Adventure of the day - out walking just now & saw a little girl about 12 coming towards me crying her eyes out, turns out she’d seen this pigeon get hit by a car & had stopped the traffic to get him out of the road but then didn’t know what to do. So we’ve just taken a trip down to the @southessexwildlife Trust who are going to look after him. After the exhausting and sad week I’ve had, this card coming through the door from the @southessexwildlife trust was a little boost that I definitely needed. They’ve always been so friendly, caring and helpful whenever I’ve dropped animals in. Today my adventure around our nature reserve today took an unexpected turn - found an injured pigeon and couldn’t leave him but didn’t really know what to do! Luckily the @southessexwildlife were willing to look at him if I took him there in a box, rang the bell and left.
