Pogliaghi Strada

Much as we love a vintage Colnago, CIOCC, De Rosa or Pinarello, there's something even more desirable about the more obscure old Italian brands – and this Pogliaghi Strada has all the right bits (Campagnolo, Reynolds 531, Mavic, Vittoria, Cinelli, etc) along with some lovely period details.

Sante Pogliaghi was a post-war frame builder famous for his track bikes, but also had a reputation for top-notch road bikes. He passed the rights for frame production to Rossin in the early ’80s and they then went on to the Basso Brothers, so anything built by the man himself in the ’70s or earlier is a real collectors item.
