for the string idea, the string is ig magical and its js binding them/forever connecting them to their soulmate. this string lengthens and shortens according to their distance from e/o its not js one length(basically its not constricting). they can be continents away from the other or a foot away, point is they’ll always be connected by the string no matter the distance(also the string never breaks) and technically u can always find e/o if u follow the string(unless ofc theyre in a diff country). i js added the fact that only soulmates of the same pair sees theyre own string bc the thought of having so many strings lowkey bothers me LOL. also i looked it up and apparently its an ancient japanese myth that soulmates’ pinkies are bound to the string.

for the timer one, i left smthin out last time and i think thats what made it confusing i finally remembered the word for it is “counter” (this one counts up) so along side the timer/countdown that measures how much longer till u meet that person(ex: 00:10:59[days:hours:mins]) theres a counter on the side that tells u how many times youve already been within a 5 foot radius of eachother. like maybe when u were babies u were put along side the other in the nursery and that counts as 1 or u passed e/o on the street, 2. the point is that these counts make it frustrating bc ur like “wth ive been around them ___ many times i still dk who it is” but the timer doesnt actually go off until you’ve OFFICIALLY met. the timer may come close to 0 but it doesn’t actually notify u until uve actually spoken to eachother. what i mean w “the timer fluctuates” is that maybe for example u pass e/o on the street it comes close to 1 second when ur right next to eachother but it never touches 0 and once u get away from eachother again the time goes back up. until uve exchanged words w/ the other/officially met thats when the timer hits 0 forever and thats when ur body ig gets some feeling like “oh thats my soulmate, the person who just said excuse me” or wtv.

basically coups is an actor who has  Vasovagal Syncop aka fainting ep which is due to his immortality issue that he istn aware in in this lifetime ,,,yet. basically he has 2 soulmates in a way bc they were the first gays in the early centuaries ,,,v v early,,, anywho they got caught and died greuslomly with their undying love continuing,,,and life or the entity gave them imoraltiy and stuff but only coups could remember all their past lives. anywho since he didn't have his memories and the other 2 did it became an oblivian storm in a way. his 2 soulmates didn't remember what he looked like. eventually they meet since there all actors and they hate each other at first (being coups v the other 2) but they end up falling for each other either way and realizing their whole immortality thing in the end which hurted a lot more cos of current different circumstances,,,,anywho they have a price to pay for being imortal so ig one of them always dies or they all die which obvisuouly still hurts cos death yk. so this time coups deolops a tumor a week after finding out everything ( being his whole immortality and soulmates thing ) and has only 2 yrs left to live, so they make the most out of it... anyways his death brought tears and the epolguie is sorta their next life which ends up in the best happily ever after they've been wanting all these lifetimes.

Speaking of ships being curbed, out of all content the only pairings that have shown consistency are jikook and sope. They get a LOT of screentime compared to other pairings. And ik most of these shippers would come after me saying "oh but they also showed this ship a lot this time blah blah" but that's the point right? In every single content, they will make time for a new ship but almost forget about it in the next dvd or bb or wtv. But jikook and sope are always consistent and they always get the most screentime. And it's unfair that people judge the real relationships in BTS based on this, but ig that's exactly what bh wants. Based on content tae is closest to jimin, but I can bet he is closer to joon or hobi irl. But we will never know this because bh has decided to milk the soulmate agenda. It's a little tiring, I really like seeing taejoon and vhope. Same with jk. I want to see his interactions with other members more.

I try to think of other, maybe technical reasons why BH would opt for highlighting certain ships, I guess it's easier for both them and the audience to focus on a few ships and come up with content for them and the fandom also won't be able to keep up with multiple narratives for all the ships and it could get tiring (I assume).
