Thinking about the dynamic for my Spacedolls Miraculous AU, and it's practically the same as the dynamic outlined by this post (credit goes to @sleepboysummer).

Basically, Ricky Potts starts falling in love with the mysterious animal-loving girl in the back of his class, but keeps it to himself, in order to not make things weird. Who would want to make out with "tambourine guy" anyways? As of now, any action Ricky might make towards her is limited to wooing the suspiciously-familiar sexy cat lady they drew in their sketchbook. If only he ever knew just how that mysterious girl feels about him, even if everybody but him can see it.

On the other hand, Penny Lamb can't help but fall in love with the mute comic book geek in her class. Every passionate flap of their arms, all of the facial expressions they make in lieu of actual words, the way they take care of any stray cat they see, it makes her heart go complete bananas! She just wants nothing more than to spend time with the adorkable sweetheart, even if she can't talk to him without stumbling over her words and blushing so hard you can see it from space.

As the protectors of Uranium City against Akumas, however, no longer are they a just pair of awkward nerds. They are now the most heroic duo in town: Bachelorbug and Ragdoll! And, wouldn't you know it, they are some of the most confident flirtatious heroes you'll ever find. And their favorite targets? Each other! But they are equal parts lover and fighter, and they would not let evil go un-purified!

So, @zestydistress claims that the world is ready for a Spacedolls Miraculous AU, so allow me to introduce Ricky Potts (an ordinary not-quite-a-boy with an ordinary life) aka. Bachelorbug!

Some facts about Ricky below the cut:

Transmasc NBLW (he/they)

Is primarily inspired by a mix between Station Theatre, Playhouse Collective, and SUNY Purchase's portrayals of Ricky (with a good hint of Yannick for good measure), with the former two's SABM outfits inspiring the Ladybug outfit.

Is half-Puerto Rican (on his mother's side)

His father is a semi-renowned pastor, while his mother is one of the greatest (read: only) veterinarian in all of Uranium City

They have Alexander's disease, Frederich's Ataxia, POTS, and general joint issues, regularly needing mobility aids (they have a cane, forearm crutches, and a wheelchair, depending on specific needs)

In addition to his parents, he lives with his 14 cats and an assortment of other pets from his mother's side job as an animal shelter worker

They have always dreamed of being a professional comic book artist, and their weird storylines resulted in them gaining the title of "The Most Imaginative Kid in Town"

For being regularly ignored and looked down on due to their disability (especially by Ocean), Ricky still makes it through each day with optimism and a smile on his face, for one day, he could be renowned as a hero...

But, little did Ricky know, this little fantasy of theirs was about to come true...

After helping out an old man, now known as Master Karnak, Ricky was gifted a mysterious box that contained a mysterious electric-guitar-playing ladybug spirit that calls itself "Tikki"

Tikki gifted Ricky a pair of earrings that would enable them to transform into the hero "Bachelorbug", and, wouldn't you know it, they instantly jumped at the opportunity to be a hero

Anything to live out his fantasies and get some excitement in the small and boring town of Uranium...

And they even get a sexy cat lady as their Akuma-fighting partner...

(On an extra note, Ricky really loves collecting caps, and the Steven Universe cap is his personal favorite, although he has a bunch of different types of hats.)

Ricky has been best friends with Noel, Ocean, and Constance ever since they were little, but Ocean and Constance grew apart from the group, but at least they still have Noel as their BFF (transmasc lesbian/transfem gay solidarity)

I'm saying this because Ricky pining for Jane out-of-costume, all while Cat!Jane is all "Make love to me!" to Ladybug!Ricky in costume, is such a real concept to me.

(I also just want Ricky to have his sexy cat lady, even if she's not from Zolar!)
