Braid Burn, Cameron Toll Edinburgh.
Almost 9 miles long, this burn originates at Bonaly skirtsBraid Hill via Braid Valley Park, the Hermitage of Braid, Blackford Glen, Inch Park towards Cameron Toll where it goes into a culvert and under the shopping centre there re-emerging at Peffermill where it is joined by the Jordan Burn, and at Duddingston its name changes to the Figgate Burn. It flows on to enter the Firth of Forth at Portobello.

Scotland and Norway played against each-other in the qualification for the European Championship in football, and so Oslo was flooded with Scots that one weekend in June. Some of them were surprised it was so hot in Norway 😅 but luckily most of them were wearing kilts, giving more ventilation...

An early morning walk around the historic Dumfries town centre in the south of Scotland - what a lovely and underrated place to visit! We weren't there for very long but are looking forward to going back during the summer - lovely walk along the river! 😀 Hope you enjoy!

I am very excited to be leading a roundtable with Dr. Saad Quasem from SOAS on scriptural research on the 17th of May, 11:30-12:30pm. I will be discussing some of the questions I have been asking myself in my Mahābārata research, such as, how can a canonical character be reimagined and rewritten for different aims and needs? What is the flexibility of canon? Which voices are the ones that are heard?
Thank you, Sambhavi Ganesh, for your initiative in making this roundtable happen. ❤️‍🔥
You can register for the conference here: https://forms.office.com/e/4Y13jv4dbF.

Stewart Brewing Ka Pai South Pacific Pale Ale (Picked up at Margiotta in Edinburgh, Scotland). A 3 of 4. Light, bright, and tropical, this is quite refreshing and nice. Some complexity to the tropical fruit beyond the usual pineapple and citrus you'd get, and a clean, dry finish. Also nice to see a hop profile like this on a lighter, non-hazy body as a change of pace.

I never thought of this but... But I'm going to suggest, if you hadn't tried The Music Box and Firth of Fifth by Genesis, please take a look. (you appreciate Romantic period music and so on like myself, so I wonder if you'd like them as I do!)
They're both really cool, thank you! I really love the piano intro of firth of fifth. I haven't listened to much genesis before so it's good to have recommendations. I also like that firth of fifth is a pun on firth of forth, which is very dear to my heart

Haunted Spirits at The Banshee Labyrinth Pub
The metal bar called the Banshee Labyrinth is located in parts of the haunted underground vaults of Edinburgh. And today the place has some haunted stories to tell as well. Read about them all in the MoonMausoleum.
The metal bar called the Banshee Labyrinth is located in parts of the haunted underground vaults of Edinburgh. And today the place has some haunted stories to tell as well. Everything from ghost children, accused witches, irish folklore creatures and an annoying ghost in the ladies toilet, this pub houses them all. What can be a more haunted place than a rock and metal bar located in the haunted…

Ironically, the custom began to protect the bride from demons, so I can certainly see Aziraphale doing this to protect Crowley from Hell.
words cannot explain the desperation I have for aziraphale to bridal carry crowley into a certain south downs cottage while crowley is bright red because how did he not know his angel could do that??
