I'm actually so mad about the fucking number names the New Republic has given them. And that they all just go by that even casually, not by their names. Instantly it makes you think "FN2187. You're a bar code in the system." It's the thing that defines the First Order, the way they dehumanize people right away, strip them of anything unique.

So to suggest that the New Republic is doing that to people during Operation Flimsiclip? When "I'm FN2187. Only name they ever gave me." "Well I ain't using it" is the thing that so instantly and clearly sets the fascist government apart from the world Leia built and is fighting to protect throughout the ST? So fucking infuriating. What was the point?
