I've had Quite Enough of bootlickers on the internet saying parasite is about the "shitty attitudes" of poor people holding them back, and that the Kim family was "worse" than the Parks because of the things they did. Hottest take was "they should've just been happy with what they had".

why do you people want to protect the rich so bad

#parasite #'be content w what you have' ah yes. a semi basement in the slums #flooded with sewage water. a toilet gurgling with liquid shit whenever theres heavy rain.#sounds reasonable. i mean why reach for anything better? be like the basment dweller #thank god for the rich who so generously incarcerated you in the hellhole you live in :)#be HAPPY that you work 60 hours a fucking week and can barely afford a fucking apartment in the ghetto #nevermind that the amount of money you make the company is about 10x as much as what they pay you.#smile! the great mr. park cut your wages and you still cant leave your shitty semi basement home #im sorry this just gets me so damn heated #and i say this.......FROM A PRIVILEGED STANDPOINT #i would GLADLY downgrade from the home I live in (which isnt mine) to one the size of my room #id gladly live off of the bare necessities if it meant everyone else could too #whats unfortunate is that i myself am living a privileged life that is unstable #once i have to move out im likely going to live in the ghetto #and ive done it before so it doesnt terrify me but like. i could get laid off.#and my job is really the only reason i can go to school rn. i got lucky to work for ups. not everyone makes it.#and every other job besides this one? doesnt pay as well (despite the fact that this job has beeb the easiest for me)#doesnt have a union or doesnt allow one. and treats us like property. ups treats us like assets.#in short: i got lucky.#yall the 'middle class' really is disappearing. hard skills are virtually worthless.#education expenses are STILL skyrocketing and education is now a requirement for entry level work.#parasite is not 'up to interpretation' or 'vague'. its pretty fucken clear who the parasites are #the poor families murdered one another. fought tooth and nail for scraps.#the parks sat at the table above them with gourmet meals.#and did mr park work for it? did he work like mr kim? did he degrade himself the way mr kim was forced to for his paycheck??#hes younger than mr. kim. he evidently doesnt know what its like to be poor; safe to assume he never was.#the parks are the parasites. THEY are the roaches scattering at the suggestion of facing their victims #and they have the audacity to tell the kims that the roles are reversed.#ok rant over.#i wish bong joon ho would release a statement saying outright 'the upper class are leeches. thank you'
