I went into the Nere fight completely unprepared. I hadn’t realized that if I left the underground or long rested he’d be dead (along with the slaves) so I really really wanted to kill him. It was so hard. I had to have restarted that fight at least 50 times. Thank god I had Wyll, he was extremely useful in blasting people off the bridge.

you get to the afterlife and it turns out that they haven't decided what it is yet. like, it turns out that stuff in the afterlife happens by consensus, and everybody gets added to the committee as they arrive. meanwhile basically all of it runs like a gigantic anarchist house. some sinks have been full of dirty dishes for thousands of years.

Astarion ascending without Tav/Durge’s help

Mechanically impossible to do in the game, but story wise?

All you need is our bad bitch Minthara in your party, and Cazador KOing or killing Tav/Durge in front of Astarion during the fight.

Astarion is already overwhelmed and not thinking clearly in the moment with his beloved standing beside him in support. For his love to be taken down in front of him, at Cazador’s hands no less?? He’d be demanding the ritual be done, desperate for the power to protect himself and his lover from ever feeling such pain again.

So, while Shadowheart is distracted trying to resurrect/revive their fallen leader, the Night Warden Minthara would step up and help Astarion finish the ritual. She already encourages him to “take the power that he’s owed, whatever the cost”, so she’d be down to use the tabpoles to help him. Especially with all the past experience she has using them on others.

So, the ritual is completed and Astarion as he once was is no more.

And for my Tav, Nyx, a tragedy is set into motion.

Nyx would awaken in that dark dungeon to find the love of his life eternally changed into his own personal nightmare.

As someone who escaped the control of a fey court, who’s both seen and suffered the cost of multiple warlock contracts, this new Astarion would send Nyx right over the edge. Astarion’s sudden disregard for those 7,000 souls, his over inflated ego and controlling behavior, it would all be major tiggers for Nyx.

I’d give Nyx 48 hours before straight up murdering A.Astarion in a fit of fey grief/rage, before turning on Minthara to murder her in vengeance. Nyx would be shattered after it all, but he’d still lead on.

In the end I could see him traveling to Avernus with Karlach and Wyll, with the personal goal to find and rescue as many of the rituals sacrificed souls as he could.

And if he by chance ever finds what’s left of Astarions soul? His soulcoin would become another treasured keep sake for Nyx.

i approve durge being Karlach's enabler 👍👍👍

Durge completely enabling her to be destructive and murderous. Thinking it's super hot how she burned a whole house down and sweeped the floor with these demons.

Durge who keeps giving her soulcoins to hear her engine roar.

Durge who lets her use them in bed afterwards, completely take her anger and pent up frustration on them. Who riles Karlach up during combat and purposely puts themselves in dangerous situations just to see Karlach go haywire with rage and rip someone's body apart with her bare hands.

When they learn about their previous history with Gortash, Durge is absolutely delighted as they give Karlach the perfect opportunity for revenge. That coronation will be their wedding ceremony as the guts and blood of all attendance will decorate the halls, Gortash left the sole person unharmed by Durge.

Left for Karlach to obliterate. She's free to inflict her revenge in the most painful way she could ever imagine.

Durge who gets on their knees in front of her, who lets Karlach use their mouth and their body like a toy in front of their ex lover Gortash.

Terms I'm coining about coining.

Soulcoining- based off soulbonds. Soulbonds are a type of headmate were you make a connection to someone from a different universe, usaully a fictional character. Soulcoining is when a soulbond brings a term that exsits in their universe of orgin into this universe. They never coined the term in the original universe but did coin it here.

Kincoining- This is made in a simlar sense. Kincoining is when you coin a term you remember exsiting and/or identified with in a kin past life.

The entire campaign is because the demon fractionalized the warlock’s soul and is trying to do a pump and dump by arranging more and more absurd adventures for the warlock to make his “soulcoin” seem more valuable.
