when word got out that you, the youngest child of the ragnvindr family, planned to move away from the dawn winery and into the city of mondstadt, most people expected diluc to shut that down completely. and yet, he gives it his approval. “it would be good for you to broaden your experiences,” he tells you.

(he doesn’t tell you that every day, it becomes more tempting to throw away his morals and breed his lil sister like how he wants to…!)

so you move out of your home, and into a cute little apartment. you decorate it all pretty, tying ribbons wherever you can and covering your furniture in frills and lace. it’s lotsa fun living by yourself, even if it means you gotta do everything for yourself too… but you’re a big girl, so you can kind of probably maybe handle it!

meanwhile, diluc tells himself that he’ll leave you be… but he can’t help but to watch over you while he’s out doing his darknight hero duties! you don’t even realize how dangerous the world is, just traipsing around as if there aren’t a million people who’d happily try to rob the baby of the ragnvindr clan… it’s your big brother’s job to make sure you’re safe!!

you do eventually meet the darknight hero, and diluc does his very best to treat you like any other citizen, but he can’t be stoic n distant around his little sister :( he was just trying to make you smile by showing you what mondstadt was like from the rooftops, he really didn’t mean to end up on the roof of the kof headquarters with his head buried between your thighs…! it just kinda happened, you know?

at first, the darknight hero says that it’s a one-time thing. diluc isn’t ready to taint his sweet little sister and damn himself… but he comes back the next night, grinding you against his thigh until you cum all over his pants. then he’s telling you that it won’t go any further than him making you feel good - but that doesn’t last long, and he has you on your knees a few nights later with his cock in your mouth. that’s as far as he’ll go, the darknight hero says, before he slips up once more and finds himself fucking your thighs n cumming all over your cute tits.

diluc tells himself that he needs to stop, that it’s sick of him to essentially trick his little sister into sleeping with her big bro.. but then again, it’s okay as long as he doesn’t go any further, right? as long as he doesn’t actually take your virginity, then it’s fine… he can keep on seeing you as the darknight hero, you’ll be safe and happy, and diluc won’t completely lose his mind longing for you.

what are your thoughts on the theory that Aegon killed himself with poison?

100% am a proponent of it and actually have been trying to push the agenda as canon since S1 :ppp bc F&B-canon is obviously that Corlys and Larys poisoned him, there's really no way to spin it as something else in the book HOWEVER the tragedy of all the Targtowers and Aegon's tragedy as the big bro of the family and as Alicent's first and last son is sooooo much more emotional and poetic to me if he decided to commit suicide rather than getting murdered. There is something so beautiful and heartbreaking to me about how all of the Targtowers died alone and separated from each other (this is why them loving each other actually like in the book is so important to me and why Condal making the changes he's made pisses me off beyond belief).

The two youngest brothers die fighting to defend their big brother and the two oldest who are married to each other commit suicide... There is just something so delicious about that like... Aemond seeks to redeem himself by defeating Daemon for his big brother because his actions have caused the chain of events that ended up in Jaehaerys' death and he is overwhelmed by guilt for it, thinking he could set things right by killing the killer, completely unable to face his family anymore, and eventually dies trying, and Daeron carves a path of war and vengeance through the Reach in order to return to King's Landing and save his family, consumed by guilt over not being able to save Maelor, his big brother's baby, who was on his way to him yet he dies in the process, not having reunited with his family in years.... And then you have the two oldest siblings who are married to each other against their will and are the only two people in the world to understand what the other is going through... What ache is, what grief is, what it did to them... They are the only ones to understand the other. Then King's Landing falls and Helaena is all alone in the world, separated from her entire family in a lonely castle. Her sons are dead, her girl is missing, her mother is in the dungeons, her brothers are all gone and she is alone in King's Landing. The pain and the loss and the loneliness is too much to bear, it hurts too much to live, so she decides to kill herself in the end. And then Aegon, who has been alone and separated from the entire world and his entire family on a lonely island for six months returns to King's Landing, to both of his sons slaughtered, his girl faraway, his mother a shadow, his dragon gone, his sister dead, and his brothers dead. They all died for him and the crown their mother put upon his head. He's returned but only to an empty house. He is all alone in King's Landing. He is more ghost than person at this point. The pain and the loss and the loneliness is too much to bear, it hurts too much to live, so he decides to kill himself in the end.

And that is Alicent's tragedy. That's her humbling, her karmic justice, her comeuppance. The two children she forced the crown upon in order to save them from their inevitable fate make the decision to end their lives. She's lost almost everyone by this point already, Gwayne, Otto, Criston, Jaehaerys, Maelor, Helaena, Aemond and Daeron, they are all gone but Aegon, her first baby, remains. Her last hope and her last love. And even that isn't enough because the loss is too great for him to swallow. So in the end, he leaves her too. By choice. That is her punishment.

To me, this is parallels, this is connections, this is themes and tragedy and satisfying character conclusions. THIS IS CINEMA.

it's actually a grumbo au! it's essentially just a slowburn romance between them, with a very meet-cute beginning and some very angsty backstories (particularly mumbo im so sorry mr jumbo my beloved...). i don't want to spoil too much in the first ask about it, but i can definitely talk a bit about the plot and characters in it!! i don't imagine i'll end up writing a series for it like i had originally wanted to, so i'm very happy to talk about mostly anything!!

anyway! the general overview!

the au is set in a touristy coastal town, and it follows grian and mumbo, two busks. grian plays the guitar, and he has been since he was very young - it's his one true passion. he wants nothing more than to turn it into a career, to be able to share his music and inspire other people with his creations, but so far it's... not been working out. he works three jobs, just about making ends meet, and he's just like,, chronically tired. this poor man.

anyway, he busks for fun, just to see the way that people flock to his music, and it's a good way to make some extra cash!

mumbo is essentially his opposite - he busks because he doesn't really know what else to do. he enjoys playing the piano, sure, but he doesn't necessarily have a passion for it in the same way that grian does. he's an engineer, making plenty of money to live comfortably and still have a decent chunk of spare time, so he has a massive range of hobbies. he's not necessarily amazing at any of them, but he's decent and they keep him busy, so he's not about to complain.

he started songwriting a couple of years ago, but he daren't play anyone his music because he doesn't think he could stand their disapproval if they thought it was bad. instead, he tends to play seasonal music when he busks - summery, christmassy, and everything inbetween. he plays what people want to hear, and holds anything different close to his chest.

the pair of them play in a similar part of the town centre, on opposite ends of a broad central plaza, but they haven't ever really spoken. until, of course, they do :) i won't get into their meeting now, simply because this post is already long as hell, but i'm very happy to talk about it in another ask, if you were interested!!

and also, YES TRANSFEM SCAR. SHE'S MY EVERYTHING!! she's grian's best friend, an animator who largely works from her own studio and - whenever she has free time - draws caricatures for tourists next to where ever grian happens to be playing that night! :D
