Round 1 Part 5
PROPAGANDA
Claudia:
Claudia the Witch is the owner of the magic shop; Incense & Amulets, which she frequently hypnotises people to come to at midnight. Arnie describes her appearance as that of a grizzled hag, which Claudia takes as a compliment. She is 60 years old (though is proud to appear older), has green hair, and wears a hat.
The Soulwalker:
A Soul Walker is a necromantic creature in a rotting shell made up of multiple souls. They are created by necromancers, often at the behest of The Dark Lord.
The Soul Walker that came to the tavern was sent by the Dark Lord to learn more of Arnie. In exchange for learning how Arnie can travel between dimensions it offered to let him see his … or at least make him a new corpse wife. It was defeated (for a while) by Arnie erasing the rune on its forehead.

I finally finished the second chapter of this doodle comic!
Basically from a translation machine:
It's called notes, but it's really bullshit time:
(I didn't put any asterisks in the "text" in order to make the picture cleaner and not make this little comic seem too serious)
①WX says that their body "doesn't have any of those really advanced things" and that "the concept is just bionic", which might make you wonder how WX can agree with their own shortcomings when they are always been so confident in their own machine body. This is kind of a guess: WX's comments in the wiki about Wagstaff being "afraid of progress" and "short-sighted", combined with WX's usual machine-worshiping and violent tendencies, such as their comments about Maxwell "He has that kind of power but he doesn't go out and destroy human". So it's an offense to them, but they actually agree that even though they claim to be superior, I guess WX would like to see their bodies more advanced and even more radical.
② Yes, this WX has acceleration circuits installed.
③ Gnome get✓ Do you guys remember the line where WX checks the Gnome
④ "You're not as kind as you look", how should I put this one, because the Wilson I understand is more or less with a little bit of darkness in his mind, he's someone who is full of emotions but often restrains them with reason, he fears and hates the negative impulses and instincts within himself. And this trait I think probably comes from his good nature, his education and survival experiences and the influence of the Shadow Throne. (But honestly after suffering in CONSTANT for so long, it's normal for whoever it is to be a little psychologically unhinged, not to mention the SANITY setting.) And after WX's soulwalking, they easily have some "psychic empathy" with Wilson... ...... Well, how did that happen Wilson?
⑤ Well I know the reasoning of the empathy module episode is weird ...... In fact, it's mainly because when I drew this plot I didn't have a good understanding of the empathy module, and simply thought of it as something like "emotional deficiency", so this episode was supposed to be Wilson saying "why do I still feel emotional ups and downs blabla" and then WX explaining that it's because of "memories of emotional experiences", which would have made a lot more sense.
⑥I guess it's my own personal setting: although the game doesn't make a distinction, I don't think WX as a robot would have a "headache and blurred vision due to lack of sanity". The system will be affected, sure, but the physiology won't necessarily feel it. It's hard to go from luxury to frugality, and since there is no experience in the eternal realm in the human era, WX can't adapt to the negative impacts of sanity reduction at all.
⑦Wilson's curiosity and desire to explore and then equipped with WX's hardware strength is simply ON FIRE. and "adapting to the human body so quickly" this conclusion mainly comes from the last chapter when the two people just transformed the body, Wilson's side is very difficult, while the WX on the contrary, it seems to be very easy. Even when they suddenly possessed internal organs, blood, light weight and so on, there was no adverse reaction. Wilson, who loves to observe, has always had suspicions (sorry however I didn't draw this clue out)
⑧ on the one hand, just learned a shocking secret, excited and energetic Wilson, on the other hand is the history of the exposure, and is also experiencing unprecedented headache WX. so the two temperament is not quite the same as usual.
⑨ "Wiped of most of their human memories" from the game's credits: "Suddenly recalling the memories of his past life, WX-78 soon decides to change his fate on his own."
⑩ Those of you who have fought Shadow creatures online might know that the only way a teammate's Shadow creature will have hatred for you is if you've forcibly attacked them. What happened here is that WX forced an attack on Wilson's Shadow Creature (except that Wilson was still relying on his headache of empirical judgment and didn't realize that his SANITY was too low), and then WX's own shadow creatures that were looming all showed up as well, which is why it became so much more. I don't have a very comprehensive understanding of this mechanic online though, and it doesn't seem to be very rigorous, so that's probably what it is anyway.
I accidentally added a lot more, mainly because of the limited ability to express the drawing ... Hope you enjoy!

Book recommendations - a-spec characters
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't have a lot of books that fit this category unfortunately, but I've read a couple of good ones recently so I figured I might as well make list for a-spec books. I'll list the specific representation for each book as well. These books are all YA fantasy but still very different types of books, so I hope there's something here for everyone looking for more a-spec characters.
I'll start with Fire Becomes Her by Rosiee Thor
This is a stand alone fantasy set in a 1920s jazz age inspired world. This world has magic in the form of flare, a hot magic substance that can be mined and is used in various ways, including heating and electricity, but also mixed in drinks for rich people, or to give you temporary fire/heat magic. The premise is largely based around huge flare inequality, with poor people not having enough to heat their homes whereas rich people are sitting on vast amounts of flare they're either not using or using for useless things like putting it in drinks. Ingrid was born very poor, but has been given the chance to move up in society by attending a school for rich kids on a scholarship and dating Linden Holt, the son of a senator and one of the richest men in the land. When Linden's father, goes to run for president, Ingrid is hired as a campaign assistant for her internship before she graduates school, but the senator is running against a leftist woman who wants flare to be accessible to all and Ingrid has to decide if she wants to stay with Linden and his family to make sure she has enough, or fight for everyone else' flare as well.
This is a very political book, with the main focus being the presidential race, and there are very clear parallels to real life (American) politics. For example, Linden's father proposes a plan called "trickle down flare".
Rep: most major characters are queer, the main character is bi and demiromantic
Beyond the Black Door by A.M. Strickland is next
This is a fantasy in a world where some people can soulwalk. They can enter their own and other people's souls as long as the other person is close enough. Kamai and her mother are both soulwalkers, and her mother is a courtesan and spy who walks through the souls of her clients to find out their secrets. For Kamai to put her abilities to use, becoming a courtesan would be the ideal option since it allows her to easily get close to people, but Kamai is asexual. She has no interest in having sex with people.
Kamai cannot enter her own soul, no one can. Some people believe she doesn't have one, others that it has been hidden away. But no matter whose soul she enters, she sees a black door. Her mother warned her to stay away from that door. But when tragedy strikes, Kamai, desperate, opens the door.
This is a dark fantasy story with some conspiracy, spying and a focus on this world's religion and mythology.
Rep: main character is biromantic asexual, and her being asexual is a big part of the story, some side characters are also queer including asexual
Also by this author: In the Ravenous Dark, which is another dark fantasy I'm about to start reading with a pan mc and poly relationship
Then I have Silver in the Mist by Emily Victoria
This story is set on an island divided into two kingdoms, Aris and Cerena. The continent is in danger from a mist with deadly phantoms within it, and right now the problem is a lot worse in Aris than in Cerena. Only casters can use magic to hold back the mist.
Dev is a spy. Eight years ago, her father died and her mother became very distant as the whisperer, the head spy, of Aris. Now her mother is more of a commander than family and Dev will try anything for her approval.
On her next mission, she's sent to Cerena to go undercover in their court and kidnap Alyse, Cerena's most powerful caster, in the hopes that bringing her to Aris could turn the tides on the mist. But on the way she learns that not everything she thought of Cerena is true and that Alyse might have a better way to stop the mist.
This is a spy story, but also a story of family. Dev has a difficult relationship with her mother, who is very distant, and keeps seeking her approval, but there is development and nuance in their relationship. I also loved the strong bond Dev forms with Alyse.
Rep: it was not explicit in the book, but Dev is asexual and possibly also aromantic. She shows no romantic or sexual interest in anyone, and the author is also ace-aro, so I'm sure she's supposed to be aspec but not sure what. Dev's best friend Lochlan is non binary.
Last up is Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson
Artemisia is a nun training to cleanse the bodies of the deceased so they don't turn into evil spirits and eat people and/or possess people. She was possessed by a spirit as a child and as a result she's very sensitive to spirits.
When the convent is attacked by possessed people, Artemisia saves herself and the other nuns by binding herself to a revenant, the most dangerous type of spirit that was locked up in a saint's relic. The dead are rising, and if only a vespertine, a priestess wielding the power of a revenant can stop it, but all knowledge on how this works is lost to time so Artemisia has no choice but to learn from the revenant itself, someone she can't trust.
This story is dark and has a very gritty medieval feel, and I think while the world is made up it captures medieval europe better than most medieval europe fantasy stories. Artemisia is someone who prefers to be around dead people than living, generally she dislikes people and doesn't care to form close bonds with them. While she isn't explicitly ace/aro in the book, I'd read her as such based on her lack of interest in romantic and/or sexual relationships, and she can also be read as autistic.
Also by this author: sorcery of thorns, which has a bi love interest and asexual major side character
Previously covered books with a-spec characters
Dread Nation duology by Justina Ireland - ace/aro side character who is also a POV character in book 2
Black Wings Beating trilogy by Alex London - one of the two mc's is ace/aro

[Preview]Soulwalker: Benzoin
"The Soulwalker" is a series of space operas, the main character is Bhu'ja, it is a collection of different short stories, there is no reading order, and there is no ending problem, so I can happily stop serializing whenever I want. The sequel of "HUNT: The Final Rest" is one of the short stories, "Benzoin". But the "HUNT" is not in "The Soulwalker".

Transformers Dimension
Since Transformers: Animated would make its appearance in the KNS verse, I would like to point out some things in the story.
Septron is a planet next to Cybertron and Velocitron where ten tribes of Transformers live harmoniously alongside the elements, abundantely robotic planet where nature and machine live harmoniously as equals. When the war happened, sure many of the Septronians joined the factions but there is one group of Septronians who formed a mismatched group led by a mysterious Stygian named Rogue, but for the space humans, Autobots and Decepticons, he was nicknamed The Phantom due to his tribe being associated with the supernatural.
His group compose of Autobots, Neutrals and even Decepticons who chose to become renegades when they see the wrongs of their factions. Because of their members, they were crudely called The Strays.
They were 'exiled' to Earth and for the past fifty years, they've learned everything from the culture and language of the humans. Also, they planned to end the war when the AllSpark finds itself on the planet and that long-lost enemies thought to be dead are felt lurking on Earth.
Anyway, here are the Septronian Tribes:-
Stygians - The Stygians of Styx are a very mysterious tribe that kept themselves secretive in the shadows. Their led by a Shadowlord and worship the Forger (robot god) of Death, Doomscythe alongside their cousin tribe, the Vulpians and the Soulwalkers. Their logo is a sickle forming a question mark.
Kemonoids - Descendants of the fierce Predacona that take the form of animals with some being triple changers. They are led by a Beastlord that was Hellburst and worship the Forger of Animals, Lionheart Lux, alongside the Thunderians and Tepesites. Their logo is a roaring beast head.
Aquarians - An all-female tribe of water dwellers who were nearly wiped out by Transformer Hunters, leaving a few survivors scattered across the tribes, later led by Sealord Razortooth. They worship the Forger of Water, Otohime Lux. Their logo is a shark.
Arborians - A tree-dwelling tribe that dwells in the jungles of Arbora. They are equipped with very long retractable tails and great swiftness of monkeys. They, alongside the elusive Cloakers, worship the Jungle Forger, Tarzan Lux, and are led by a Treelord. Their logo is a tree.
Florians - An all-male tribe of plant-bending bots that live in the swamplands of Arbora and are said to deal in Dark Arcane (black magic in Cybertronian term). They worship the Swamp Forger, Mossblight, and are led by a Swamplord, formerly Quickstrike. Their logo is a leaf.
Scraplanders - Scraplanders are a barbarian tribe, living with the berserkers, the Ravagers and the underground-dwelling Subterrans. They have a post-apocalyptic appearance and lifestyle as well as making anything out of scraps and are led by Scraplord Onehand. They, with the Ravagers and Subterrans, worship the Forger of Deserts, Rampage. Their logo is a cross arms of a wrench and sword.
Septronian Seekers - Living on the floating continent of Stormasphere with the Stormites, what makes them different from Cybertronian Seekers is that they are led by a Skylord and some are said to have acidic venom in their claws, weapons and fangs. They worship the Serpent Forger, Ophiuca Lux, and their logo is a winged snake.
Stormites - Airbending robots who enjoy most of their time flying. Despite their aerial abilities, their alt modes are practically land vehicles or land animals mostly. They worship the Forger of Storms, Typhoonus, and are led by a Stormlord. Their logo is a tornado.
Pyronians - A tribe of very fiery, firebending and fire-powered robots that live on the volcanic land of Pyron. They are led by Flamelord Infernus, worship the Forger of Fire, Agni Lux, and their logo is a fire.
Arcticans - A tribe of snowy white robots with icy powers and immunity to the harsh cold temperatures of Arctica. They, with the therianthropic Robotropes, worship the Wolf Forger, Howlback, and are led by Blizzardlord Blizzardbane. Their logo is a snowflake.
Robotropes - Robots that can turn into werebeasts under a full moon or at will. Their bite, just like the Tepesites, can turn any bot, including an organic being, into a were-bot. They are led by a Werelord and their logo is a howling beast.
Tepesites - Vampiric robots with some of their alt modes being vampire bats and a bite from them can turn any bot, including an organic, into a vamp-bot. They are led by a Bloodlord and their logo is an evil eye.
Thunderians - An electricfying tribe of lightning-powered and lightning-bending bots led by Thunderlord Lightningrod and his mate, Sparkrod. Their logo is a thunderbolt.
Vulpians - Evolved turbofoxes whose alt modes are foxes and like the mythical kitsunes, they have supernatural powers. They are led by Foxlord Tailflame and their logo is a fox.
Subterrans - A tribe of eartbending, underground dwelling robots who enjoy digging their way through the ground the fighting. They are led by Stonelord Blindspot and her mate, Sonicrock. Their logo is a rock.
Ravagers - A tribe of berserkers who are said to wear the armor plates and even organic bones of their enemies as armor, weapons and trophies. They are led by a Desertlord namely called the Ravager King, who wore the skulls of every Transformer Hunters and armor plates of a fleet of Decepticons.
Cloakers - Transformers who can blend into their surroundings and turn invisible like chameleons. They are led by Mirrorlord Discordia and their logo are lights.
Arcanians - Transformers who are experts in casting arcane (Cybertronian term for magic) and are said to have strange anomalies. They are led by Magiclord Mephisto and his mate, Lilith, and their logo is a pentagram.
Soulwalkers - A very elusive tribe of ghostly-looking robots that can teleport in a wink of an eye. It is said that when they sleep, they turn into organic beings based on the planet they are on. It is believed that Soulstone mastered their soulwalking to trick his way into organic civilizations before roboticizing the entire planet into an Energon-mining planet like what he did to the other 80 planets, that are not overrun by zombots (robot zombies). They are led by a Ghostlord and their logo is a spirit.

The undead war
So I'm going to (try) quickly explain the undead war in my suneye au
So the undead war was a war with the Titan trappers. A hooded figure with a eye medallion ,( hint it the person that starts the suneye cuit ) convinced the leader of the Titan trappers at the time to go to war with the boiling isles for more resources and cause they really don't have a concrete form of government at the time. ( Thought they did have knights like Jay and Jacob)
It is called the undead war because thanks to the suneye medallion ( maybe this will be easier if I explain the dam cuit) they got the mends to making soulwalkers. soulWalkers are similar to grimwalkers but ugly ( think of an love child of an abomination and a Frankenstein looking monster) . They similar to grimWalkers cause there both made with bones ( and what ever that lung thing is called) but except being power by a soul gem( I think that what it is called. It the middle thing) there power by actual souls that are connected to the bones. They come in 3 class; humanoid, animal and both. They can be ready big and they bleed black. ( Hunter in this au is a grimWalker but don't have a soul gem and bleeds black). They regenerate when soul is not put to rest. Also if you get stabbed or impaled by one the wound stinks ( almost berning)
To Combat this the there was 3 facons knights , grave guardians, and the healing cop.
The knights were on the front lines Dering the war. They could kill soulwalkers but they couldn't put them to rest like grave guardians can. They also dealt with the trappers.
Grave guardians were in charge of protecting the dead ( hence the name) so they can't make more soulwalkers. They can take down soulwalkers and put them to rest. They were station in local graveyards in the boling isles. They also do regular graveyard duties to. They get a cool tattoo same thing with the healing cop.
The healing cop was incharged of healing the civilians, knights, grave guardians, basically anyone who was injured Dering an attack. They were also fight ene Titan trappers that are aound Dering as attack. So they can text protect civilians(basically the personification of" I'm a doctor but..." Meme)
Your probably wodering what ever lovely wittebane brothers have to do with this.......... Well gust what they were fighting in this war to. Well there son were on the front lines, making a name for them themselves. They were protecting boneborough. ( Thought not willingly)
Philip was part of the grave guardians. He really didn't have a choice, he work at the graveyard before the war. So if he wanted to keep his job he had to become a grave guardian. He had to figure out a whole new glyph combo and chant to just to take down soulwalkers. He also had a sword name blue union ( cause it glow blue) it could tern into a staff at well. He got stabbed by a soulwalker once in the stomach ( the man gotta taste of his own medicine) it left a huge scar.
Caleb was part of the healing cop. He became one completely by attendant. He was getting More carving tools one day, when an attack happen. he can't just not help so he help the injured. ( Sence he used to help Philip when he got injured when he was younger) he also stabbed a trapper in the neck with carving tools. After that he was whisk away by other healing cop and got enlisted. In the end he came home with a tattoo and new job.
----------------
Evelyn: what happened?!!!
Caleb: ( confused) ....I think a got a job unwelling
Evelyn: o well.
--------------------------
Here is a picture of the their uniforms and their units logo. I tryed to draw them shirtless so you can see their tattoos and Philip scar..... It not great but not bad but you know practice makes perfect
Tumblr media
I'll probably add more latter but that it. ( I hate myself sometimes, this was not quick!!!)
