Cotta: Ich bin also ein hohes Tier?
Goodween: Tut mir leid, es Ihnen so plötzlich zu eröffnen. Verstehe ich also diese ganze Befehlskettenkiste richtig?
Cotta: Ja, ja. Wenn sich jemand beschwert, war alles meine Idee.

Most Funniest Sarcasm Quotes
Occasionally you need to put people of their place. Specifically those internet trolls, who have the 'i-can-write-anything-i-want' mind-set. Whilst logical debates and arguments lose their sheen, you could resort to sarcasm. If you want to apply sarcasm to stop a pointless argument or to reduce down a narcissist to size, use those humorous sarcastic rates. With a biting retort, you may have the final word, and the ultimate chuckle.
1. "half of the sector is composed of idiots, the other half of of human beings clever sufficient to take indecent advantage of them." - walter kerr

30 with Aaron Cash and Crane, please!
Dr. Joan Leland had just finished her session with Jervis Tetch and was on her way back to her office when a noise caught her attention. It was a dull, thudding sound, gradually increasing in intensity the further she walked down the corridor. It seemed to be coming from…intensive treatment. She quickened her pace. By the time she’d reached the Level A cells, she was running. Finally, she reached the source of the noise and her heart dropped. Crane’s cell.
The door was open ajar and she could hear shouting. She threw the door wide and saw Crane pinned to the floor, both arms jerked behind his back, and Aaron Cash on top of him. “Stay still, you sick fuck!”
“Get off of me!” Crane hissed. “Release me or you will know the true meaning of fear!”
“Aaron!” Joan shouted. “Just what is going on here!?”
Aaron looked up at her in surprise, not allowing his grip on Crane to loosen. “It’s not what it looks like-”
“This is brutality!” Crane shouted. “He attacked me for no reason!”
“I had a damn good reason, Crane!” Aaron shouted back. “Creepy son of a bitch threw a spider at me!”
“I did not!”
“You did too!”
“I did not!”
“Bullshit!”
“Stop it! Both of you!” Joan ran a hand down her face and tried in vain to will her oncoming migraine away. “Aaron, let him go. Jonathan, it’s time for your appointment with Dr. Kellerman.”
Aaron reluctantly let go of Crane’s arms and stomped out of the cell. Another guard walked in to help Crane up and escort him to his session. Before they left, Joan leaned in. “Did you really throw a spider at Aaron?”
Jonathan’s cackle told her everything she needed to know.

New Blog:  Books Unite Us
This week is Banned Books Week.  It is a celebration of the freedom to read.  The freedom to seek and express ideas.  The theme of this year’s week is “Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us.”  How appropo!  To me, it is important to be able to have access to information.  Reading books from the past that may present ideas that are shocking in our times, but were realistic for their time.  Reading novels that are shocking in their presentation of ideas that are new or different should be available.  Teaching people to read a variety of sources and novels allows us to consider other points of view, realistic ideas or not.
Censorship harms the sharing of ideas.   Censoring material based on  other people’s opinions (whether it be the government, a church, a religion, or a governing body) because they find the information objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient" is wrong.  Censorship divides us from understanding so much!
Elise Cooper sent in a new interview with Melinda Leigh and her book, Right Behind Her.  The book is a gripping read that suggests readers will be on the edge of their seat.  There is also a new Guest Review of a new book called Shot Caller by Jen J Danna.
Read this week books that allow you to think, to consider, to ponder or just to be amused.
Books read this week:
Taming My Whiskey by Melissa Foster
The Santa Suit by Mary K Andrews
The Burning by Jonathan and Jesse Kellerman

Micro review: 'The Museum of Desire' by Jonathan Kellerman - Times of India

Micro review: 'The Museum of Desire' by Jonathan Kellerman - Times of India
‘The Museum of Desire’ is the 35th part of the Alex Delaware series and the story starts with a cleaner finding a limo with 4 bodies inside. One of the dead is the driver, another a grown man with mental issues who lived in a care home, a homeless woman and an attorney who worked for a respectable company. Police Lieutenant Milo Sturgis is on the case and trying to find some connection amongst the clients. He calls Alex for help and both set about solving the murders.
The book reads more like a police procedural than a thriller, though the story is interesting enough to keep you hooked. The book offers many insights on homelessness and psychological issues as Milo and Alex look into the victims’ lives. It’s a must-read for the fans of the series. Those unfamiliar with the series won’t have any trouble starting with this book, though they might glean spoilers to the previous books.
