Today (27 september) AFYCSO (a fever you can't sweat out) is celebrating its 19th anniversary!

First of all, how could you not be enchanted by P!ATD at the beginning of their era? Just watching their recorded shows made me think: "Man, this is amazing!" The feeling of one of their shows is simply magical, a play is happening right there in front of you, with characters interacting with the audience, costumes changing, the interactions on stage between the members, the scenery, everything is done to keep you hypnotized. For me, all the magic transmitted, all the presence on stage, was jaw-dropping. Now the lyrics, another thing that impressed me. I admire Ryan Ross immensely, for me he is an impeccable lyricist. With themes that are definitely mature and personal about his life. It's crazy to think that when he was an 18 year old teenager, he wrote lyrics with such complex themes with a certain kind of maturity that I wouldn't expect an 18 person have. Lyrics like "camisado", "nails from breakfast...", "london beckoned...", and others. The way Ross approaches mental health, his abusive father or even sex was admirable (he was also inspired by the works of writer Chuck Palahniuk). Even with themes considered sensitive, his lightness, eccentricity and youthful savagery were not left aside. I always thought that p!atd was very good in terms of its lyrics and compositions.

The feeling of hearing this album for the first time was unmistakable, as if you were tuning into an old radio - and that's exactly how it's initially presented! The feeling of being in a circus, a crazy show, as if you were in several different decades. The way they play with the instruments creating a fantastic harmony, a typical sound that only Panic at the Disco can do. No instrument is left behind, everything has to be in harmony and inclusion. Impeccable lyrics, musically splendid - stories, symbolism and comical, sarcastic, raw and obvious criticisms.

There isn't a song that I don't like. Even though I think the album is amazing, it's not my favorite from the band. Pretty Odd is even better in my opinion.
