That would be a toss up between

Tokyo Mew Mew; 

Inuyasha; 

or Fullmetal Alchemist; 

If we talk about after I was a kid, and could appreciate anime for what it really is, and the first anime I actually finished, that would be

Elfen Lied; 

... when I was in middle school. I still think I was too young to appreciate that one then, either. It deserves a rewatch, for what I consider my true segue into anime. 

14. favorite completed (multi seasoned) anime

Oh this is super easy for me - 

Mushishi! 

It was a lot different from any anime I had watched before, and I loved that! It was a much more quiet show, subtle, peaceful, yet still so fascinating in its concept to me. I wish it was longer than it was; I suppose I’ll have to start reading the manga. :D 

24. favorite genre

I love so many different kinds of anime, but I really enjoy slice of life anime or comedies, something light and funny. I do enjoy plot, of course, but sometimes a whimsical lack of any serious plot is a nice break, a refresher for when life sometimes seems too serious. I’m also a sucker for shoujo - I’m a romantic at heart.

Mr. Grinch is ordered in the list as The Devil (surprise surprise) and upon pulling a few cards for you it seems you are in a crossroads with trying to choose a path that will let you express yourself, maybe creatively or in a way that will help you progress. The grinch can symbolize a pathway that is tempting that might grant you some power but is short term or unsatisfying or that might even bind you! I think its interesting that I clicked on a part of the song where the singer says, ‘given the choice between the two of you, I’d take the seasick crocodile!’ whatever tempting choice that might be presented to you now might really not be the best one. The knight of cups (which is a card I pulled that seems to represent where you are right now, is being followed by the six of cups which I think is a great card for advice. Look at what helped you in the past when you were truely happy! Six of cups is a card of nostalgia but also a card that lets you know its time to connect to your inner child or a time in your past where you had a sense of happiness or security. This is crazy spot on. I just broke up with my boyfriend of almost two years last night and am still deciding if it should be for good. Staying together would be easier, definitely, but I think separating is the best choice, especially now that I’ve had this. Thank you so much.

lol ohhh my god!!! It’s funny when you read for people you don’t know cause like I don’t know your life so its just a lot of prodding in the dark and hoping it makes sense. I thought it was strange to get the grinch song with the cards I pulled but I’m glad it was something that can give you some helpful insight!! 

Yeah huge changes like that can be overwhelming but it always pays off to do something challenging that will improve your life in the future. Sorry to hear that you’re facing that challenge and I hope everything will get better for you soon!

Tokyo Mew Mew was one of my first too!! And slice of life are nice because they don’t make you think too much ahaha 😅

Yeah, my friend showed me the manga when we were in grade school, and I really enjoyed it, and it used to be on 4kids or whatever in the mornings, so I started watching it then, though not in any serious order or anything. It gave me an appreciation for the magical girl genre, that’s for sure, and I loved the character designs. 

Agreed, sometimes you just need to watch something mindlessly, get some laughs out of it, and take a break. Nichijou is wonderful for that for me, and I really enjoyed Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge as well. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun was also another one I enjoyed a lot. Chii’s Sweet Home is like a kiddy anime, technically, but that’s another one that’s just, fluff and cute galore, and that always cheers me up and makes me happy. ^^

I am not usually picky about this, but Idk how I feel about the art style. Like, it’s never stopped me from a show before. I liked Kill la Kill, and I know that its animation has stopped people from watching it. Hell, I even watched Ajin and really liked it, despite not being used to CGI anime. But I dunno if I could get past the art for that one lol.
