch. "Oh my God, Spencer!" I yell as I spring to my feet. I rush to the door and pull him off of the delivery guy. "If I ever see you over here again, im--"
"Enough, Spencer! God, what the hell is wrong with you!" I snap. I take his wallet from his back pocket and pull out $50 to tip the delivery guy. "Here you go, I'm so sorry about that. Drive safe, alright." I tell him as he hands me the food.
His eyes were still wide from the shock of Spencer shoving him. I take the food inside and kick the door closed. "What is up with you!" The next thing I knew, I am pushed against the door with Spencer's lips against mine. He sucks on my bottom lips angrily and pin both of my wrists with his hand.
The food drops to the floor and I tried to pull away from him but he follows my lips. My anger fades away with every kiss and my body eases under his touch. He pulls away from my lips with a faint pop and rests his forehead against mine.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. I care about you too much for my own good," "You know, everyone told me that this break wouldn't last long," "Guess they were right," Spencer said as he held the side of my face in his hand. He caressed my cheek with his thumb and pulls down on my bottom lip.
Without a second thought, I wrap my legs around his waist and his hands travel down to cup my ass. He presses a series of warm kisses on my lips and walks across the living room to get to the bedroom that he knows like the back of his hand.

Pretty Boy’s Pretty Girl
Warnings: plain old fluff
Word Count: 1.5k
-
“Spencer!!” Penelope calls as she opens the door to his apartment, Derek Morgan following closely behind.
“Pretty boy, where are you?” Derek sings. They look around his apartment but the doctor is nowhere to be found. It’s 11 in the morning and Spencer doesn’t usually sleep this late.
It was their day off and he was supposed to meet Penelope and Derek for breakfast an hour ago but never showed. He hasn’t been answering his phone which causes people in the FBI to worry a little more than the typical person.
They figured they would swing by to check on the young boy— just ensure he’s safe. It’s not like him to stand them up and it’s definitely not like him to forget.
They knock on his bedroom door before opening it to reveal their very special doctor friend laying on his bed, fast asleep. Not only is he laying on his bed, but he’s not alone.
Spencer is joined on his bed by a girl who his head rests on. Penelope gasps, “oh my god! Does boy wonder have a girlfriend?”
“Oh my god,” Derek laughs before flicking the light on in Spencer's room causing him to groan.
“Pretty boy!” Derek sings out to him. Spencer's head shoots up at the voice and he turns to the door.
“Morgan? What are you doing in my house?”
But before he could answer your eyes flutter open as you let out a yawn and stretch, “Spence, shut up.” You whine causing Derek and Penelope to laugh.
You freeze at the sound of laughs as you stare up at the man laying on top of you. He looks down at you with wide eyes.
“Does pretty boy have himself a pretty girl that we don’t know about?” Derek teases from his place behind Penelope in the doorway.
Spencer groans once again, “shut up! Let me be!” He lays his body flat on top of yours as if he was hiding you from them.
“Get off of me,” you giggle as you push him off and sit up. You run your fingers through your hair and throw it up in a bun to get it out of your face. You lean over to the side table and grab your glasses to place them on your face.
“Um, hi,” you say to the people standing in the doorway of your boyfriend's bedroom.
You heard your boyfriend call one of them Morgan, a name you immediately recognized as Derek Morgan. The man is practically your boyfriend’s best friend so of course, you know so much about him despite not knowing him. The other person you deduct to be Penelope, JJ, or Emily. Those are the three girls at the BAU and you know about them as well. By her outfit, you assume this is Penelope, Spencer has always told you she dresses fun.
“Morgan, Penelope, this is my girlfriend, y/n. Y/n, Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia.” Spencer says as he climbs out of bed and grabs a t-shirt from his drawer and slips it over his head.
“I can’t believe you have a girlfriend and you didn’t tell us!” Penelope says as she walks over to him and hits him with her purse.
“Ah geez! Stop it!” Spencer lifts his arms to shield himself from her, making you and Derek laugh. “What are you guys even doing here?”
“Oh no, does the pretty girl make you forgetful, Reid?” Derek asks. “The three of us were supposed to get breakfast,” he checks his watch, “over an hour ago.”
Spencer gasps as he checks his own watch before looking at you with wide eyes. “You were supposed to set the alarm! I told you I had to meet them!”
“You’re the one with the eidetic memory! You could’ve done it yourself, you’re a big boy.” You tease with a smile.
But Spencer shakes his head at you, “I fell asleep first!”
“Aw poor sleepy baby fell asleep and forgot to set his alarm,” you pout at him.
Spencer blushes at the pet name, knowing that his coworkers are there. They didn’t even know he had a girlfriend and now they’re listening to you call him baby. It makes him a little nervous but the nerves are quickly forgotten when he sees the pout wiped off your face and replaced by a smile.
The smile he fell in love with eight months ago.
“You know what? How about we let you and y/n get dressed and all four of us can get lunch?” Penelope says as she looks back at Derek who’s nodding in agreement.
Spencer looks wearily but Penelope speaks again before he gets a chance to speak, “please, Spencer! I wanna meet your girlfriend!”
“Yeah, c’mon, Spence! Please! You never let me meet your team,” you pout at him again.
He sighs, “fine!” You and Penelope cheer and he rolls his eyes.
“Okay, now get out so we can get dressed,” he says as he walks Penelope and Derek out of his room while they laugh. He closes the door behind them and turns to you.
“Are you sure you want to go?” He asks as he walks to the bed and grabs your hand, pulling you into his arms.
You press a kiss to his chest before returning the hug, “of course, baby, I’ve been wanting to meet your team, you know that.”
“Yeah but—“
“Spence, nothing’s gonna happen to me. I know you’re protective and it’s adorable. But don’t you think that if something was gonna happen it would’ve happened by now?” Your arms stay around his neck as you hang on him loosely.
Spencer wanted to keep you to himself. It seemed that every time something was going good in his life, something in his work world would destroy it. After a long time of hiding it, he finally shared this with you. He shared how his old girlfriend Maeve was killed in front of him, how he was kidnapped, and became addicted to dilaudid.
He was afraid these things would make you run away, run to safety. But you didn’t go anywhere. These things made you love him even more. He was the one who made you feel safe and you knew that if anything were to happen to you, Spencer would save you.
You weren’t worried. If anything, you had become more worried for his safety after hearing these things. You began to give him longer hugs before he left for a case and made sure you had more phone calls while he was gone. Sure it was scary, but the fear never outranked the love you had for the man in your arms.
His arms tighten around your waist as you mention it. “I don’t know, babe. I just wanna make sure you’re safe.”
“I know you do, Spence, and I love you for that, but we can’t stay hidden in this apartment forever. You can’t hide me from your life if you want me to be in it.” You press a quick kiss to his pout before wiggling out of his grip and walking over to his closet.
You hadn’t yet moved in with Spencer but you always had clothes in his closet. You’ll never forget the day you walked into his apartment to find him clearing out space in his closet so you could fit in some of your clothes. He claimed you should stop living out of a duffle bag when you came over. That was also the day he gave you a key to his apartment. It warmed your heart to see the doctor opening up his heart despite his fear of being hurt.
“You know I want to show you off,” he says as he watches you slip out of your clothes and into some clean ones. “I’m just afraid.”
“There’s nothing to be afraid of, baby. And there’s nothing you can do now; they know! Let’s just be happy,” you grab his hand and squeeze it, “alright?”
“Alright, alright. But you know they’re gonna tell the rest of the team and then you’re gonna be invited to all the hangouts,” he says as if that’s a bad thing.
You want to get to know the people Spencer spends all of his time with. Due to the fact that Spencer talks about them all the time, it feels like you already know them even though you have never met. You want to actually know them. You want to hear about their significant others and their children. You want to hear embarrassing stories they have about Spencer. You want them to know you as much as you want to know them.
“Why do you say that negatively? You don’t want me around?” You tease.
“Shut up, you know I always want you around.” He says with a smile and presses a kiss to your lips.
“Good. Because you’re stuck with me,” you grin up at him.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Bau meets the Jeffersonian
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Bones x Criminal Minds Crossover
Warnings: None
Word Count: 734
Spencer Reid Masterlist
“I’ve never seen anything like this.” Derek said in frustration, “It’s like the UnSub is mocking us, yet I don’t know what any of this means.” He sighed, throwing the file back onto the conference table.
Hotch and Rossi exchanged a knowing glance. Rossi sighed before saying, “I’ll call the Jeffersonian.” Getting up, he was already dialing while exiting the room.
“The Jeffersonian?” Emily asked in confusion, “What’s the Jeffersonian have to do with this case?”
“A person that we sometimes work with, in instances like these, works there.” Spencer replied with the giddy feeling already bubbling up inside him, a slight smile made it’s way across his face.
_____________________________________________________________
“Y/N.”
No response. You were currently, very interested in your phone, trying to find the song that you were looking for.
“Y/N.” The person tried again, growing impatient.
“Y/N!” This time the person tapped your shoulder, causing you to jump and whip around, while pulling out an ear bud.
“Rossi? What’re you doing here?” You asked in confusion, slightly tilting your head to the side.
“We need your help on a case. Hotch and Reid, are somewhere around here..” He let on, getting distracted by something in the distance.
Suddenly, someone came up behind you wrapping their arms around your waist, and pulled you to them, resting their face on your shoulder.
Rossi, turned around chuckling at the scene before, soon joined by Hotch.
“Hi, Dr. Reid.” You replied giggling.
“Hi, Y/N.”
“Okay, okay weirdos, now is not the time.”
Spencer unwrapped himself from you, joining the two men in front of you.
Before any of the men could say anything, an enthusiastic voice yelled, “King of the Lab!”
All three men turning their attention back to you, waiting for you to explain.
“Uh...Sorry about him.” Closing your eyes, you pinched the bridge of your nose before sighing, “King of the Lab is something we do...We usually, scream it when, we find out something that furthers the case...”
Hodgins, came bounding down the lab stairs joining you and the BAU agents.
“Y/N! Look what I found....Who’re your friends?” He asked skeptically.
“Hodgins, this is Dr. Spencer Reid, SSA David Rossi and SSA Aaron Hotchner.”
Hodgins was in the middle of shaking Rossi’s hand when the realization dawned on him, “Wait a minute. These are the BAU, people you’re always talking about...Right?” He asked turning to face you.
You didn’t bother answering him, instead you just gave him a glare.
“Ohhh! I see, THIS is the Dr. Reid you’re always going on about! Nice to meet you!”
“Shut up Hodgins!” You hissed in embarrassment.
Half turning to face the other part of the lab before he yelled, “Hey guys! Come here!”
“I hate you.”
“No, you don’t.”
“Yes I do.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Children, children please.” Booth said joining the group, “So these are your BAU buddies?”
“Yeah,” Hodgins replied for you, “This is Spencer Reid, you know, the one she’s always talking about.”
He was met with a group of your co-workers and friends saying, “Ohhhh.”
“Hodgins. Are you done now?” You asked your, face had turned a beet red, not daring to look up from your suddenly interested shoes.
————————————————————————
“Dr. Reid, mind if we have a minute?” Hodgins was join by Booth. Spencer nodded in agreement.
“Our dear Y/N, doesn’t need to hear a word about this conversation. Am I clear?” Hodgins gave Reid his best intimidating tone.
“Yes sir.”
“Don’t get break our, Y/N’s heart. Or we’ll break something of yours.”
—————————-—————————-———
“Honey, I’m home.” Spencer sounded as soon as he walked in through the door.
“Hi, babe. How was the rest of your day?” You asked making your way to him, to give him a kiss.
“It was good.”
“I’m sorry about Booth and Hodgins. They don’t mean any harm. They’re just protective.”
Laughing softly he responded, “I know. They love you, Y/N, as do I.” He replied, pulling you closer in for a hug.
He pulled away slightly deepening the kiss, while on hand was holding the back of your head, the other rested on your hip. Pulling away like nothing happened, he made his way to the couch, leaving you standing there with a smile plastered across your face, mindlessly playing with your engagement ring.

she’s the one
A little story I’m working on, you are Agent Monroe, and you think you might be catching feelings for a particular Doctor in the BAU.
A bit of a slow burner, part 1.
TW: Fluff, CM case talk, violence (in future chapters), and NOT cannon to the CM universe
I'd been working at Interpol for around two years, and just as I was about to get comfy, preparing for my first long term undercover mission, my boss Agent Perkins decided they needed me at the BAU, so a week later I walked into the open plan bullpen holding a cardboard box with my things. I stumbled down the short set of stairs trying not to drop the heavy box when a man approached me taking the box from my hands and tucking it easily under a toned bicep. 'You must be Agent Monroe?' He asked.
'Yeah!' I said brightly.
'I'm Agent Morgan.' He said with a cheeky grin. 'I'll introduce you to the team.' He lead me over the the group of desks in the centre of the room, dropping my box on the only empty one. Sitting at the desk beside mine was a woman with long dark hair, she was scribbling in a case file. I assumed the desk on the other side was Agent Morgan’s. Across from my desk a lanky guy sat in a swivel chair staring at me as he fiddled with a pen in his long fingers. I smiled raising my eyebrows and he quickly looked away, and I could see that he was blushing. At the desk beside the lanky guy's was another woman with blonde hair, she was talking furiously into a phone. Before Morgan could say anything Agent Hotchner beckoned me into his office up the stairs, and I quickly complied. 'Hello again Agent Hotchner.' I said politely.
'Nice to see you Agent Monroe.' Agent Hotchner began before reeling off a list of rules. He and Agent Rossi had picked me out of high school to work undercover for Interpol so I was used to his no-nonsense ways. 'And Hotch is fine.' His eyes sparkled with the closest resemblance of smile his stony face could muster before opening the door for me. 'Get to know the team a bit.' He ushered me out of his office so I was out on the landing. The huddle that had formed around Agent Morgans desk looked over at me guiltily and unceremoniously dispersed. 'For profilers they're not very inconspicuous.' Agent Rossi mused from behind me, making me smirk before entering Hotch's office. I walked down the stairs before I was intercepted by the blonde and the brunette. 'Hi, I'm JJ.' The blonde said with a grin.
'I'm Prentiss.' The brunette followed.
'As in, Emily Prentiss?' I asked surprised.
'Yeah, I heard you're from Interpol?' Prentiss replied.
'Yeah.'
'Is Perkin's still a hardass?' Prentiss asked.
'Yeah.'
We both laughed, as JJ lead us back to the desks. 'Agent Monroe these are Morgan and Dr Spencer Reid.'
Dr Reid was the lanky one, and he waved with a small smile that made me instinctively smile back. 'You can just call me Aud. Everyone does.'
'Okay Aud. Where are you from?' Morgan asked.
'I'm from a lot of places but my mum's Korean and my dad's white. I've lived virtually everywhere though.'
'You have a seemingly Australian accent which makes you part of the point zero, zero, zero three percent of the American population that have migrated from Australia.' Dr Reid randomly spouted.
I blinked. 'Do you just... have that information in your head.'
'He has an eidetic memory.' Morgan said rolling his eyes. 'Basically, he's a walking encyclopaedia.'
Dr Reid looked down bashfully, a half smirk on his face that made the pit of my stomach feel weird. I tried to settle the feeling by making myself a coffee in the small kitchenette, also because I hadn't been assigned anything to do yet. I wasn't sure why I was here. I wasn't a terrible Interpol agent. I'd help capture one of the most notorious drug lords in North America by posing as his girlfriend for a full month. I didn't have much longer to ponder as Morgan touched my arm, sidling in beside me. 'Wanna come to the bar after work You can get a lift with me and Reid, the whole team's coming.'
'Sure!' I said eagerly. I was always up for a drink. 'If I can back more drinks than you tonight you owe me 20 dollars.' I said bravely.
Morgan looked taken aback for a moment before a determined look settled on his face. 'Bet. I can just tell we're gonna be good friends.' We shook on it and I wandered back to my desk to sit and wait for a few more hours.
---
After about ten minutes I was bored again, and it was just me and Dr Reid left in the Bullpen. I strolled over and peered over his shoulder to see he was frowning at a hefty case file. 'What are you looking at?' I asked, bringing JJ's chair over and sitting down beside Reid.
'Nothing!' He said slamming the file closed and shoving it clumsily into a drawer, a photograph fluttering out and onto the floor. We both leant down to pick it up and our hands touched. I quickly pulled my hand away, and Reid shoved the photograph back into the drawer. 'S-sorry about that.' He stuttered, smoothing his hair behind his ears.
'S'allright. Confidentiality and that.'
He smiled up at me. 'How old are you?'
'23 this year.' I replied.
'Seriously! Im 24. You've beaten my record!' He said surprised. 'We're basically kids to everyone else.' He said leaning back in his chair.
'How long have you been here?'
'Not long, maybe a year or so.'
I nod. The conversation stills, and I have to stop myself from saying anything stupid to fill the sudden space. 'Can you help me with something?' Reid asked tentatively.
'Of course!' I said a little more eagerly than I would've liked. Reid removed a case file from the stack on his desk and rolled his chair over so I could bring mine in beside his at the desk. He opened it to reveal a series of pictures showing 6 different victims. There was no damage to the body but the glazed over eyes showed they were dead. 'There were high amounts of adrenaline in the toxicology report.' Reid nodded.
'What's suspicious? Could've been a heart attack.' I asked.
'That's what I thought...' We spent the next few hours theorising over the case until Morgan grabbed Reid from behind, scaring him. Morgan laughed as Reid batted him away annoyed. 'It's home time kids.' He said. Reid began shoving random things into his satchel and I grabbed my bag from my desk. 'Audrey!' I heard someone call. I turned around to see one of my friends from high school pull me into a tight hug. 'Penelope!' I gasped. 'Wha-'
'I'm the tech analyst here.' She said.
I hugged her again. 'Pen! Why didn't you say anything!'
'I wanted it to be a surprise!'
'Aww you silly chook.' I said warmly.
'C'mon guys!' Morgan called from the doorway. I got in the back of Morgan's car with Reid as Penelope got in the front and Morgan drove. Penelope and Morgan began to go on about some guy named Kevin as Reid picked at his argyle print woolen vest. 'So how did you find your first day at the BAU?'
'Pretty cruisy if I'm honest.'
'Trust me, it get's worse.' Reid said, but this smile wasn't joking, and it didn't quite reach his eyes.
'Well at least I've got some of the best to teach me.' I said with a smirk, nudging Reid's dress shoed foot with my own converse clad one. I nod at the book on his lap. 'Hemmingway?' I ask.
'Yeah.'
'You're planning on reading Hemmingway while you're at a bar?' I asked incredulously.
'Bars aren't really my thing...' Reid said raising his eyebrows and gesturing at himself.
'Aw sure they aren't, pretty girls and guys, drinks, dancing, there's something for everyone!'
Morgan laughed from the front. 'If you can get Reid to have one drink then I'll give you 10 dollars.'
'Added onto our original bet?' I asked.
'Of course because I'm going to win and there's no way you can get Reid to even have a sip of a drink.'
'Oh its on.' I responded.

Rest of My Life
Spencer’s Saturday nights weren’t spent like the nights of most other people he knew. Instead of checking out the new bar down JJ’s street, he decided to drive an hour to check out the bookstore that had just reopened after a month of renovation.
He used to go there with-you, before you...He shook those memories out of his head. It had been four years since you had walked out that door leaving him with nothing but the pain of losing the love of his life.
The sun seeped through the curtains directly onto Spencer’s eyes. He groaned as he rolled over to bury his face into your chest only to find the spot empty and cold.
“(Y/n)!” He called out, but no response.
He snuck into the kitchen lest you were making some pancakes as you often did.
He didn’t find you there either. Instead he found a carefully folded note resting on the kitchen table.
The front read “Spencer” in delicate cursive.
He carefully opened the note and tears formed in his eyes as he read its contents
“Spencer I love you so much and that’s why I have to go. I can’t tell you why but just know that it is for the best. Thank you for all of the memories you’ve given me. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the same about anyone else.”
This had to be some kind of joke. Any minute and the moment would arrive when you would pop in through the front door yelling “Gotcha!”
It never came. You never came back. Not later that night, not the next morning or week. He hadn’t seen you for four years. But that by no means meant that he had forgotten you. There were good days and bad. Some days he would spend hours just staring at the front door waiting for you to walk in with your smiling and bubbly personality.
Spencer was drawn out of his thoughts ,HONK,
The light had turned green. He placed his foot on the accelerator and put in a CD filled labelled “The Killers”, your favorite band. Soon he arrived at the bookstore. He walked in and saw that it was quite empty with the exception of the staff and some teenagers.
Huh he thought, I guess good old bookstores aren’t what they used to be.
He made his way to the classics and picked out a piece by Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet.
As he opened the book, he was yet again transported into the past
“Ugh. Seriously Spence? Romeo and Juliet?” (Y/n) teased.
“It’s one of the classic romantics. What’s wrong with it?” Spencer asked genuinely.
“Well for one, Juliet is basically being pursued by a man who could very well be in his late twenties. Two, they have zero lack of communication which is why three, they die making it a tragedy” you replied proud with your response.
“Okay, fine. What do you wanna do?” Spencer sighed in defeat. He had an arsenal of facts to prove you wrong, but from time to time you knew he’d let you win just to make you happy.
You smirked as you climbed into his lap and started to leave purple marks on his neck, ”Oh, I can think of a few things, Doctor”
He was yet again broken out of his trance as he felt something bump into him-no rather a someone.
“Ahhh” she yelled as she fell back. Still within seconds she stood up.
“Hey there” Spencer said with a gentleness he seldom showed anymore. “ Are you lost?”
The little girl looked up and nodded her head causing her pigtails to fly up and down.
“Well what’s your name?” Spencer asked,” I’m Spencer” he said crouching down and reaching his hand out.
“ Diana” she quietly said.
Spencer smiled with a warmth spreading in his chest at the familiarity of the name. “Well Diana, lets get you back to your mommy and daddy.”
“ I don’t have a daddy” she said,”Just mommy”
She cupped his face feeling the scruffy stubble and giggling,”Hey! I know you!”
Spencer raised his eyebrows in amusement, ”Really now?”
“Yeah! You’re the man from the picture in mommy’s room!” She said said with excitement.
It-it couldn’t be Spencer thought as he furrowed his eyebrows. Come to think of it she did look a little like (y/n) and her small nose was quite similar to his own.
“How-how old are you sweetie?” He asked afraid to hear the answer.
Just then Spencer heard a voice he could have sworn he knew. It has been four years but he could never forget that melodious sound.
“Diana! Diana!” You yelled frantic.
“Mommy!” Diana yelled as she ran over to you hugging your leg.
You bent down and hugged her tightly,”Don’t you ever do that again Diana. Mommy was so scared.”
As soon as the words left your mouth, you heard an audible gasp at the end of the aisle. You looked up to see a face that four years ago was your entire world.
“(Y/n)” he said, his eyes giving away his pain.
“Spencer” you breathed out not sure what to say.
“Diana!” your daughter said giggling.
“Look-I can explain...” you started.
Spencer cut you off,”Just tell me one thing.” he begged” Is she mine?”
“Spenc-“
“No (y/n)! Just answer the question!” he comanded careful not to yell as even though Diana was occupied with a toy she had pulled out of her backpack, she was still close.
Tears rolled down your face as you clenched your eyes shut giving Spencer his answer.
“Why- why didn’t you tell me” Spencer said coming closer, his tone softening at your disheveled state. “Is this why you left?”
You nodded as you continued to cry trying to stifle the sobs you felt coming up.
Once you calmed down, you took a deep breath and explained,” Spencer I had no choice. You told me you didn’t want children atleast not then. I knew you would drop everything to care for this child- for Diana if you’d found out. You didn’t ask for this”
“(Y/n), when I said that I didn’t know..”
“ I know Spence, it’s not your fault. I should have told you.” You said with more tears coming out.
“I wish you had. I-I can’t believe I have a daughter” he said with a smile spreading across his face as he realized, “You- you named her after my mom”
“Of course. I knew from the moment I found out it was a girl” you replied.
“Diana (Y/L/N)” he said still smiling,”It has a nice ring to it.”
“No.. actually it’s Diana Reid”
“What? She...she has my last name” Spencer asked filled with feeling even he couldn’t describe.
You nodded before he engulfed you in a hug holding you tightly as if you were going to disappear.
“Can I talk to her?” he asked breaking the hug.
“Of course Spencer. She’s your daughter.” You said feeling guilty of all the years you had kept her from him.
Both of you approached Diana who was still captivated by her stuffed animal.
“Hey Pumpkin, remember when you you asked me when you’d see daddy?”
Diana little face contorted into confusion and then excitement as she remembered. “Yeah!”
“Well he’s here” you said gesturing to Spencer.
“Daddy?” She questioned before her face lit up with joy and she exclaimed “Daddy!”
Her little arms flung around Spencer’s neck as he picked her up laughing.
“Come home (y/n)” he said after a while holding a now sleeping Diana against his chest.
“Both of you come home. The last four year have been absolute hell without you. Now that you’re back I don’t know how I could ever let you go again.”
“Spence- are you sure? I mean you don’t have to do that, we, Diana and I could visit or I mean just Diana. I don’t want to keep you daughter from you.” You said afraid he was still mad at you.
Your were surprised when Spencer took your free hand and said,” When I said both of you I meant it.”
You let out a sigh of relief as you squeezed his hand back. Hand in hand, you walked to your place which was only 10 minutes from the bookstore. You opened the door and showed Spencer Diana’s room so he could set her down.
As he did so, you set out two glasses of wine for the long night of catching up you had to do.
Soon, Spencer was back and you both took a seat on the couch, reminiscing the four years of time you had lost, laughing and crying in each other’s arms.
The laughter soon died down and Spencer looked at you for a while before he said,”You know the day you left? I was going to ask you to marry me”
“What?” You said choking on what must have been your third glass.
“I’d gone out with JJ and Emily the week before and picked out a ring and everything” he said with a sad smile overtaking his features.
He began again,”I don’t know if anything has changed for you over the four years but it hasn’t for me. You’re the only one I’ve thought of. If you still feel the same way you did (Y/N) marry me.”
“Spence- you don’t have to” you said.
“ I know” he said.”But I want to. You are the best thing to have ever happened to me and now that I’ve found you and Diana, you two are the only things I need in my life. I want to wake up next you every morning. I want to see Diana get older and scare off her first boyfriend”,he continued as you let out out a small chuckle along with some tears, “but most of all I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So (Y/F/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N), will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
The waterfall of tears you were holding back all came rushing out as you sobbed,”Yes! Yes! A million times yes!” Spencer wrapped you in a hug calming you down.
You wiped you tears and grabbed his face as you pulled him into a passionate kiss. Your lips still molded perfectly against his and it was as if nothing had changed.
Pulling apart you rested your forehead against his and smiled feeling like the luckiest woman in the world as you sat under one roof with your fiancé and your little bundle of joy.

Closet Relations - Spencer Reid
“OW! Move your elbow!” I hiss as Spencer and I jostle, having to jump in the tiny closet when the door of the possible UnSub’s house opened unexpectedly, “You’re squash-“ I’m oh so rudely cut off when a hand is slammed over my mouth, Spencer pulling me close as he looks over my head, through the small crack in the door.
I think I stop breathing for a few minutes when I feel the firm chest against my back and the oh so sweet and tangy scent of cinnamon that always surrounds Spencer filling all my senses. This is perfect… well, not being stuck in a small closet, but being so close to Spencer.
“It’s him,” Spencer whispers in my ear, breath ghosting my neck and making me tense, “He’s got the notebook Hotch mentioned.”
I let out a muffled sound as I try to speak under his hand but he surprisingly understands me, replying, “No, all those guns on the walls are loaded.”
“Oh.”
Yeah I guess charging guns blazing at this child kidnapping creep is not a great idea as his ammunition is greater than my FBI enforced gun and his revolver. I have no idea why Spencer uses revolvers and not the normal modern guns the rest of us have. However, I wouldn’t change it as it’s just so Spencer. Oh this man frustrates me.
No, not right now but all I can think about is Spencer’s body pressed against mine. How, if I turned around, my head would fit perfectly in the crook of his neck. No, no, no, not doing this right now. Not diving down that rabbit-
“Reach into my pocket and grab my phone, text Hotch.” Spencer snaps me out of my Spencer filled daydream and I realise that his hand is still over my mouth so I lightly nip at his palm until he understands, “Sorry.”
There’s not enough room to move around in here so I just blindly grope around for his pocket, freezing when he lets out a strangled sound and oh- “Oh my god! I’m so sorry!” I whisper shout realising what I grabbed instead and he has to slam a hand over my mouth again because apparently I really cannot be quiet. I move my hand to the left a bit more until I find his pocket, finding his ancient phone and sending a very jumbled message to Hotch hoping he can translate in time.
“Now what?” I muffle around his hand, fumbling to put his phone back without grabbing the very thing I would love to grab but in a different context.
“ We wait, there’s nothing we can do before the rest of the team arrives,” He mumbles, keeping his lips close to my ear. I have to shuffle in my stance slightly as my feet are starting to hurt and it suddenly hits me that Spencer’s other arm has been wrapped around my waist this whole time, keeping me from jostling with whatever is in this closet with us.
It must have been another ten minutes before the door busts open and I hear a very familiar voice yell, “FBI! Don’t move!” Before there’s a few thuds and groans and crashes before the door to the closet is being flung open.
JJ just stands there, eyes flicking between Spencer’s hand around my waist to his hand covering my mouth and the lack of distance between us before she says, “Spence, I think you can let Y/N go now.”
“Right, yeah.” It feels as if he’s reluctant to let me go when his arm unwinds from my waist so I just wait for JJ to walk away before finally facing the beet red Spencer. He just watches me, amber eyes full of question then surprise when I grab the collars of his shirt and yank him down into a sweet and awkward kiss.
“We should do this again.” I wink before racing to catch up with JJ and leaving him standing there, mouth open as he watches us leave.

Thunder and Coffee - Spencer Reid
Rainy days are the best, especially when it’s a quiet day in the bullpen. We’re all in except Matt who’s at home looking after his very pregnant wife and their five other children. Yeah, I know, they said five was the last but I guess accidents happen. It was rather quite funny when Matt almost fainted when Kirsty told him she was pregnant at the Christmas party.
I had done most of my paperwork at home so when the storm started I was already sitting back in my chair with a book on my lap. JJ and Luke of course are way behind as they decided to leave it until they really had to do it all while Spencer is still flicking through all the pages and writing notes.
I can’t help but watch Spencer as he sticks his tongue between his lips as he concentrates. His elegant fingers skim down the page as his cognac eyes read every single word and his head tilts slightly every time he reads something that isn’t quite right. It’s when there’a a clap of thunder I see why I’m drawn to watching Spencer - he flinches. Spencer’s shoulders raise slightly before he shakes it off and goes back to reading. Spencer Walter Reid is scared of thunder and that is adorable.
Climbing to my feet, I walk across the Bullpen to Spencer’s desk, brushing mu fingers over his arm as I ask “Coffee? Come with me?”
He glances out the window at the torrential rain and flashes of lights followed by the rumbling of thunder, “S-sure.”
He stands, grabbing his FBI rain jacket and an umbrella he seems to pull out of nowhere. He doesn’t hesitate when he grabs the fabric of my own FBI rain jacket as we make our way to the elevator, not letting go until we get out into the rain. He only drops his grip on me to put the umbrella up but he holds his arm open and of course I loop my own through his. The coffee shop is only a block or two away which is perfect and it does the best coffee in the world. There’s so much variety and the drinks there are always changing. I would live at this coffee shop if I could. “You’re drooling,” Spencer bumps me lightly, holding the door open for me. I just send him a pout, ducking inside and relishing in the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Pure bliss, “See.” A thumb swipes across my bottom lip, my eyes flying open to see Spencer chuckling as he’s now making his way to the counter. If you couldn’t see that very flaming red blush on his cheeks you would think he’s a pro at flirting but it’s Spencer. An IQ of 187 yet not able to form a pick up line.
“The usuals?” Ellie, the barista flashes us a smile as she sees us, “Just you two or everyone?”
“Expect Matt.” Spencer nods.
“No Matt?”
“At home with the kids.” I inform her and she laughs as she’s had the pleasure of meeting all the little Matts and Kirstys when Matt had to babysit one day so brought them to the cafe.
Ellie’s one of the sweetest people I know, probably no older than 23 and can bring a smile to anyones faces. I always come by the family owned cafe, especially after a particularly rough case. Ellie and her brother, Teddy, are aways there to welcome us and cheer us up, knowing how hard the job can be.
“Hey, you’re in your head again,” Spencer grabs my hand, pulling me closer to him. I’ve never known how Spencer does it but he can always get me out of my mind which can be annoying but on quiet days like this it’s just what I need to stop the pats cases haunting me.
“You’re drinks,” Ellie puts them in two bags, all seven drinks, “Enjoy!”
“Thanks Ellie,” We call as we make our way back into the stormy weather.
The umbrella gives me a reason to press myself against Spencer’s side and he doesn’t even question it, holding me close as we walk the last block back to the FBI Building. He doesn’t even let me go when we’re in the elevator, keeping my hand in his instead of just walking close to me.
“Oh please tell me that’s coffee from Bakers.” JJ looks up as we walk back in, eyes flicking from the bags to our linked hands before she gains a knowing smile. She doesn’t address it and just calls for Emily to come get coffee. Before long all seven of us are sat and stood around mine and Spencer’s desks, drinking coffee and eating the sweet treats Ellie snuck in the bags. Spencer’s sat in his chair; I’m perched on his desk, Luke has stolen my seat with a smug smirk while JJ, Emily, Rossi, Penny and Tara are stood somewhere between.
I don’t think twice about grabbing Spencer’s hand when he jumps slightly at the next clap of thunder. I just continue the conversation I was having with JJ about Marvel Movies as I trace small shapes over the back of his hand, knowing her eyes keep flicking down to our hands.
“Oh my god, date already!” Luke groans, drawing attention to us.
“Date?” Spencer chokes out.
“I’ll pick you up at seven.” I grin down at him and I think everyone lets out a sigh of relief.
“Back to work.” Emily speaks up before any of the team can start teasing us and I guess rainy days just got a whole lot better.

Momma Mia Part Two
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Word Count: 469
Warning: None.
Summary: Once the Unsub exposes the readers secret, the team must race against time to keep her safe.
Spencer Reid Masterlist
“I see you haven’t told them yet.” He said with a sly smile on his face.
Fear coursed through your veins, suddenly starting to shake in fear.
“Get her out of there.” Hotch suddenly said in the ear piece.
“We’re done for now.” Morgan said, as you both stood up heading towards the door.
“Miss Y/L/N, don’t forget I have eyes everywhere.” The unsub taunted.
You and Morgan had turned to face the Unsub. Morgan placed his hand on your forearm protectively.
Leaving the interrogation room, you were met with confused faces.
“This isn’t exactly how I wanted to tell you.” Nervousness replaced your fear. Your hands started to sweat as you adjusted your collar. “I’m....I’m pregnant..”
Letting out a shaky breath, the weight lifted from your shoulders.
“Go back to the hotel Y/L/N. Reid, go with her for protection. Morgan and Rossi, go back to interrogating the unsub.” Hotch said leaving you standing their the other men.
An awkward silence fell over the group, before everyone went their separate ways. The ride back to the hotel was silent, occasionally you glanced at Spencer. He didn’t look at you once during the drive. You jumped out of the car once, he was parked not bothering to hear him out. As you opened your hotel room, you rushed inside shutting the door promptly. Tears started pooling in your eyes. Curling up on the hotel bed, you let the tears stream down your face as sleep over whelmed you.
You woke up to the sound of a knock on your door. Opening it, the guys were waiting outside the door. Stepping aside, you allowed them to go in.
“Is there anyone you’ve told about this? Anyone at all?” Rossi questioned, his voice laced with concern.
“The only person who knows is Penelope.” You frowned.
“Hotch.” Morgan hesitated. “It’s gotta be the doctor.” He said gesturing as he talked.
“What’s the name of your doctor, Y/N?” Hotch questioned.
“Doctor Connor. Why?” You asked confused.
Hotch pulled his phone calling Garcia checking to see if there is a real doctor with that name. Shortly after Hotch left, Rossi and Morgan left as well, leaving you and Spencer alone.
Spencer cleared his throat.
“You don’t have to stay here.” You snapped. “I don’t expect you to.”
The overwhelming feeling of wanting to push him away washed over you. You’ve been on dates with him, but he hasn’t made his move nor has he tried to ask you to be his girlfriend.
“Don’t push me away.” Spencer tried softly. “I...I uhm...I want to be here for you and...the baby.”
Lifting your gaze to his face, his hands were shoved into the front of his pants nervously bouncing on his feet. Taking a step closer he continued, “I..I want to be with you and the baby...”

Better Than Me (Spencer Reid)
Y/N notices that her boyfriend, Spencer Reid, is spending a lot of time with Alex Blake. She begins to think that he has feels for Blake and confronts him about it.
--
"What have you heard about the new recruit?" Garcia asks. "I haven't heard anything about her, baby girl. But I'm assuming you know most of it." Morgan states as he takes a sip of his coffee. Morgan, JJ, Garcia are conversing near the glass doors of the BAU.
Which is probably a bad idea considering she could walk in and hear them at any given moment. But Garcia is eager to know who this recruit was. Reid walks in with his messenger bag and has two cups of coffee in his hands.
As soon as his eyes meet Y/N, a small smile tugs at his lips. In a few strides, he is by her side. "Good morning, baby," he states as he presses a kiss on her temple.
He hands her a cup of coffee and she says, "Good morning." "I wish I could kiss you right now," he whispers into her ear. "And what's stopping you?" "You know what," he says, his eyes narrowing into hers.
The rest of the team goes quiet and her cheeks redden because she thought that they overheard her and Reid's conversation. She look to the group to see that they were looking at the recruit. She looks like she is in the late 30's and attractive.
"She's standing right behind me, isn't she? We're doing this whole thing again?" Garcia asks. Y/N gives her a single nod and she slowly turns around to see the new recruit. She dashes out of her prescene and goes back to her office.
The rest of the team besides Y/N and Derek leaves. "Derek Morgan, it's nice to meet you." Derek greets with a handshake. "Blake, nice to meet you." "Hi, I'm Y/N Y/L/N," Y/N state as she shakes Blake's hand. "Meet at the round table in 10," Hotch announces.
Y/N walks to her desk to see Reid leaning against it. "Did Garcia just run away from Blake?" he asks. "Yes, she did." Y/N says with a chuckle. "She wasn't like that with me was she?" "Barely, she loved you before she even met you. Just like I did," he states as he slowly links his hand with hers.
A few weeks later, Y/N has been noticing Reid spending more time with Blake. She understand that it's nice to have someone who is on the same wave length with you. That was how it was with her and Hotch until Rossi got in the picture.
She's trying not to let it get to her because she know that Reid cares for her, but there's a small voice in her head that thinks, "What if he wants to be with her instead of me?" Morgan noticing that there was something wrong almost immediately.
"Hey, you okay?" Morgan says, nudging her arm softly. "Fine," "I knew it," "Huh? Knew what?" "You aren't okay with Reid spending so much time with Blake,". There was a moment of silence before she says, "I'm definitely questioning, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted a break,"
"Whoa, slow your roll there sweetheart." "Reid loves you, Y/N. I've seen his eyes sparkle when someone just mentions your name." he adds.
"Yeah," she say softly as she rubs the back of her neck. "Alright, let's go for a little ride." he says, standing from his chair. "What, no, we have to stay here to piece things together."
"And we can't do that with your heads in the clouds, come on." she hesitantly rise from her chair and follow him out of the room. "Hey, is everything okay?" Blake asks and Reid's eyes fall to Y/N. Y/N tries not to make eye contact with him.
"Yeah, just need to get some air." She takes a step to follow Morgan and Reid holds her back by her hand. "Hey," he says softly. "You have the crease on the side of your eyes. That happens when you are too deep in thought, what happened?" he adds.
"Nothing, Reid. I just don't feel well," Y/N explains. He looks into her eyes for a moment to detect any tells that she's lying. "I'll be here when you're ready to talk," he says as he presses a kiss on the corner of her mouth.
He pulls away from her to walk into the conference room with Blake. She sighs and immediately miss his warmth. "Still think he wants Blake?" Morgan asks. "Let's go," I say, taking lead. Later that night, Reid drives Y/N home in hopes of her telling him what was wrong.
"Please tell me what's wrong?" "There's nothing wrong, Reid." "Are you trying to convince me or yourself?" he asks. "It's just.. when were you going to tell me?" "Tell you what?" "That you have feelings for Blake," "What?" Reid says in pure disbelief.
"I understand why, she's pretty and closer to your level of intelligence than any of us. I'm not entirely mad about it, i just wish you-" "Stop, just stop, Y/N. What? Where is this coming from?" Y/N notices that Reid speeds up a little. "Why else would spend so much time with her?"
"I see Blake as a friend and only as a friend," "Why?" The next thing that Y/N knows, they are pulling up into Y/N's driveway. "Because I already have a girlfriend that I deeply care about." He holds Y/N's hands into his and caresses the top of them with his thumbs.
"Baby, I went through all the obstacles that you sent my way so that I could earn your trust. I wouldn't do anything to question that, okay? I promise." he adds. "I'm giving you a way out Reid," Y/N says as she pulls away from him.
She gets out of the car and advances to her front door. Reid gets out of the car to say, "I know that it's easier for you to let go than to stay and allow yourself to be vulnerable, but you're not the only one being vulnerable here." Reid says, making Y/N stop in her tracks.
She faces him and he was few feet away from her. "I'm so sorry, Reid. Oh my God." Before she could say another word, Reid engulfs her in a hug. He cups the back of her head as his other arms snakes around her waist.
"I'm sorry that I made you question our relationship," "Don't blame yourself for my insecurities." Y/N says against his neck. "Come on, let's have a movie night." he suggests as he pulls away from her a little.
Y/N doesn't say or do anything because she getting lost in her own thoughts. "Baby?" He adds, caressing her cheek with his thumb. Tears prick her eyes and Reid's heart sinks in his chest.
"I'm so sorry," she says between sobs. "There's nothing for you to be sorry about," he reassures, but there's not much that can get through to her when she gets lost in her own thoughts.
He takes her hand and walks to the front door. He searches for the spare key and uses it to open her door. He walks her inside and has her stand by the couch. He knew exactly what to do to cheer her up. He takes a few steps back and rushes towards Y/N. He ducks his head and wraps his arms around her to tackle her into the couch.
A yelp escapes her lips as her back comes into the contact with the couch. Reid presses many kisses all over her face and lips, making her giggle. She turns her face away and he continues to kiss her cheek and neck as he pins her arms down.
He finally pulls away from her and they look at each other with big smiles on their faces. "Thank you," she says. He captures her lips in a slow, loving kiss. "Any time, pumpkin."

Shenanigans
You and Spencer had been friends for almost 7 years now. He was there for you through everything. When your first boyfriend cheated on you, when you got your first dog, and when your mom died. You two were closer than a married couple.
But you were more than sure that he saw you as nothing more than a friend, “a sister” he’d said once when you two were joking around with JJ.
You got over the small crush you had on him quite shortly after that( or atleast you think you did). It was better this way. You two had an amazing friendship that you were not about to ruin due to some small insignificant feelings. That was three years ago. And everything slowly returned to normal.
Today was Friday night which meant Spencer was due for the Doctor Who marathon you two had been planning for weeks.
7:30
Spence still wasn’t due for another 30 minutes and so you started to fold some laundry when you were interrupted by the doorbell. You dropped the red thong you were working on as you went to go answer the door.”
Spence walked in and yelled, ”Honey! I’m home!”
You giggled as you pushed him with your hand.
You proceeded to close the door and when you turned around you screamed,” SPENCER!”
The tall lanky man had taken up the entire couch and blanket leaving you with no space or material for warmth.
You went over and shook him as hard as you could only receiving a small smirk coupled with loud exaggerated snores.
“Spencer Fucking Reid! You will get your ass up from this couch and return me to my rightful cushion!”
Still. No. Response.
Okay then. Two can play that game.
You mischievously eyed the tall glass of water on the table next to the couch and quietly made your way to Spencer who was still expelling unnecessary snores from his cute little nose. Ugh had you really just thought that? You shook your head ridding it of thoughts of his little nose on which his glasses rested perfectly.
You returned to your current mission and smiling victoriously you poured the entire glass on his face.
“AHHH! (Y/N)!!! You are so gonna pay for this!!, Spencer yelled as he wiped the moisture from his face.
Squealing, you ran into your room with Spencer right behind you. You got inside and pushed against the door with all of your weight. Alas, it wasn’t enough as Spencer quickly overpowered you and entered the room.
You slowly backed up,” Spence, look we can talk about this right? There’s no need for violence, right??”
He looked up in contemplation for a second before the glint in his eyes returned and he smirked, “Wrong.”
Your legs reached the edge of the bed and You had nowhere to run.
Spencer kept coming closer and before you tried to warn him”Spe-“ Your neatly folded pile of underwear toppled to the ground as Spencer tripped over and fell onto the bed with you right under him.
You closed your eyes to brace for the impact. But nothing. Slowly to opened one and then the other to find Spencer Reid’s face no more than two inches away from your own.
As you looked into his eyes, you saw something you hadn’t before. A fire.
He stole some not so discreet glances at your lips silently asking for permission. You closed your eyes once again and parted you lips providing him the answer he needed.
Spencer’s sweet lips met yours as he placed his hands on your arms and every inch of skin he touched burned. You returned the kiss and were about to let your hand roam loose in his curls when you lightly pushed him off signaling him to stop.
Confusion and then worry washed over his face,”(Y/n), I am so sorry, I shouldn’t have done that- Really I had no clue what I was thinking- uhm I should go.”
You wanted to tell him “No, stay”, but couldn’t as your eyes failed to meet his, pieces of what had just happened digging up the feelings you had long buried- or atleast had tried to.
Spencer lifted himself off of you and cleared his throat as he pushed his hair out of his face and began to walk away when suddenly he stopped.
“(Y/n)”
You looked up to meet his hazel eyes, scared he would end your friendship right then and there.
“You kisssed me back”
“Huh?” you responded flabbergasted.
You kissed me back, “ He said for a second time except slower, “and you wouldn’t have done so unless you feel the same way I felt when I met you in high school.”
Now you were really shocked.
“You-you liked me?” You managed to choke out.
“No. I like you.” He said with a surge of confidence.
“But..but.. you said I was like a sister to you that one time when JJ said joked that she could see us getting together” you cautiously said ready for Spencer to reveal he was just messing around with you.
“(Y/n), why do you think she said that in the first place? All I could think about at work was you and so I told her how much I liked you and that basically how the whole team found out. I only said that because I was scared that things would get weird because...you know I liked you but you just saw us as friends.” He said playing with his thumbs.
“Are you crazy Spence? Of course I liked- like you! I just thought you didn’t like me that way and I didn’t want to lose you”
Closing the distance between you two he said,” (y/n) you’d never lose me. I quite literally have been taken by you since the day we met.”
“Wow for being profilers, we sure suck at our jobs.” You laughed
“Here, I’ll give you another shot” Spencer said with a smirk playing on his pink lips. “Profile this.” Before you knew it his soft lips were back on yours and this time you let your hand freely in his hair tugging as your tongues fought for control.
You smiled as you two broke apart for some air.
“Now lets get on with that Dr. Who marathon!” Spence said the radiance of his beaming smile matching your own.
He held your hand as he led you out of the room.
“And (y/n)?” Spence said with his infamous smirk creeping up yet again.
You looked at him as he reached down slowly to your rug to pick something up.
“Cute underwear”
