I got really tired of not having a yarn swift and needed to make some yarn into balls, so I decided to try an antique/thrift shop, found a yarn swift one immediately, realizing it was $48 and not even free standing, went to two others, at the third found a $2 wooden cross, decided to just go to home depot, found everything I needed including a power drill that was 60% off, built this, and realized that it all came to a bit less than $48 with gas. I did forget where I put my drill bits, so the nails are temporary until I find them and put in the 6 in dowels. Anyway. I'm doing fucking great. Crafty dykes make do.
