He enjoys music and makes a living from it. With the band Joker Out, they've reached new heights in recent years, from performing on small Slovenian stages to participating in Eurovision and playing concerts across Europe. In this interview, he shares a bit about himself and his music career.

1. What would you do if you weren’t involved in the music business?

Probably something related to international relations, which I also studied.

2. Which one of the songs you've released is your personal favourite and why?

This changes from day to day, of course, but at the moment I would say, it’s the song 'Vse kar vem' from the album Demoni. Perhaps the main reason is that I also co-wrote it.

3. What’s the most unusual thing about your fans?

Definitely the fact that we have fans from all over the world. It’s quite extraordinary and wonderful for a band that people travel such long distances from their homes just to see and hear us.

4. Memories from Eurovision.

Eurovision was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and so-called “once in a lifetime” experiences for us. There was a lot of joy and laughter, but also plenty of nerves and stress. We have many great memories of Eurovision as a band, and personally, I have the fondest memories of all the amazing people we met along the way.

5. Can you share an interesting story about the creation of a specific song?

The song 'Novi val', again from the album Demoni, was created just a day before we had to finish recording. It was inspired by the wildfires that were spreading through the Karst region in 2022.

6. As a band, do you prefer performing on Slovenian or international stages, and why?

We love both equally, but performing abroad is still something special because we all love travelling so much.

7. How was the band formed?

It all started in secondary school. We were members of two high school bands, who got to know each other and joined forces to create something even bigger and better.

8. Which concert do you personally remember the most?

The concert at Križanke for the release of our second album. It was the last concert with our former bassist Martin. It was a very emotional and memorable event for all of us.
