No #tbt desta semana vemos a demolição do antigo palácio do Governo do Estado de São Paulo em 1953, a partir da rua Roberto Simonsen. A remoção do palácio abriu espaço para ser construída a réplica do Pátio do Colégio que temos no local hoje em dia

yes, he can mega-evolve! he's just never had to get to that point canonically on this blog, yet, because it isn't something he's innately aware that he's capable of (since I basically consider mega evolution to be a 'latent' thing for earlier pokemon and regions in the franchise until it was introduced in Gen VI)

I also recall myself saying that I wouldn't give him the X form because ... well, I don't like the design of it. I find it quite ugly compared to Y, but Y has become kind of the staple image of the 'femme' Mewtwo and while I know I am very much allowed to let him evolve into that, it would be a struggle to mentally separate that connection.

I've been wanting to design a separate original mega form for him for years but the few times I've sat down and tried to doodle smth I scrapped the designs because I wasn't happy with it... maybe one day :(
