#This Time He Brought Beers And Stayed Awake

So I'm rewatching Ballum scenes from the beginning & I'm up to when Ben got shot. And what always gets me when I watch those scenes (aside from the ballum of it all ofc) is how the pub is so packed full of people and then you have Ben Mitchell, who has so many walls up at all times around almost everyone (more especially so back then) and because of his injury he ends up being so vulnerable and open infront of all of them. Everyone in that pub, no matter their opinion of him- is hearing a man talking about his little girl and telling a story he came up with for her because he loves her so much. Idk I just think about if Ben ever thought about how vunerable he was infront of them all & if everyone kept that side they saw of him in their minds. I think part of it was Ben saw Callum and how safe he was with him to talk like he did. I mean even Whitney was moved, she felt that care and connection they had between them. Anyways, they're all absolutely brilliant actors & I miss ballum v much !
