Hi everyone! So a month or so ago I entered this cool mcyt contest, soulmate sweepstakes! It's a cool contest where you have to figure out your government assigned bestie via drawing or writing the same prompt! Honestly real cool and pushed my limits a bit to what I usually make so loving this event so far. Thanks @mcyt-soulmate-sweepstakes for organising this! I can't wait for challenge 2.

MCYTblr's Soulmate Sweepstakes!

Welcome to MCYTblr’s Soulmate Sweepstakes event!! Hosted by @x-ca1iber and @sweetietoppartandthoughts, this event is coming to you live on MCYTblr! 

Have YOU ever wanted to have a government assigned soulmate to create fanworks with? Well, look no further than the Soulsweep event! This is a creation event that pairs artists with writers through three periods, each a different challenge for the soulpairs! Through the creation of fanworks, participants can earn points with their soulmate!

In the apt words of one of the moderators, this event is like "Double Life Artfight"! Intended to be a cooperative experience, the teams of two will earn points through creation during three challenge periods!

During the first challenge — Soul Searching — the pairs do not know their other half! This challenge allows each participant to search for their soulmate through fanwork creation.  

The second challenge, Mindmeld, allows the newly discovered soulmates to strengthen their bond through the tried and true challenge of guessing each other’s prompts! After the first challenge, all pairs will know their other half; now, their job is to try and pick the same secret prompt as the other! (Imagine trying to say the same word as another person on the count of 3!)

For the final challenge, Two to Tango, the perfect pairs will now create one cohesive fanwork by combining words and images. This can be anything from a comic to an illustrated fic—think outside the box!
