Political and social double standards - racism in the USA, Israel and (Nazi) Germany. A historical comparison.
USA-Germany-Israel: the Mental Bermuda Triangle Three states play a special role in the imperial charade of the “West of values”: the USA, Germany and Israel. For the fiction of a West supposedly based on human rights, democracy and freedom, the triangle of these states creates special narratives of this fiction and at the same time represents the “Bermuda Triangle” in which historical truth…

Hi! Accidentally doxxed myself upon the second request (I forget to turn on anon). Do you mind if I go anonymous again?
Requesting platonic reader as the reincarnation of the Anemo Souvereign, yet not knowing about their true identity this time! A playful, witty soul yet reserved and understanding with Venti, Neuvillette and perhaps Zhongli?
Hope you take care of yourself. I'm grateful for the work, but your health matters, too!
🌙 anon
I don't mind, who you choose to request is not my business, and that you for worrying about me 🌙 anon. Don't forget to take care of yourself because you worry about me💙
You two met before Lantern Rite
You were a child that had befriended the Melusine
They would take about you, so Neuvillette got curious
He goes with the Melusine to meet you
When he sees you he notices a few things
1. You have ears like his
2. You were using Anemo powers
3. You had no vision or gnosis
He knows only the arachons, Traveler, and dragons like him can use the elements without visions
When he approached, you became the most respectful kid ever
He asked if you knew the Traveler
Reader: "Yeah, he helped Liyue, Mondstadt, Sumeru, and us,"
He sighs, and asks if you knew the Traveler personally, you said no
He knew you weren't a god because you felt so human
When the pieces were put together, I swear he turned pale
You were a street kid so you had no idea where you came from
Neuvillette is just staring as he realized that you're the reincarnation of the Anemo dragon, a member of his family
Keeping face, he talks with you and buys you food
He decodes to adopt you, because I say so
Furina adores you and so does Neuvillette
Your playfulness makes an appearance when you and Furina are together
Loves the jokes and puns you make in an effort to make him happy
Keeps that fact that you're the reincarnation of a dragon sovereign a secret
Treats you like his child, the same way he is with Furina
Teaches you how to keep this power in check, so nothing happens to you or anyone else
Takes you with him and Furina to Lantern Rite, where you wander off causing panic in him
You were at Lantern Rite with Neuvillette and Furina
You wandered off and Furina found you
Zhongli was with Hu Tao who ran up to Furina
They talked business while you stood with Zhongli
He introduced himself to you and it was clear you were shy
As the four of you walked, Zhongli was telling you about Liyue
He realizes you're a dragon when Furina accidentally lets it slip
Zhongli freezes a bit but recovers
Furina says it's a joke but he knows its not
Treats you like a grandchild
You're his dragon child
Will fight Neuvillette for custody like the divorced couple they are
You now spend certain times of year in Liyue
Teaches you how to be a dragon, and tries to get you to shape shift into a dragon form
Teaches you dragon things
Finds your wit and playfulness refreshing
Has you hang out with Hu Tao for the fun or both of you
Has to send letters to Neuvillette proving your safe
Takes you to the mountains to use your powers so no one gets hurt
Learns about it from Zhongli
When he meets you, he brings you to Dvalin
Hopes you and Dvalin bound as dragons
Makes a lot of jokes about you being a dragon
Loves your Anemo powers
Helps you control your powers
Plays around with you
You two have battles of wit regularly
Never tells anyone about your dragon side
Is like your fun uncle
Shows you his own powers
Asks if you can turn into a dragon
If not, takes you on Dvalin rides so you can experience flying
Shows you wind gliding as well
Ingeneral, all three love you and your dragon self. The try to help you master your powers and keep you dragon identity a secret from you for your own good.

View from the belfry tower of Ypres (Ieper), with the tower of the Saint-Martin's Cathedral in the distance.
A belfry or hall tower is a medieval watchtower with a storm bell. More generally, 'belfry' refers to an urban tower in the Southern Netherlands (read: Belgium and Northern France). This type of tower was often built on or attached to a town hall or commercial cloth hall and was the place where the city bells were hung. A group of 56 belfries in Belgium and France are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In the 13th century, the city of Ypres, as a testament to its power and wealth, built its public buildings in stone. And she does so with ambition: the Ypres cloth hall and the belfry are, at that time, one of the most impressive civil buildings in Europe! The Cloth Halls served as a covered sales and storage place for cloth on the (now arched) waterway, the Ieperlee. Construction of the halls was completed in 1304.
The Ypres belfry, 70 meters high, emphasizes the enormous importance of the cloth trade. This leads to the wealth and power of medieval Ypres. The belfry was the safest and best protected place in the city during the Middle Ages. It is also the storage place for the 'free letters' (documents declaring priviliges, local souvereignity and autonomy of the city) and for the treasury. The tower also serves as a weapons storage facility and as a watchtower to see approaching anemies of spot fires.
The tower, with its exception of the base was destroyed during the First World War and reconstructed.

Considering him and local souvereign are likely the same being just different versions (and probably even different incarnations), they are obliged to have thematically consistent issues. Meaning we will have two dragons having identity and existential crisis and feeling like they cannot really achieve what they strive for. If the Souvereign is not with humans and if Vishaps are still not doing well and judgement didn't come. All it means Hydro Souvereign fails no matter where he is, right?
all i can think of rn is two versions of neuvillette trying to get wriothesley's attention. one is a wise, worn and weary OG neuvillette and the other is literal, pure innocent baby neuvillette.
but also that, too. the idea of something something fixed events. could it be the inevitable failure of hydro sovereign? wriothesley's path to meropide? or something else?

LOOOL they are really starting discourse about how Palestine should be recognized as a souvereign nation state on a fucking Eurovision program. I mean it can't be in Eurovision if it isn't a nation state.
Next fun light-hearted dialogue between songs: Why the Armenian genocide needs to finally be properly addressed.

"The Secrets of Inquisition and Other Secret Societies in Spain" written by Victor de Féréal in 1845 (due to my researches, found out that behind this name is Madame de Suberwick) revised by M. de Cuendiaz and tranlated into German by L. von Alvensleben. The seamy shady side of history can sometimes be so dark and terrifying, that it could easily compete with every horror movie. The 16th century is not without cause, one of the darkest epochs.
“(…) if the one, who is ruling, would be a good shepherd, he would not allow greedy people to shear his sheeps, who would cut with the scissor down to the flesh, to get the wool together with the blood. The indulgence against the Inquisition is nothing more than political calculation. The love for gold is, what covers the empire with pyres.”
Sometimes acquiring a book and have no real clear expectations, it can fastly turn into astonishment. Do not know, why calculating with an historical non-fictional book, I've achieved an amazing fictional book, that is creativily integrating "The Secrets" and "Underworld Jargon" into a romantic frame-story:
Sevilla in 1534 under King Charles V., the Catholic sale of indulgences at the zenith, just some decades after the Reconquista and rediscovery of "El Nuevo Mundo"- The daughter of the governor gets harassed by the Grand-Inquisitor, though in panic and overstrained by this unexpected and faith-shaking attack, she can fend off his voluptuous intentions. Undismayed the Grand-Inquisitor hires "Los Hermanos De Gardunia" an underground organisation, asking to carry out a contract killing of her fiancé. What an unexpected twist as a Serena (~decoy duck, often young, beautiful women) has sympathy with her age-mate and convincing her partner, who is a Guapo (quite high in the command structure) to help the unfortunate. Spiritual and sacred assistance they get by two priests, who could harldy be more different: Joseph, a minion of the Grand-Inquisitor, belonging to the Dominican Order- Johann, an itinerant preacher of the Fransiscan Order Their conversations and debates about hyprocrisy, Protestant Reformation, abuses of power, the genuine faith (just to name some relevant topics) were not only explicid and lucid, but comprehensible through seeking salvation in the simplicity of the teachings of Jesus: Love and strive to achieve perfection <3
"The luck is here", said the Apostle and laid his hand on his chest.
For an easier in-depth look I decided to share some of my notes:
In the first centuries of Christianity, popes and priests followed the paths of the Apostles- As long as they were religiously persecuted and suppressed, Christian sovereigns walked humble with God- But --> Roman Empire, who saw its general power endangered and frightened by popular uprisings, so demandment for ruling was executed through Proselytism
It is not really clear who "invented" the Inquisition, some historians locate the origin in Gregory IX. and his appointment of Dominican and Fransiscan Order as executors of Inquisition- -> Extensive preparatory work "Concilium Veronese" in 1184
1231 -> Papal bull by Gregory IX., forbidding of reading the Bible in profane language
Resistance and Oppenents -> Since early XV. century bloody fights in los commones y cortes defining "Genuine Religious Belief" against the Obscurantism of Roman hegemony -> Significant historic persons: Isabella I. of Castile - Juan de Ávila - Marie de Bourgogne (grandmother of former King Charles V.)- Maria de Bohorques - John of God (big meaning in medicine, bequethed more than 60 hospitals after his death)
King Charles V. and the Reformation -> When taking up his duties, he wanted to eliminate the Inquisitional Court with the support of Wilhelm von Croy and Selvagio BUT -> The Inquisition served political interestes and was used to strenghten and ensure the own throne -> Many souvereigns were affraid to lose their power due to the reformation, so they became members of the Inquisition (it was the surest way to save material possession) -> The King just had the right to write a "Plea" if he wanted the Court to close proceedings, but as his personal preacher Alphons Vivuez got arrested (been accused for his closeness to Reformation), he has no power, cause:
"Charles V. was the King of Spain and the Inquisition was the King of Charles V."
Organised Crime and the Inquisition (This needs a whole book for itself, it is a shame, how pure religion was instrumentalized and deformed for fleshy desires... no wonder, that distrust is still shaking through the bone and soul- what an abuse!) -> Most of the criminals are part of the Spanisch gypsy population called Los Gitanos -> there were several Oranganised Criminal Brotherhoods, but the most important was the "Brotherhood of Gardunia" -> 1821, abrogation of the "Gardunia", register of period 1520 - 1667 gives evidence for 1986 single orders directly from the Inquisition one-third of the cases were kidknappings of girls and women [!!!]
Court of Inquisition -> In every Spanish city was a street called "Callejón de la Inquisición", in the vicinity was the "Castillo de la Inqusición", therein were "The Tribunal Hall" - a chancellery - different kind of chambers (e.g. to repent, which meant long time of isolation and darkness, directly under the attic floor...) and of course the prison, thrirty foot (~9 metres) belowground, 6-8 prisenors in 8,64 m2 ... imagine the only light entering is just a small stripe directly under the ceiling (so to speak the curbstone's cracks...) and the stench [!!!] -> The aim was to torture the inmate as long as it takes to make him confess all of his sins, there were different kind of sinners and "offenses", but in the end, it always ended in social ostracism and/or death -> It was part of the system to make denuncuation as easy and anonym as possible, the denuncuation of important members of the public was not only a guarantor for entering the "Militia Christo" (one of the many institutions to stabilize this greedy malediction...) it also strenghten the power of the Inquisition, incorporating all possession and tracing the descendants -> The Autodafé was kind of the termination of Inquisitional trail, especially festive orchestration were used for demonstrating power and also for fobbing up the folk with gold and alcohol, turning pyres into great spectacles -> In the courtroom, the Throne of Inquisition was higher than the King's throne [!!!] -> So no wonder, that the Supreme Court (established by Fernando de Aragonia) and its court decisions were violated [e.g. the age limit, forbidding to arrest human-beings under 10 and above 60 years ... but the sad example of Maria of Burgundy, who was 85 years old and loved by the folk as the "Mother of the Poor", shows again, how terrible the Inquisition was... torturing her until her death with 90 years, protesting her innocence till her last gasp] -> The procession of the Inquisition was a parade to demonstrate their power, in the first row were the charcoal burner, who had the "privilige" to supply the pyres with wood, which was free of charge
Suppression of the Folk -> Considering the estate-based society, it must be heartrending to think of the discrepancy of the so called God's will and the hypocrisy of the Inquisition- confusing the genuine belief and replacing values with material -> Fear and civilian espionage were the most effective tools of repression, exploiting the blank belief of the majority
"They accustomed the folk to worhsip the materia, the Divine is for them nothing but an altar made of marble and gold."
Other historical facts -> 1484 fanatic monk Thomas de Torquemada started explicit long-term persuits -> The Inquisition in Portugal was established by J. P. de Saavedra and was supported by the Jesuits -> Donkeys were not only helpful for hard fieldwork, those modest and peaceful poor animals were also used to transport the accussed ones to their destination, their ears were cut off, so the hangman can not sell this sadly accursed creature- but also the Spanish King was carried by mules, except on sunday and holidays [also very exciting, how this liason was appreciated in many cultures for their strenght and modesty in one] -> Moorisch-Andalusian culture, actually all bloomings of the Caliphate, were aggressively suppressed - many insults of today are still attacking converted persons (e.g. the knights of La Abencerraje), especially under Deza and Torquemada - many cultural heritages of the Moors were "racked and ruined", but it is still interesting to find hints of the legacy in language and pronunciation -> Lettre de change - an invention of Jewish and Muslim population in the time of the caliphate, emerged as a compromise solution: By sending their financial backup abroad, they prepared their exile and the poor end of the wonderful, up-lifting and productive epoch, in which all three religion worked and lived peacefully together on the Ibererian peninsula
“You, who could just love and praise, why are you tolerating the crimes of those hangmen?” - “To purify the Good”, said a voice next to me.

Dark Kingdom - Characters 1
Characters that exist, but aren't yet important enough for a full bio.
Garal: Orc, The former king, Aethras Grandfather. Not related to any of his children and grandchildren but still loved them. Was only in a romantic relationship with his first husband, who died long ago, the rest of his spouses were platonic.
Noria: gold elf, one of Garals wifes and his best friend. Raised Aethras mother. He saved her from a forced marriage to an abusive fortune hunter and she married him afterwards so that nobody can ever force her again. She reigns over everything pertaining to etiquette, festivities and protocol.
Aydin: Human. The court wizard. Aethras teacher and later Felix'. Actually a prince from a not yet named eastern country (planned as Ottoman Empire mixed with Hittite mythology for now) who didn't want to fight his brothers for the throne and faked his death. A powerful sorcerer but a terrible poet.
Marisa: Human Aethras valet and her best friend since childhood. Contracted the red plague and died.
Margaretha: Human. The seventh daughter of minor souvereign count. Was send to the dark kingdom as a bride to curry favor. Decided to stay in the castle when given a choice. Helps Aethra with diplomacy.

August 22 is the feast day of The Queenship of Mary
Source of picture: Catholic art on Pinterest
Prayer of Intercession to our Lady, Queen of Angels
Queen of Heaven,
sovereign queen of Angels,
you who at the beginning
received from God
the power and the mission to crush the head of Satan,
we beseech you humbly,
send your holy legions so that,
on your orders and by your power,
they will track down demons,
fight them everywhere,
curb their audacity and plunge them into the abyss.
Who can be compared to God?
Oh good and tender Mother,
you will always be our love and our hope.
Oh divine Mother,
send the Holy Angels and Archangels to defend me
and to keep the cruel enemy far from me.
Holy Angels and Archangels defend us,
protect us. Amen.

Some potential "Jon Snow" sequel thoughts
Now full disclosure, I predicted that the GOT series ending went down the way it did to make room for a sequel back in 2019, so...I'm invested and may be psychic. BUT ANYWAY: I see a lot of Jonsas and Jon Snow stans in general (of good sense) are nervous about the news that a Jon Snow sequel in the works, so here's what I'm thinking, should this project come to fruition-----
Any Jon-centered show would needs-must address:
-Why Jon went from being uninterested in D@ny to pledging the North to her souvereignity.
-Why Jon defended her BUT emotionally and physically abandoned D@ny from 8x02 to his eventually assassination of her in 8x07.
-What were Jon's actually feelings about his identity of being a Stark bastard being turned upside down with the reality of him being a (ugh) legitimate Targ heir.
-Why EXACTLY he went from arguing with Tyrion to stabbing D@ny in the heart in about 15 minutes.
I can only imagine that Kit Harington's participation in this sequel series is contingent on giving his boy Jon's dumbass behavior S7 & S8 some justification. Why? Because if he was happy with the implied story of S7&8: that Jon fell suddenly fell in love with D@ny and betrayed his Northern people for a woman he knew all of a two months, but also who he was subsequently willing to emotionally withdraw from at her lowest point, and ALSO was ultimately able to assassinate, all because the warnings he IGNORED from Sansa and Arya were proven right? Well, he wouldn't be involved with this project, would he? BUT HE IS!
I personally feel confident that show!Jonsa is coming with this development (because it makes sense for GRRM's true endgame and after all: House of the Dragon will make the promise of a brunet Targ prince and Stark girl marrying a show canon prophecy), but even if that is not the case: this means that show-Jon will have to explictedly to own up to being wrong about D@ny when Sansa was NOT and, in the interest of plot, he will have to grow from where he is as a person at the beginning of the show to be satisfying. This can be nothing but a win for people pissed off about Jon's characterization S7 & S8 (because if he continues being an incomprehensible and stubbornly dumb character and doesn't realistically redeem himself, that's a death-knell for the continuing GOT franchise in the eyes of the general public forever, and if anything, HBO cares$$$ about THAT).
And NO: D@nerys will not be resurrected because there is no redeeming her after killing innocent people, especially children, on screen.

'A textbook about Law of Nations shall not forget, that it would be unfaithful to its task, if it would serve under politics.'
Franz von Liszt, criminologist (cf. Theory of criminal justice), jurist and reformer for international law and his book "International Law- Systematically Presented", was originally published in 1888. This edition is the eleventh edition from 1918 and was published "the second time against the backdrop of a war" as Liszt had written. Still not lost his enthusiam, he defines the Internation Law as the mechanism to prevent wars, the outbreak of war as the proof, that the contention between the states should have been mediated in a way, that the armed conflict could have been prevented. The (re-)building of International Law is the (re-)building of Right to Peace.
It is not just the Right of War, which takes part in the theories of International Law, but it is the primary drive behind the rising and fall of states.
The Law of Nations, how it was called from former times, is not an invention of modern times, it is not just the utopian dream of a single enthusiastic pacifist.
Just war traditions can be traced back to Ancient Egypt, the ethics with the three main ideas: Cosmological role of the Pharao as divine office and executor of the justification of war, which would be considered as 'God's Will' or the Universal Principle of Maat. In the Confucian culture, we can also find massive body work of warforce, especially in the Zhou Dynasty (~ 1122 BC). Here a similarity to the defined necessety or justification of war: Only as last resort (ultima ratio) and by a rightful souvereign (the requirements for sovereignty are still today the prerequisite for legal actions, also war is technically just a conflict between two sovereign states, in our sanity and reason we would include all violent confrontation..). Even in India, we should not lead ourselves to believe in all ascetical will-denial and yoga exercises, can theories of Just War be found (cf. dharma-yuddha ~ rightous war). In this very first written discussion, criterias like proportianlity, just means, just causes, fair treatment of captives and wounded, are stated (cf. Hague Convention of 1899). Not to forget the Ancient Roman legal system and the concept of jus gentium and later in Christian world, the Augustinian teaching of civitas dei, lead also to restrictions of warfare. Essential are also the theories formed in the period of enlightment, Bentham (by forming ideas for foreign policy, the term international was coined by Bentham by critizing the idea of "Law of Nations", as one central aspect of his Plan for an Universal and Perpetual Peace is the sacrifice of national self-interest [giving up colonies and armies, that are not necessary protecting] in order to establish global peace) and his codification of international law, Kant with several state theories and ways to guarantee perpetual peace, in the main consideration is the formulation of ius cosmopoliticum and that the Handelsgeist (spirit of trading) can achieve peace worldwide.
It is an usual represal that still today sanctions and embargos are used to put other states under (economic) pressure, which can be fatal in a highly globalized world and often tends to effect the civilian population rather than the ruling elite... Economy and trading is indeed an essential part in international legal relation, as the first international laws and regulation emerged through private law and the merchants demand for freedom of trade throughout history. So freedom of movement goes hand in hand with freedom of trading, just think of postal service (Universal Postial Union 1874) and the difficulties if the operating range would be limited or the process of translating and publishing foreign literature, all those aspects fall into the regulations of international law.
The theories of Just War firstly expanded beyond the borders of one nation around the 16th century, particularly during the discovery age (cf. theories of Suárez & Vitoria) and the Thirty Years' War (Hugo Grotius, who also devided positive and natural law, father of the Theory of Extraterritoriality; Successors of positive law: Zouch, Pufendorf, C. Wolff and his student Vattel [...] Later the School of Postive Law succeeded over the School of Natural Law: In particular by Bynkershock, later followed by J. J. Moser and G. F. v. Martens), affirming other principles like the territorial claim, the areas and rules of traffic (from maritime law to regulation of coastlines) and which legal consequences come into force, when a state is breaching treaty obligations.
The International Law had to built and strenghen itself as the diplomacy took over armed conflicts. First and foremost, the League of Nations is instructed to develop and expand the court of arbitration, also to limit armament and therefore the endangerment of piece. Part of the international diplomacy are also embassies and consuls, guaranteing constitutional jurisdiction.
It is deplorable, that the period of colonialism merged into imperialism and that the politcal efforts excluded the inhabitants of conquered areas. Law has also the paradoxy that it can be unjustly: By defining the terms (when can an area be considered as a sovereign state? Which subjects are authorized for legal capacity?) even unfairly acts can be legally protected.
International Law is a huge topic and it would be interesting to present treatise and the consequences after ratification, as every act is the answer of long and often armed conflicts, resulting into negotiations. It will stay a continuous process to establish an effective International Court of Justice, a balancing act between the sovereignty of a state and the endangerment of human rights, which sadly can't be ensured for the most parts of the world.
