Today’s my one year blog anniversary and I honestly can’t believe it. I started this blog on a whim after spending the summer stalking tons of whump blogs and finally thinking of a fun name for my own. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and those first few months in my archive are nearly painful to look back on now, but I fell in love with the community.

Seeing the incredible writing around me and watching other blogs pop up and grow was so inspiring, and everyone was just. so kind and considerate towards each other. The whump community is unlike any other internet community I’ve ever seen, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without it at this point.

After a year, I’ve gained just over three hundred followers and I love and appreciate each and every one of you. Having a place to share my writing and art has been so motivating, and I’ve made so many things that I never would have gone through with if not for the support and safe space this community provides. 

And at last, I’ve met some of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing because of this community. I wasn’t going to go and tag them, but I think you guys need to know just how much you’re loved and appreciated, not only for the amazing work you do, but for who you are and how much you mean to me. I won’t go and tag everyone I want to here because that would be an incredibly long list, but:
