Looking for OCtober Prompts!

Hello there folks!

I'm looking to do OC-tober, where I draw my OCs throughout the month of pOctober! I had a lot of fun last year with the prompt list I found, so I'm looking for suggestions for this year!

I am doing the october OC month thing. I drew my OC that I’ve had for years now. She doesn’t have an actual name, I could never find something that vibes with me (and that I remember). I’ve also never actually drawn her before. She’s a demon (naturally, 9 year old me ate that shit up) and the metallic parts of her body can shapeshift, cause of course. She’s covered in black scales and the metal-like parts are blue-grey. Most likely does her chopping at Hot Topic and any second-hand store. She’s got a favourite red and orange sweater that’s a bit too small. This really is just self indulgence at its core, and cringe culture is dead. And yes, I gave up halfway through, but I think it’s enough to get the idea. I’m quite excited for the rest of the month and to do this challenge!

This October I'll try to participate in OC-tober, using @depressed--and--underdressed AMAZING ocs because I love them and they're all so great.

I'm going to use @spacebunprince promts!

Day 1: "Hello there. OC here". It's not the same quote, but it reminded me of That Zuko meme, so @depressed--and--underdressed I offer you some Fire Nation Phoenix.

I decided to do @spacebunprince’s OCtober this year! I’m very excited!

Day 1: “Hey there, OC here”

We’re starting out safe by introducing Widget, there’s gonna be more OCs down the line I just like drawing her

"Today was probably the best day of my life.

"My world has always been in black and white. The buildings, the sky, the forest... us. I've never seen anything in color before. That is, until this year. Now, because of what we're doing with more and more colors appearing on out bodies, the environment... it's not grey anymore. The world is becoming beautiful. Not that it wasn't already, but this is just... amazing.

"I really don't know how else to describe it. The leaves are orange, trees are brown, grass is green- green of all colors! But the sky... the sky is the best part. It's quickly becoming the most vibrant thing I've ever seen. Just before night, it becomes red and gold and pink and- it's just gorgeous.

"Emma picked up some of the leaves while we were out on a walk and started throwing them at me. I ran, and she chased me. We eventually flopped down under the tree, coated in leaves and laughing hard. And we just stared up at the sky."

Monarch butterflies are my favorite species of butterfly, so I made that Fauna's familiar. Butterflies are fun :)

“Heya, guys! Fauna here! Today, I met someone. She got ran out of town (long story) and I followed her. We had a nice talk, and I think we’re gonna be friends! Her name is Emma, and she’s… well, not like anyone else I’ve ever met. While we were talking, our eyes changed. It was super weird, and we’re gonna figure it out together. After that, we just talked for a bit. She’s not the most optimistic person, but we’ll work on that. For now, I’m glad we met.”

BACKGROUNDS AAAAAA

This one I had to think about, since I knew I wanted to draw this today, but making it fit the prompt was a bit hard (after this, it’ll be purely prompt driven, so I won’t have this problem lol). But, I figured after the eye thing, they’d just talk casually for a bit afterward, get to know each other, y’know. So that’s what they’re doing.

So we’re doing this this year! I’ve tried Inktober before, but I’ve never gotten to Day 10 before without missing a day, so I’m getting serious this year. I’m doing Follychromatic characters, and I hope I can string together a story in the meanwhile.

It's @depressed--and--underdressed oc genderswap!Julian (I guess it's Jules now :D). She has the biggest Mom energy and definitely wears mom jeans when not in costume.
