The younger boy on the shoulders of the older one was wearing a black hoodie with messy, painted white lines that seemed to resemble ribs, though the hood was back and revealed short, slightly wavy blonde hair in a bowl cut.

And the older boy? It was Smith."

And yes! They are different, I honestly think S!Kai didn't care that his hair was messy all the time. M!Kai cares a little more about his appearance, that's why his hair is fluffier, Oh and he also has slightly longer hair

Drew Cyan (movie!Nya) from the Dorksquad Forced to be Evil AU!

In this AU, all the members of the Dorksquad (who have not met each other yet) are forced to be evil and work for various villain groups.

Cyan was kidnapped by a Merlopian cult that worships Wojira and forced to be their high priestess lest they use Red (m!Kai) instead. She gets to visit her twin occasionally and plans for the day they can both escape unharmed

And yes, the Maya parallels in the outfit/hairstyle were intentional, Maya and Ray were involved in the Wojira Cult and the Fire Snakes before and tried to keep them away from their kids (this failed)

So you know how we’ve talked about there being custody wars over Smith?  Well I get this constant image in my mind of SLloyd getting jealous of his M counterpart with the kind of thinking that Smith was HIS brother first.  So he does little sneaky stuff to get MLloyd to back off.  Than I imagine MLloyd turning to Koko desperately asking what he was like at that age.

So, we’re almost halfway through December and only now do I get some Nutcracker AU art done-

Anyway, I’ve made an updated reference for Show!Jay in this AU! He’s been slated into the role of the Nutcracker Prince’s toy solider general, magically bound by the rules of the story to be compelled to obey any order given by his prince.

And this year, I’ve got some lore on the character Jay is embodying due to the curse! Here’s as brief as my autistic butt can make it:

General Robin was once a humble soldier of the royal army, but rose in the ranks swiftly to become the general after the previous holder of the post was deemed unfit and Robin was found to be quite skilled in both combat and thinking on his feet. With so much time spent on castle grounds, he ended up developing feelings for the princess, soon learning they were reciprocated. The two were not present for the initial invasion of the castle by the Rat King, having been on a date at the time. Upon hearing of the prince’s cursed fate, staged a counterattack just days later, ending in Robin blocking a blast meant for the princess, turning him into a windup tin solider. Unfortunately, his sacrifice was in vein, as his love was cursed shortly after when she tried to continue the assault on her own. The couple now stick by the prince and a strange new companion’s side on a journey to reclaim the now nicknamed “Kingdom of the Dolls”.

So that’s the lore! Keep in mind that’s the character Jay’s taking on the role of, so he’s gotta learn who the heck this guy is along with everyone else figuring their assigned characters out. Hey, at least being lovey dovey with his girlfriend makes sense in the story!

Losing yourself to the silence

Drew an AU version of movie!Kai (Red). In this AU, all the members of the Dorksquad (who have not met each other yet) are forced to be evil and work for various villain groups.

Red is unfortunately part of Char’s evil magic Fire Snakes gang, and is partly transformed into a snake with magic to match. He gets to see his sister, who’s the High Priestess of the Merlopian Wojira Cult, once in a while and just wants things to go back to the way they were before.

In the SPBNR AU version, Smith (show!Kai) finds out about the Dorksquad and proceeds to rescue all of them while introducing them to each other
