From my research, the 🦠 Unwashed Bottle debuff tooltip isn't entirely accurate. It doesn't roll from the ENTIRE debuff pool, but rather a curated set of debuffs dependent on where the bottle sourced its water from.

Emphasis on the water's location, not the bottle's location, btw. There's two main brands of water in 🏙️ Asylum Restituo: Algadan spring water, and the corporate QuataCo distilled quarry water. The bottles are sold in the same place, but as you can see, their water comes from different places.

Looking at just Asylum Restituo, the main perks to unwashed Algadan water is the marine life thematic debuffs: Stuff like 🐙 Tentacle Whip and 🦀 Pincer Maneuver are certainly very attack-centric and perfect for a glass cannon build, at the cost of the 🐟 Gills mandatory co-debuff requiring you to remain near water for the rest of your run, although I belieeeeve ⚫ Ursula's Call can help you circumvent this? Don't quote me on this. Not a fan of obtaining Ursula's Call myself; 30 hacking minigames just get too much.

QuataCo is a bit under-researched at the moment, because no one is willing to buy the bottles, but from my test run I got 🩸 Aspirating Blood, 🕸️ Ohh Fuck There's Spiderwebs Everywhere, and 🏳️‍🌈 Gay, among others. Aspirating Blood increases attack speed and damage but reduces max hp and stops regeneration, which is PERFECT for a glass cannon run. Spiderwebs Everywhere... Isn't very helpful, but I've learned it's actually a pacifist alternative to obtaining 📜 Broodmother's Song from 🪨 Specito's Den due to gaining an automatic allegiance with spiders. Broodsong, as you know, is a REALLY FUCKING GOOD weapon for glass cannon and general Axe-First Sorcerer archetype classes.

I will say, though, that rolling 🌊 Washed Bottles is just better in the long run imo. Sure, 💭 Unwashed Prophecies can reveal some hints and are generally very well rendered and artistically designed cutscenes, but to a veteran player they're useless. Washed Bottles are a lifesaver in boss rushes and endurance tests, and the debuffs Unwashed Bottles roll can be found in other places anyway, so like. Who care.

Submissions are focused into 3 categories (Spookiest, Goofiest, Mystery!) and will be handled by community vote.

Winner gets a collab art of their OC + Chiggin, by me and Speci!
