SHOP SHOUT-OUT Friday, December 11, 2020

My new candle from Vidas Wax Works arrived yesterday and I am pleased.

It also received a makeover; it used to be in a white tin with a black top and only one wick. Now it's a double-wick candle.

But they are getting this shout-out not only because of the candle quality, but also the customer service.

I received this candle because of what happened with the previous one; one of the wicks sank into it. After a discussion, we concluded that either I was trimming the wicks too short or the wick(s) was defective (it could have been both, which didn't occur to me until now).

Even though we came up with a solution to the dilemma of my old candle, which was to scoop out wax until the wicks were 1/4" tall, Chanda insisted on sending me another.

Hence the Shop Shout-Out; passion and compassion in one small business.
