Killer Sans Headcanon (with a mutual!!)

So. A mutual of me, namely @the-starry-lycan, commented on a post where I headcanoned Killer to be able to do cardistry (look it up it’s so mesmerizing).

@the-starry-lycan commented they thought he’d be able to do metal-forging too. And then our imagination spiraled a bit.

just imagine- what do we actually headcanon the boys hobbies to be? Dust… sulks with the hallucination of Papyrus. Horror cooks, apparently. Killer… I don’t even know, does he travel around the multiverse and flirt?

point is, I think we should start making up weird hobbies for the boys.

SO. let’s start by thinking about Killer doing card tricks and forging weapons.

because it makes sense. Cardistry doesn’t take much space, nor money, nor is it loud. It calms him down, I think, and maybe even the others too so they don’t run wild. Nightmare might be basically a god, but three out-of-their-mind skeletons, one of them canonly at 20 LV… good luck. Cardistry is almost hypnotic in my opinion, so thats why I think it calms them. And killer could take his card deck on a mission and fuck around while they don’t have shit to do-

Metal forging is productive- Nightmare gets the weapons his team needs without much money, and he doesn’t have to visit niche AUs to commission specific blades. He could go to Killer and say ‘I need a blade that can do that, that and that’ and killer goes ‘on it’.

and the others have to join him if they fuck up. Dust managed to fuck up the mission he was sent on? Welp, have fun keeping a fire going for Killer to make a new kind of knife. Horror lost that thing he was supposed to keep safe and secure? Well, Killer needs someone to reposition the anvil? Horror is supposed to be setting up Killers little space.

(and it gives all those ENDLESS ROOMS in nightmares castle a use. That always bugged me in FanFictions- like- WHAT IS IN ALL THOSE ROOMS???? BOOKS? PANCAKES?)

It's honestly surreal for me to see other people's Captain Cortex art and their little interpretations of this obscure Disney theme park character that barely exists. It's especially strange when I see other artwork of him with black hair, brown eyes, an international orange jumpsuit, and (sometimes) a little bit of chub because I made up a good chunk of that.

Some of it is just my interpretation of certain elements, while others are just there to make him more distinct from Buzzy, since I've based my headcanon design mostly on the animatronic (which was just Captain Cortex retrofitted into Buzzy). So the black hair and the body shape is just for the sake of making him look different, while the brown eyes are an interpretation of the animatronic's black eyes.

Certain aspects are more headcanon lore relevant, so I guess it's time to ramble about that. I'll start with his body type. He's just old. That's literally it. I draw him with a bit of a belly partly because he's supposed to be in his late 30s within the events of my headcanon. Same goes for the way I draw his hair. I don't remember posting drawings of him without his hat, but he does have a receding hairline. None of this is meant to be in a "look at this man, he aged, so he looks bad" way. I don't believe in shaming people for that. There is no body shaming allowed in this house.

As for his uniform, I just like to think he wears that because he hates the new Cranium Command uniform (the one Buzzy's wearing). My interpretation is that Colossal Pictures's Cranium Command took place long before the events of the final version, so they had different uniforms back then. I don't have a proper timeline yet, so I can't exactly say when the uniform change happened.

Okay so I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 and this is the second Larian Studios game I've played and there is a trend with the characters I choose as companions/to romance.

I went from the rogue elf in Divinity 2 (I do not remember how to spell her name, sorry) to Astarion (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong), the rogue vampire spawn.

My type is rogues. Thieving little gremlins that I think I can fix.

I may end up with Wyll though. He's so goddamn perfect from the five seconds I've seen of him.

Quick note: my dad and I play together. I would like to make it clear that we both romanced our companions in Divinity 2.
