Our Life-Long Path
The reader and her family live on a neighbouring ranch and the readers family and the duttons often help each other out. Reader and Spencer have always been kinda sweet on each through their years and very clearly obviously loved each other. He goes to see the reader to tell her he’s being drafted, and that’s when they “ share a night of passion “
Note - this request is rather long and will have a few parts to it so stay tuned 😉

Curled up in front of the burning fireplace inside my family’s living room I had a good book sat on my legs. Snuggled up underneath one of the warm blankets while the cold and harsh winter winds blew outside the windows. Currently my parents were over at our friend's ranch that belonged to the Dutton’s. They were helping them get their herd to safety before the winter storm got worse.
Hearing a loud knock on the front door I jumped dropping my book onto the wooden floor not expecting anyone to be coming to see me when a harsh storm was heading for our part of Montana. The person knocked a few more times but I didn’t move from my spot till I heard a familiar deep voice call out my name. “Y/n! Y/n, it’s me Spencer.”
“What in god's name are you doing here so late. Didn’t your aunt tell you about the storm coming?” Unlocking the door once I had gotten up from the couch I allowed him inside seeing his clothes were nearly completely covered in snow.
He removed his boots knowing my mother hated tracking in snow and mud across the lodge. “I needed to see you. It’s too important than how mad my aunt will be angry with me about going out into a storm.”
“What could be so important that you’d risk your life for me in the freezing cold?” I asked my life long best friend who I knew like the back of my hand. For you see Spencer and I have been attached at the other's hip from the moment we could walk. My friends have been telling me for years that I needed to just marry and take his last name already.
He reached inside his jacket pocket revealing a letter that he extended out to me. “Read it, Y/n.”
“Spencer Dutton, the federal government has declared that your name has been drawn from the service draft and it is decided you offer your services and fight in the World War our nation faces.” Nearly dropping the paper from my hands I felt tears welling in my eyes at the thought of everything that the letter meant. This war has been long and harsh on everyone and now he could be one of the soldiers that die at its hands. “They drafted you. You - you can’t go fight.”
Spencer sent me a weak look telling me he didn’t want to go even though those weren’t the words that left his mouth. “I don’t have a choice, darling.”
“You can’t go - you can’t die before I get to tell you how I feel.” I clutched the paper in my hands, beginning to cry in front of him.
The Dutton man stared down at me closing the gap between us and crashed his lips down onto mine. I gasped, taken back by his forwardness, feeling my mind going to mush now only able to focus on how good it felt to kiss him. I truly had only ever imagined what it would feel like to kiss him, what it would be to be his wife, what it would be like to have his kids and raise them the way we have been raised on our family ranches.
Moving my hands up his chest my fingers threatened the fabric of his shirt bringing him closer. Spencer wrapped one arm around my waist, breaking the kiss and reconnecting our lips for another heated kiss until we needed air where I nearly felt like I couldn’t catch my breath.
“I love you too. I always have.” He declares meeting my gaze, resting his hands on my hips.
I giggled up at him. “You didn’t know that was what I was going to say.”
“I can tell by the way you kiss that’s how you feel.” Spencer points out with a smirk on his lips as he tugs me against his body more. “If you want me to stop right now I will. Just say the word and I will stop.”
Wrapping my arms around his neck I guided his lips down to meet mine once more. “For years I’ve attempted to push my feelings for you away, thinking you wouldn’t feel the same. But now that I know you do and I may lose you to this terrible war I don’t want to stop. I’d keep you here if I could so we can start our life together, Spencer Dutton.”
“I’d make you my wife and give you my last name right here and now if I didn’t have to go.” He rested his forehead down on mine and I sniffed through some tears before he wiped them away with his thumbs. He blinked his eyes briefly, changing his tone altogether. “To hell with that. If this is my one chance to call you mine I’m taking it.”
“Let me be yours tonight, Spencer.” I responded to him, grinning the biggest smile I ever had in my life.
I let out a yelp when he lifted me into his arms, I wrapped my arms around him and pressed my lips against his. He kissed me back passionately and he ran down the hallway to my bedroom. Kicking open the door, he walked towards the bed and dropped me down to the bed. My back hit the soft silk sheets before I rose up from the bed staring at him softly. Spencer teasingly removed his shirt crawling back onto the bed and hovered over me. My hands started to trace his bare chest, I began to run his fingers up and down his muscular chest softly while I began to feel his hand start to crawl underneath my shirt. He yanked my shirt off my head, throwing it to the ground only once breaking the kiss.
“Are you still okay with this, Y/n?” We had removed the rest of our clothes and were as close as we could be to each other but he didn’t move before asking me.
“Yes, I’m sure.” Within moments I felt the pain suddenly vanish and began to feel pleasure. I began to move against him and leaned up pressing my lips down upon his. He embraced me back instantly when my fingers dug into his back.
He ran his body over every inch of my body he could reach, both of us slick with sweat as he moved against one another, our pants and moans filling the room. “I love you, Y/n.”
“I love you too.” I whispered when we were finished and simply fell asleep in my bed holding onto the other for dear life. Unaware of how our lives would change from that night on.
Two months later
Walking into the living room of my parents lodge they were both sitting on the couch waiting for me to tell the, the news I said that I needed to share with them immediately. Clasping my hands together in front of my chest I released a heavy breath saying the words quickly rather than dragging them out. “I’m pregnant.”
“What!” My father jumped up from his spot beside my mother on the couch.
My mother slowly rose from her spot walking up to me and gently taking hold of my hands in hers. “Who’s the father? Why didn’t you tell us you were getting married to someone?”
“I’m not married to the baby’s father, mother. He was drafted for the war. It’s - Spencer is the father.”
My mother took a few steps back and removed my hands from hers with a scowl on her face. “You bear a child out of wedlock. I thought - how dare you we taught you better than this.”
“I didn’t know it was that easy to get pregnant the first time. Aunt Lana didn’t have a child until two years after you had me - gah!” Grabbing my cheek it burned from the harsh slap my father had gave me while I collapsed down onto my knees on the wooden floor.
My father shouted down at me making me start sobbing at the reaction of my parents. I didn’t think they would throw me out in such a time of need. “You are no longer my daughter. Since you’ve decided to keep that bastard I suggest you go to your new family cause I won’t have you and that baby under my roof!”
“Daddy. Mama please!” I begged them but neither of them lost the disappointing looks on their faces.
My mother crossed her arms over her chest and stomped up the stairs telling me I should go silently. Gathering my things I grabbed my horse from the barn and made the journey across the small valley to the Dutton ranch. Making my way up the stairs I knocked on the door lightly crying as I saw Cara Dutton open the door and greet me. “Y/n - oh dear come inside. What ails you child?”
“My parents have disowned me. I didn’t - I didn’t know where else to go but here.” I sniffed stepping through the front door with my suitcase.
She brushed hair out of my eyes asking calmly. “Why would they disown you, child?”
“I’m pregnant.” She didn’t say a word already knowing who it could be and immediately helped me set up a room in the house.
Exiting the barn I heard someone running over to me and I was nearly tackled to the dirt by a familiar bundle of dark brown hair and a sweet giggle that could only belong to my three year old daughter Helen Dutton. “Ohhh careful little lady. I ain’t as quick reflective as you are anymore.”
“There’s a stranger coming over here and he has a woman with him. I don’t know who he is, mama.” She explained to me with fear in her voice where I scooped her up in my arms.
Kissing her forehead I walked us over to the end of the barn but sharply halted in my tracks coming face to face with someone I hadn’t seen in years. “Spencer!”
“Y/n, what are you doing here?” He asked me while I eyed him up and down seeing a blonde woman hanging on his arm that I didn’t recognize.
Helen tugged on my shirt nuzzling her head into my neck trying to hide from the man. “Mama, who is he?”
“Spencer, I - I thought you were never coming back here. Who - who is the blonde with you?” Blinking my eyes I felt so many emotions running through my mind. I wanted to run into his arms and tell him that he had a daughter since he clearly didn’t know. But I also wanted to kick his ass for bringing another woman home when he said that he loved me.
The blonde separated herself from my childhood lover and extended her hand introducing herself. “I’m Alexander, his fiancé and you are?” Shifting my gaze over to Spencer I glared at him, unsure of what to say to him next.
Did he deserve to know he had a daughter with me now or not?

Spencer Dutton is finally back in my life, and I was screaming internally because more than once during the episode, I said what he would say before he said it. My mom accused me of having already watched the episode. Whoops. Sorry that I understand this man entirely because I've been roleplaying him since the last season ended.

I as always fo not own this picture
Warnings: smut obvi why y'all come here for, having the ranch hands watch as he ploughs his wife cause he's jealous man mother fucker is a dirty man as always you're in charge with what you consume of content
Spencer Dutton is a jealous man he hates when men flirt with HIS wife. She's his she married him she is HIS and his alone. One day he catches some of the ranch hands flirting with her she's not flirting back she looks uncomfortable if anything epically since their two kids are right there and can hear their very crude and inappropriate comments about her. So he decides to do something. The next morning before the kids are up they're outside says he wants to watch the sunrise with her on the front porch ok anytime with him she can get she will take. As the sun is coming up he pulls her into his lap and smashes his lips to hers knowing the ranch hands are getting up he wants to show who she belongs to. He pulls her dress up and to his surprise she's not wearing a stitch of clothing underneath. "You were hoping I'd get handsy weren't you?" He asked smirking at her as he slowly dragged his long fingers through her folds teasing her. "Maybe I'm ready for baby number 3." She said as she moaned as he pinched her clit. Hearing her say baby number 3 made his cock twitch in his trousers. Out of the corner of his eye he could see the ranch hands he quickly un did his trousers taking himself out and pumping himself a couple of times before moving her and having her sink down on him. Her head fell back eyes screwed shut from pleasure he filled her perfectly. He slowly started to bounce her looking at the ranch hands as he drove his hips up hitting the spot that he knew made her see star and made her scream and she did. "FUCK SPENCE." She yell moaned as he continued to drive into her eyes half lidded and cross eyed as how good it felt her hands grabbing onto whatever part she could of him with how hard he was going. She was a moaning mess as he drove himself into her growling as he looked over again smirk on his face as he moved his face to her neck and bite down to leave a mark which made her gasp and cling to him more. "Such a good girl for me my good girl I want you to cum for me let this whole fucking ranch know who you belong too my sweet wife." He rumbled in her ear as one hand moved down under her dress fully to rub her clit and after 2 swipes of his thumb she was shaking her pussy clamping down on his cock as her body shook and she screamed his name as she came. He trusted a couple more times before slamming his hips hard into her moaning her name as he shot his seed deep inside her he looked over at the ranch hands as she collapsed on him panting and all sweaty. "Did you enjoy your little show of dominance?" She teased knowing exactly what he was doing. "You have no fucking idea MY wife." He purred in her ear kissing her head.
Thanks for reading :)

keep the wolves away - spencer dutton

summary - spencer is quite famous with the british girls on safari, you not so much
word count - 1.1k
after some excited responses to my addition of him into my yellowstone boys series, i am delving into the world of spencer dutton! i'm excited, idk if you are, but i am :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
following spencer dutton around africa was not on your bingo card for the last couple years after the war ended, but you wouldn't say it wasn't on your bucket list. you enjoyed spending time with him and the guides that led y'all from camp to camp, becoming genuine friends with them all. you enjoyed the scenery and excitement that came from tracking down dangerous predators. you even enjoyed the reputation spencer started to get from it all - you saw it as recognition for his skills and efforts, an idea of how manly and impressive and dangerous he was that was a relatively true reflection of him as a person.
what you didn't enjoy was the fanbase that came from it.
whenever you ended up back in a city, or at a bar, or even at camp sometimes, there were girls whispering in the corner as they made goo-goo eyes at your husband. apparently, the tales of spencer dutton did not include the fact that he had a beautiful, faithful, and very protective wife who went with him everywhere. nope, you must've just been another girl fawning over him as you sat by him.
"come on," spencer sighed after you got off the train, holding you close by the waist. "let's get a drink."
"shouldn't we find our guides?" you asked.
"no, the guy who hired me 's bringing them to the site. he'll meet us at the bar in a few," he answered. "and frankly, i'm needing a drink right now."
"we just got off the train," you laughed. he stopped, staring down at you as a slow smile starting pulling at the side of his mouth.
"do you not want to get a drink with me? am i getting turned down by my own wife?" he wondered.
"no," you said, rolling your eyes as you laughed again. "i just know there will be women there fawning over you and i'm not in the mood for that."
"and how do you know that?"
"it always happens!"
"does not."
"oh, it does and you know it."
"like, every other time."
"well, this is the other, so either way we're screwed."
"no, that's happening later tonight," he said, winking as you laughed loudly, slapping him in the shoulder.
"spencer, you can't say those things out loud," you said.
he pulled you closer to him, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before continuing in a lower tone. "well, if i can't say it out loud, how are you supposed to know i'm thinking it?"
"trust me, cowboy, i know you're thinking it," you assured with a light laugh. you pulled back enough to grab his hand, leaning up to kiss his lips quickly before backing towards where you knew the bar for tourists wasn't too far off. "come on, let's get you that drink."
he laughed and followed you.
soon enough, you were sat at the bar next to one another, each with a classic american whiskey in hand - a little taste of home, you always said to the bartender when you ordered it. he always still looked at you odd, since most ladies didn't get such strong drinks, but fetched it for you nonetheless.
you were making easy conversation as you drank slowly, laughing as he glanced over at you with a fond smile. soon enough, your calm and comfortable time came to an end, and your earlier prediction came true.
"we know you!" a curly-haired brunette said excitedly as her and her four friends approached spencer. you sipped on your whiskey, not looking over to see spencer's inevitable thin smile and nod. ever the polite one. "you're spencer dutton!"
a different girl continued, her voice much higher than the first's.
"we've heard so much about you. all those people you protected, lions you killed. we heard you're going after a leopard now."
"yes i am."
there was a collective gasp followed by five giggles.
"you're american." the third girl was practically swooning and when you glanced over at them, she was holding her hands in front of her like she was about to pray.
"yeah, isn't it cute?" you asked, shooting them a smile before glancing at spencer again. he turned to you with a raise of his brows, a small smile pulling at one side of his lips.
the girls seemed surprised you chose to chime in. "and so are you..."
"surprising how many americans are on this trip, huh?" you said, setting your face in your palm as you leaned against the bartop.
they all looked at each other, the girl with the overly high-pitched voice nodding slowly and humming an uncertain, "yes."
"especially one's from montana," you continued, tilting your head at them as spencer leaned back in his chair, shaking his head with an amused smile.
"montana?"
"one of the states out west, in the mountains. that's where we're from. family's got a cattle ranch out there," you answered simply, sitting back in your chair casually and fiddling with your wedding ring.
their eyes widened.
"we?" a fourth girl chimed in, her entire head nearly white with the most platinum blonde hair - a stark contrast to how her cheeks were actively flushing pink.
"me and spencer," you said, furrowing your brows in mock confusion. "you do know we're married, right? have been since before the war..."
you trailed off, trying to continue to feign ignorance but struggling to not smile as they fumbled for something to say.
"oh, no of course!" the brunette said, mustering a quick smile. she looked back to spencer, holding a hand out before looking up at you and pulling it back a touch, uncertain of what exactly to do before it finally fell to her side. "it was nice to meet you, mr. dutton." she looked to you and nodded. "mrs. dutton." back to him. "good luck on your hunt."
with that, she grabbed the arm of the blonde, the other two following closely behind as they shuffled away, murmuring who knows what as they made their leave.
you took a sip of your whiskey, smiling openly now as spencer sat up and leaned close to your side. he sipped on his own drink, watching you with the corners of his mouth pulled up in amusement. when he set his drink down he was grinning, huffing out a laugh.
"you're getting creative," he said, raising his brows for a moment. "i should consider myself lucky for having such a protective wife."
"i'm a cowgirl, baby," you told him, glancing back at the retreating girls before offering him a lame shrug and smile. "i was raised how to keep the wolves away."

Hey just wondering if you would be open to a Spencer Dutton x fem reader?
If so I was thinking one were the reader and her family live on a neighbouring ranch and the readers family and the duttons often help each other out.
But the reader and Spencer have always been kinda sweet on each through their teenage years and very clearly obviously loved eachother very much and as they got older maybe 18/19 before Spencer’s gets sent away to the war he goes to see the reader to tell her he’s being drafted, but her mother and father isn’t in they are helping over at the Dutton ranch and that’s when they “ share a night of passion “ .
But shortly after Spencer is away the reader discovers she’s pregnant and goes to the duttons to tell them it’s Spencer’s and they kinda already thought it would be because of how they both were with eachother, anyway so the reader moves in with the duttons because her mother and father can’t bear she’s pregnant outside of wedlock and Cara has wrote a letter to Spencer telling him, ( but of course he doesn’t read them)
( basically in Cara’s letters to him she updates the readers condition to him through the pregnancy and then eventually the news comes that his little girl has been welcomed into the world but of course he doesn’t know because he doesn’t read the letters!) so basically he still goes to Africa still meets Alex only difference is they are only engaged and not married yet so when Spencer and Alex return to the ranch the reader is still living with the Duttons with their 3 year old daughter and a rush of emotions come back to the reader and Spencer when they see eachother again maybe the reader standing up on the porch with their 3 year old daughter arms wrapped round her legs and the reader is silently crying and just whisper cry’s hi? If that’s okay with you? You can end it however you like but I really just can’t get that out my head!!
For starters this would be a massive undertaking for any writer and I think if you have this depth of idea you should try to write it yourself. This ask is literally the equivilent of asking someone to write you a novel for free, it's not really fair.
Secondly if you'd read the rules on the pinned post in my blog (for the future every writer has one and I advise you do this before you submit elsewhere.) you'll see I don't write stuff like this because I find it creatively stifling. It's not my idea or story, it's YOURS, why would I write it? What drive would I have?
If you want to submit a prompt or a three things prompt I'll be happy to take a punt but as it stands this isn't for me and I think you'll be very hard pressed to find someone who will be willing to make the time for a project of such size and depth.
For the future here are the rules:
The Rules:
Only pick people off the character list below for each fandom.
One prompt per ask - you can send as many asks as you want within reason
Include the whole prompt in the ask, not just the number.
I don’t write things like Voight’s daughter/Hondo’s friend/Adam’s sister
I also don't write specific asks on this blog eg: reader is a firefighter/doctor/cop who has this/does this. They meet and do this/and this and say this... I usually work from prompts.
I don't write other people's stories so if you have a long detailed idea you want writing, this is not the blog for you.

A message to the anonymous ask that sent this request "If so I was thinking one were the reader and her family live on a neighbouring ranch and the readers family and the duttons often help each other out."
I am going to do my best to write this request but for future references to anyone who sends me requests please don't send me a request as long as this one, especially one that is this detail specific ( I have seen it has been sent to other bloggers besides me )
I also ask that you don't send me requests that you have already sent to another blog unless they have told you that they won't write your request at all.
Regardless, thank you to everyone who sends me requests and reads my stories ❤️ I enjoy writing for y'all

A Brighter Lighthouse.
1923 Spencer Dutton x f! mermaid reader. ( No use of Y/N. Can also be red as unnamed original character. ) Mentions of blood, open wounds. Authors note: I haven't written in years so bare with me I'm quite rusty. But! This piece was inspired by this audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUr6soGZKDE&pp=ygUMcGViYmxlcyBhc21y and it's Halloween and I like mermaids so I'd like to think it's meant to be! Hope you enjoy it! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ With the tides mellow, the breeze cool and the stars glittering in the sky. Spencer for once allowed himself to be at ease. His tired eyes gazed to the stars with a mindless wonder. Surprised at the sudden silence of his often raging mind. He took a breath. Looking at the small rocky island his lighthouse stood upon, with a soft grin he watched his dog Odis venture to the small sand patches, keeping the large dog in his sight as he continued prepping his dinner, mixing the sorry excuse for porridge mash vigorously with a curse. " Damnit' too watery... " He muttered, he took the box of dried porridge and poured it into the bowl, he continued mixing before ultimately hanging his head in defeat. " Too fuckin' thick..." He scoffs, shaking his head. " Y'know Odis, 'm starting to think -" He calls out, that's when he then notices that Odis wasn't at the sand patch. He turned his head, nor was he on the smaller grass patch. " Odis?" He calls out, waiting a spell to hear any sounds of him... Nothing. Something's not right. "Odis! C'mon kid lets eat!" Spencer called out again, grabbing his dogs food bowl and pouring the sorry excuse for porridge into his bowl. Noticing that his dog still hasn't come to him, he places the bowl down to the table with a roll of his eyes, so he calls his name out again. A series of whistles, and again nothing. "Odis! What did you get yourself-" The abrupt, low, and harsh barking halted him. The hairs of his neck stood up as he snatched the kitchen knife from the table.
With an aggressive shout of his dog's name, his heart pounding against his ears at the sudden ambivalent nature of the nighttime, he followed his dog loud barking and snarling, rushing over rocks and uneven terrain he finally made it around the large boulder to the rocky shore, there. In the dim light he could see his dog Odis barking and nipping towards a mass thrown against the rocks. With an eerie squint in his eyes, he carefully steps closer, A fish? No... He continues to step closer, A shark? "No.. It couldn't be..." He whispered, he stood silently. Letting Odis sniff the unidentified mass before he began to whimper, nudging and nipping at the supposedly dead animal. With a few steps closer, he snapped for Odis to move aside. Odis wouldn't budge. " Odis- son move." Dejected by his dogs lack of manners he looked over the large mastiff. "Oh no..." He drops his kitchen knife to the void of the rocks to hurriedly crawl over the sharp rocks. Finally reaching the two with a grunt he looks to the body with sorrowful eyes, followed by a slight shake of his head. Lord have mercy, I didn't think I'd have to see another dead body..
He kneels beside the body with a furrow of his brows, Odis relentless as he nudges the poor body's head with a pleading whimper. " Boy relax, ain't nothin' we can do." With those words Odis went into a frenzy, he continues to nip and nudge the body, he watched Odis as he dog scurried from nudging the body, to scratching and pawing at this large rock. Taking a closer step with a whispered curse he looks to her leg trapped between the cracks of the sharp boulders, he's in debates in his mind... Is this even worth it? With a final harsh nudge from Odis, the body cries out. Weakly moaning in pain, Spencer's head snapped as Odis licked the poor girl's face, bruised and painted with cuts from the rocks, it's not until then he finally registers what exactly he's doing. Or exactly who he's helping. "How the hell did you get here girl?" He spat, carefully twisting and adjusting her battered and bruised foot to try and ease it from the cracks, goosebumps littered his skin with every whimper and cry she let out. In a sorry attempt to adjust her body, he calls out to her again. " Don't move yet you hear me? You're almost out." He continued focusing on the task while Odis licked and nudged her head and chest, almost saddened for the girl as she weakly patted the dog. With a few shifts and twists, her leg was finally free from the cracks, he looked to the foot as best he could. " Gotta take you up the lighthouse, can't see too well to help you-" The leg was snatched from his grasp, looking up he finally meets her eyes. And oh boy was he locked in. The pure horror painting her features felt guttural, in a sorry attempt to try and shuffle away he stepped closer, holding his free hand out to her. "No no no- wait now just hol' on!" He called out, she was weak, and taking what was left of adrenaline she had she grabbed a rock. " Hey now- " With a pained grunt, she threw the rock, only tapping his shoulder with a pathetic pat before falling to the wet stones. Deep down he was amused by the attempt, poor thing. He thought he crawled his way over to her, kneeling beside her as his eyes gazed over her nude body. "Ma'am.. Ma'am what happened to you?" He asked, observing the damage done to her body he finally looked to her face. Her lip busted, minor cuts and abrasions here and there but no signs of horrible damage compared to her foot, he leans in closer, her eyes bored into his own. Petrified, she's purely petrified. He could see the tiredness in her eyes. "Ma'am hey-" She was losing it, fighting fatigue he puts a rather harsh pat to the side of her face, with a moan she fought the sleep before ultimately falling limp in his arms, Odis licking and nudging her again wasn't working. Spencer looks to his dog with a huff. "Do we have to?" Guidance... I'm asking for guidance from a dog. Spencer couldn't believe it, Odis then licked his hand which helped the girl ultimately make the decision, with a grunt. Spencer sweeps her up into his arms. " 'm trusting you with this one Odis.." And with that, he carefully steps his way towards the flatter side of the lighthouse, girl in arms. Dog in tow.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The once calm evening now a semi-hectic night surely ruffled Spencer's normal routine of shitty gruel for a meal, a good book his beer, and falling asleep with his dog Odis. It's now turned into a scavenger hunt for what he felt was a nonexistent first aid kit for a naked woman found on the shore. He's scrambling, something there has to be something. He moves the heavy box to the side before opening it, with a rusty creek. Spencer cringed at the family of dust bunnies and spiders residing in the sadly preserved first aid kit. He looks to the contents, at least at ease with the full box, and he takes it back up the stairs. His footsteps echoed as he reached the top of the tower, where he saw his dog Odis. Tail wagging and resting his large head upon the girls lap, she petted him weakly, shivering and lethargic. She slowly blinks as she looks to Odis with some odd sense of wonder, once hearing his footsteps her tired eyes looks to Spencer. Defeat, she's utterly defeated. He makes his way over. " 'lright ma'am, I need to take a look at that foot alright? Then we can get you to bed. " His low voice echoed the room as she looks to Spencer, he couldn't quite read what she could be thinking. She's fuckin' weird.. He thought, shrugging his shoulders he bents down to one knee, taking the bandages from the box. " So.. What's your name ma'am? " He asks softly, taking the cleaning solution into his hands, after a few seconds of silence he looks up to her. She's just staring at him, he continues to wait.. And nothing, " Ma'am?" He asks again, still. Nothing, annoyed he continues to tend to her wound. " Fuckin' weird.." He whispers under his breath, he then pours the wound cleaning solution to her wound, jumping at the sudden cries coming from her. " What's your problem!?" He yells out, suddenly the smell was rancid... No, not rancid. Burning? He looks to her leg, he almost gagged at the sight of the wound expanding with a sizzling hiss, he holds her leg in place. " 'm sorry- I'm sorry!" He huffs frantically, he takes the bottle of water from the desk side and flushes out her wound, the sizzling then fading. Her once was a scrape now turned into a burn, her flesh scorned with splotches of blood, god he felt terrible. But he couldn’t help but question this iridescent glitter onto her wet skin, he speaks;" I'm so sorry. " He speaks softly, slightly defeated himself he holds her leg into his hands, he softens his grip, carefully patting away the excess water and blood from her wound. " Y'know, you still didn't tell me how you ended up here." He speaks, attempting to lighten the mood as he takes a clean gauze, to place upon her wound. " Still nothin' huh?" He huffs lightly, astonished by the silence as he continues to wrap her leg. " Could you at least tell me your name? " Curiosities just taking the best of him, just mindlessly asking questions as he rewraps her leg, correcting his mistake. But what he wasn't prepared for was to hear her weak, small but kind voice say her name. His brows raised at the melodious sound of her saddened voice, he looks to her again. Eyes wide in shock as she swallows. " That... That is my name." Her accent was foreign, though understandable. She looked to Spencer with still the tinge of fear, her body lightly less tense. "Spencer... " He speaks softly, mindlessly letting go of her leg. He continues to study her face. " How'd... How'd you get here? Why'd you end up like this?" He adjusts himself slowly to comfortably sit on the ground beside her, she slowly with a small whimper of pain adjusted to hold herself, her knees tucked to her chest. " He does not want me... He banished me from my home. " He hummed, nodding his head lightly as he listened to her limited words. " But... How? Where did you come from? " She fell silent, looking away from Spencer with shame and a tense tinge of her shoulders. " Ma'am..." He calls for her, he carefully takes her face into his hand. Moving her head to face him ever so softly. She leaned into the warmth of his hand, is.. Is she melting into my hands of all things?
" Please tell me, I need to help you." He asks, almost pleading for an answer, with a small sigh she relaxes to his touch. He felt her weight now resting fully on his touch, and he sighed. He scoops the girl into his arms once more, he studies her. What are you...
