fun fact if you don't use he/him and while ur chatting with a native chinese speaker and they refer to you by he/him it's possible that they're not intentionally misgendering you, it's just a language mistake because the default pronoun (they/them) in chinese is the same one as he/him, so usually it's customary to refer to someone whose pronouns you don't know as he/him. so basically they're using he/him as they/them, so they're not misgendering you on purpose! feel free to correct them:) of course if they refuse they're cunts and extend them no more grace than deserved
