How we like to end the day. A mostly empty truck. A long day but some good time spent with my wife and daughter. I was able to meet up with 2 out of 3 customers, which is about par for the course on these deals. I have had a run on my kiln dried incense cedar stock recently! I have ended up with these nice cut-offs. About 36 degrees and raining this morning here in Glide. Great Monday morning planning and reflection @the_atom_coffee_bar. I am definitely firmly on the small business roller coaster. December was super slow, then as soon as Christmas was over I had a TON of inquires, but then only a handful of small sales panned out, then these exciting opportunities to collaborate came along, and had some good sales over the weekend. I take even the smallest sale as a victory, and keep following up every lead. I am reflecting on a couple good weeks sales.wise this morning at @mycoffeeroseburg, and some good potential for the next couple. In order for everything to work though is going to require some good logistical planning. I try also not to get excited about the big sales. I have found that they are the hardest to reel in and finalize. Someone gets sick, someone backs out, or folks just drop off the map. Probably of all the contacts I get, probably only about a third end up in a sale. Of anything over a few hundred bucks, even less.
