Sunshine and sparky rambling part 2!!!!

Jason x daughter of Apollo reader who also works at the infirmary, so she's naturally a little worried and overprotective sometimes. Jason is always overworking himself and she's like 🤬🤬🤬 wtf is wrong with you!!! you need to take better care of yourself!!! And Jason just sits there and smiles because he realises how much she cares for him, and he's wanted that his entire life

SUNSHINE AND SPARKY!!! theyre so adorable i love them SO much 😊 in my head after the demeter and the aphrodite kids apollo kids r def some of the most nurturing & caring at camp so ... lets say jason gets a little hurt while sparring w percy or smth and its in his nature to downplay his pain whether physical or emotional but percy insists he takes him to the infirmary just in case!!! so he goes and thats where he meets sunshine 🫡 and shes SO sweet the whole time shes bandaging him up she talks him through it in case he was nervous or anything meanwhile jasons sitting there w the brightest blush on his face head over heels in love because hes NEVERRR had someone care ab him this much?? usually its him doing all the caring???

from that day on he makes sure to always get his doctors visits in whenever he gets hurt and quickly becomes a regular LMAO and the more he shows up the more suspicious u get but u dont bring it up cz everyones definition of pain urgent enough to go to the infirmary is different!!! until he shows up w a paper cut asking u to use ur healing powers on it cz thats a bit much atp 😬

so u ask what's up w him and he immediately spills ab how in love w u he is and how hes been in love w u ever since that first time he showed up w percy and how he feels no ones ever cared for him as much as u and ofc u like him back so u become a couple 😇 and from then on u make sure jasons ALWAYS feeling extra cared for... u pass by his cabin to walk to breakfast and sit at the zeus table w him, ur hand in his as he shyly tells u ab everything he plans to do that day <3 packing him a lunchbox and first aid kit before any quests or ventures to chb/cj depending on where u live <3 washing and trimming his hair for him when hes too lazy to <3 and ofc ALWAYS prioritising him when he shows up at the infirmary <3 and the entire time jason has the goofiest smile on his face EVERRRR like its so big and people say you rubbed off on him whenever they see him around u cz they could swear he radiates the same sunlight you do (you tell him this and he says its because your souls are made of the same stuff)

AND at first when he realises how much she actually cares about him he’s just like :O

i imagine it as sunshine being super nice to him n wtv and jason joking ab how tired she must be of him or smth along those lines except he makes the same joke Every Single Time and she’s rly sick of him so she just grabs him by the shoulders & is like “i do this because i love you jason i do this because i want to do it you aren’t a burden to me” and he’s just 😦

If Sunshine is ever too stubborn and overworks herself at the infirmary Sparky will not hesitate to just pick her up and throw her over his shoulders and carry her back to his cabin EFFORTLESSLY sometimes I forget how strong he is

YESSSS OMG !!!! sunshine’s siblings try to get her out of the infirmary first by doing all sorts of crazy things like changing the clocks to be an hour ahead or bribing her w some food she likes or smth but she does NOT BUDGE so obv will has to call in the big guns (or wtv that phrase is soz guys) aka jason 😭 imagine they’re all “code j” so they tell him the situation and at first he tries asking her nicely n telling her omg come to my cabin sing me that song u were talking ab !!! but when she refuses he’s like ok fine 😐 and picks her up LMAOOO and she’s all omg what r u doing???? and he’s just like say bye to ur siblings sunshine!!! 😁

okay so you know how apollo kids are scared of the dark?? Imagine Sparky comforting Sunshine in the dark akjhjfagfhjdvfhsjvfhsjvfsjhdb

YES i have to pull out the cliche nightmare trope here i love it sm will never tire of a good old nightmare fic…. imagine sunshine has a nightmare and wakes up to pitch black 😣😣 they usually have a night light because jason knows sunshine doesn’t like the dark but lets say the batteries died in the middle of the night or smth and they’re there freaking out because omg i can’t see what if something’s out to get me ???? and they’re freaking out too much they’re forgetting they can light up themselves 😣 but jason’s a super light sleeper so obv he wakes up and is like wait lemme turn on the light and they’re like “no u can’t leave me to turn on the light what if i die rn” (i can’t think of proper dialogue atm sorry i need to sleep actually LOL 😭😭) so they end up holding hands all the way to the light switch and once they turn the lights on it’s like sunshine can finally breathe again and they break down a little in his arms but all is well in the end he comforts them and IMMEDIATELY changes the batteries in the nightlight 🫡

YES YES YES BECAUSE I WAS LIT TELLING MY FRIEND MONTHS AGO HOW IF I WERE RICK AND WANTED TO BRING JASON BACK W OUT RUINING CANON THIS IS HOW I'D DO IT!!! it'd def be orpheus and eurydice style! sunshine goes to talk to nico and begs him to let her know if theres any way to bring jason back and nicos hesitant to tell her at first because if u fail ur just left heartbroken and mad at urself forever but eventually he accidentally lets it slip that hades will still allow people to pull an orpheus and eurydice now if they truly love the person theyre trying to rescue and warns her about the risks n all that but she goes to do it anyway 😫

Sunshine's siblings would be so protective of her but when they find out she's dating sparky they're just like "oh. okay 👍" because they know Sparky is a good guy 😁

REAL omg imagine their relationship is lowk a secret but all of sunshine’s siblings can tell she’s def dating someone cz children of apollo and their extremely accurate gut feelings DUHH and they’re all super worried cz what if it’s that guy 😨😨 what if it’s this girl 😨😨😨 and whenever they see sunshine w someone they’re all thinking i hope she’s not dating THEM 😬😣 but then they catch sunshine and sparky being all coupley in her room or smth and they’re both super worried like now her siblings r gonna curse jason to speak in haiku for the rest of his life 😨😨😨 but they’re all OH!!! OMG YAY 😁😁🥳🥳 CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 just cz theyre SO relieved it’s a good guy 😭

Sunshine is naturally pretty warm so Sparky would CLING to her in the winters and would whine if she had to get up early in the morning

YES 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ imagine sparky being all pouty cz sunshine has the morning shift at the infirmary 😣 so he tries to persuade her to just ditch but she can’t ditch her duty like that her siblings and the people in the infirmary are counting on her!!!! so what does sparky do?! he goes to william solace himself and begs asks him to switch all of sunshine’s shifts to afternoon so that they can sleep in tgt 😣😣😣 sunshine has a feeling jason has smth to do w the sudden change of schedule that mostly affects her but she’s not complaining cz she gets to spend time w her sparky 😁

Yk how you said Jason would say he's tired so she could finally rest?? She'd do the same!!! If he's up late she'd say things like "I'll be able to sleep better next to you" and he caves. They'd be so cute because they'd do these little things to care for each other?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

FR!!!! im pretty sure i wrote ab this somewhere else but i can’t remember if it was a graceland ask or one of my writings LOL BUT UR SO RIGHT 😫 theyre the acts of service couple fr! i feel like jason also has a habit of neglecting his health in general so she always makes sure to eat w him at the zeus table or cabin to make sure he’s eating properly and probs buys him one of those water bottles w the lines on them so he drinks enough water every day and he does it becaause in his mind it’s like “my silly doctor gf will be soooo happy if she sees i did this!!!!!” so it works out well 😊

SPARKY AND SUNSHINE RAMBLING PART 3!!!!

imagine stressed out sunshine working at the infirmary and then sparky surprises her and hugs her from behind?!?!?!?!?! And he just says "I needed a break" because he's stressed out and overworked too and sunshine just melts into his arms because she needed it too and loves her sweetheart bf sm

STOPPP OMG ☹️☹️☹️ children of apollo def strike me as the types to put everyone’s well beings above their own and end up neglecting themselves often 😭 imagine this is after the events of blood of olympus and she feels major survivor’s guilt for the SECOND time in around a year because why does she get to keep surviving??? and the only way she can feel less guilty is by overworking herself at the infirmary and healing every single person to the point where it’s like they never even got hurt ☹️☹️☹️ and she reminds herself she has no right to be lazy and exhausted because at least she’s alive ☹️☹️☹️☹️ and everyone notices and tries to get her out of the infirmary but she refuses and gets mad whenever someone brings it up ☹️ but ever perceptive jason knows her better than he knows himself so he brings up the fact that HES tired because then she'll feel like shes doing a service and therefore wont feel guilty for resting ☹️☹️☹️ and while she lays in his arms in the zeus cabin he plays w her hair and reminds her that none of this is her fault and resting doesnt make her any less worthy of her life ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I hc that children of apollo look AMAZING ETHEREAL STUNNING GORGEOUS in the sunlight and sometimes dad helps them out a little and acts like a wingman and gives them the best lighting ever !!! He did this for sunshine and sparky too back when they were friends and sparky just looked at her and was like 😮😮😮

YESSSS OMG i know u guys r some of the MOST photogenic campers out there esp when the pic is taken w flash on like 😫 always so gorgeous in any lighting fr!!!! apollo is always watching over you even if it doesn’t seem like it & since he’s the god of truth he knew you and jason liked each other before you even knew that yourselves so he’d always make sure you look phenomenal at all times around him!!!! 😣 hair is literally all sparkly like ✨✨✨ thanks to your father dearest and jason’s all “wow her hair is so shiny i wonder what shampoo she uses 😯🫣” LMAOOO

Sunshine x sparky where ambrosia for sparky starts tasting like a small birthday cupcake sunshine made for him when they were friends and she was the only one who remembered 🙁🙁🙁 it wasn’t anything special but the love she put into it was more than enough ☹️☹️☹️

STOP OMG YES 😣😣😣 he’s too shy to admit it but she’s SO curious about what his ambrosia tastes like 😣 then one day she’s working in the infirmary and he gets hurt and is kinda out of it and she gives him some ambrosia and sits next to him and is holding his hand n everything n while he’s eating it he has this cute little look of pure satisfaction and he turns to her n goes “tastes like the birthday cupcake you made me 5 years ago” and she has to wrack her brain for a second cz she can’t remember this but then she does and she lit hugs him and is bawling her eyes out because???? that was jusr a silly cupcake to her but it meant the world to him????? to the point where it’s his AMBROSIA TASTE?????? gonna be sick rn

Sunshine x sparky is perfect because it’s sunshine who’s overbearing and is great at caring for people, frequently helping out at the infirmary and then there’s sparky who’s never been cared for enough :(((

YES omg stop artistic sunshine!!!!! artistic sunshine who draws all her siblings and her friends and family and everyone she loves because focusing on every tiny little detail of their features is the way she shows love!!!! keeping them permanent by putting them in her little sketchbook is the way she shows love!!!!! so it’s only natural for her to eventually build up the courage to ask jason if she can draw him too!!!!!!! and ever perceptive jason has known before they even became friends that sunshine drawing someone is a huge deal to her so he’s like you want to draw ME???? ☹️☹️☹️ he’s never felt more special in his life omg 😣 so he tries his hardest to sit still and not laugh when she’s staring at his lips like that because he knows she’s just trying to draw the scar perfectly!!!! but also her staring at his lips has him staring at her lips and all of a sudden he wishes she wouldn’t draw anymore if u know what i mean 😫
