in berries skoodge seems nice on a surface level but once you stare at all of his words and actions for a while you realize he is still an irken (and that being one comes with a lot of selfishness)

#specifically thinking about. his reactions to all of zims breakdowns #he always thinks about himself #like he still (usually) tries to help zim. but he also gets stuck on his own thoughts and feelings and kinda #puts them out there. zim is priority but skoodge cant help naturally being inclined to worry about himself first.#is it a learned behavior? instinct? because of how often hes been at the foot of danger? he just cant think of how it might affect others?#hmmmmm
