surprise surprise, i love waluigi and tails, but seeing as waluigi was actually mentioned, i thought i may as well.

i love waluigi. he's my own little personal silly little guy. i have a continuous physical fact file because i love reasearching him. he's become one of my special interests.

i love the weird ambiguousness of his lore. i love how hes a flirty, somewhat feminine guy and yet chooses to hang about with wario. i love his 'ugly' features, partially because i get an excuse to use super bright colours when drawing him sometimes, partially because i like them from a character designer's perspective and partially because it sets him apart and makes him unique. fair enough, he has a lot in common with wario in terms of his eternally grinning mouth, his extreme moustache and the colouring of his face, but he a drastically different face and body shape.

sometimes when i mention to people 'oh yeah i like waluigi' i have to control my rage as they like him in an ironic way and think i do too, but its completely sincere. sure, it started kinda ironic, but then he became a genuine interest of mine that i love and cherish for no real reason other than 'autism ig'.

waluigi's mannerisms, his style, his personality, everything, makes me just wanna explode every time i see him.

below im going to go on a rant about theories and whatnot. i dont want this to cover your entire dash, so im breaking it up here.

i cant remember who said it, but i read on here that seeing as his real name is jimmy poppalopados, its a bit suspicious that there's a character in warioware (my favourite warioware at that) called jimmy p, with a similar(ish) moustache, same nose, similar face shape etc. whose whole thing is effectively just copying others (ie jimmy t). for anyone who hasnt played smooth moves, 1) i highly recommend it 2) jimmy t's cutscene is effectively of a load of cats dancing with him. jimmy p's cutscene is the same but with dogs and with it being at day instead of night.

on the topic of his relationship with wario, i change my mind a lot. in general, i tend to lean towards lovers, or sometimes friends, but then someone will tell me a brilliant reason which only works if theyre brothers. it's a whole who-harring to do and so i change my mind a lot. usually i go with lovers tho.

not at all a theory, this is a headcanon, i know this probably would never even be slightly implied (though, nintendo have been more accepting of this lately), but god i love transmasc waluigi. whether he's a man or masc non binary, i love him being trans. me and my friends were joking about this earlier, but now i genuinely love the idea that wario is a sugar daddy but the two do genuinely love each other. it sounds kinda silly but yeah. yeah.

regardless, wario payed for his top surgery.

also, heres some fanart im proud of! i dont usually use alcohol markers because they dry too quickly and they bleed through the page, but i liked this (also i have no blending marker or good markers for pale skin tones)

i forgot to mention but i also hate when people 'yassify' him to make him hot. i overreact, ik, but god i just wanna go feral sometimes when i see people trying to draw him as more attractive. accept him for who he really is and stuff.
