It's been really odd; I looked back and the closest he's mentioned is in the Smoke and Shadow comic, but not by name. I haven't read the new comic but by this point I'm guessing he doesn't show up, and this would have been a great opportunity to show a flashback of him and it's a shame he wasn't utilized. Like he almost literally just exists to be a tragedy for Iroh.

It's a shame he isn't given more details, let alone that we know nothing about his mother (who I assume passed away well before Zuko and Azula were born and had no emotional attachments to her and that's why details on her are nowhere to be found)

hey! this is chance & here’s week 2's prompt. when you write or create an oc, do you like to reference elements from your life? if yes, name a few. if no, why not?

Usually not! I often set out to make ocs that are different from my life. Of course, as I develop them, I do end up noticing some similarities to my own life, but I very much prefer for those to develop organically instead of me setting out to include them. IDK why really? I guess it's just personal preference, but it's something that's always been a thing. I always hated those prompts in school that were like "write a story about something meaningful or impactful from your own life" because they felt so stifling, and I always felt like I never had anything meaningful to share even though looking back I probably did. But it just felt personal I guess? IDK. I always hated those prompts, they felt so boring to me, and I think that sorta carried over into my character building process.

I think my one exception would be Victor from my Ghost/Medium WIP? I intentionally made him as commentary on my own experiences as an undiagnosed neurodivergent high schooler who suffered from gifted kid burnout. But he's still a different entity from me--I went to a regular ass American public school while he goes to fancy magic university in a very different world. Also, I cannot see or talk to ghosts, and he knew (and presented as) he was trans WAAAAAY before I even had an inkling

I think I've written one(1) gen fic, and even then it was kind of ambiguously shippy still.

I love to write about characters who are a bit weird who fall in love with another character who loves them for being them, weirdness included. Lets not examine that too closely though asdfgkl

I often write about one-sided pining that turns into requited love (or it has been all along and they were both too dumb to realise) and do the whole 'oh we've both felt this way about each other this whole time we are so stupid!'

I don't think I really use much similar imagery? or scenes? it's very dependant on the fandom I think

when I read my stories back I really like the character moments. I enjoy writing those character driven sections, and I like to think that I do them well. Deciding to Create a TMSFE# Sequel(?) cast featuring Mirages that come from Second Gen FE13 as well as FE6.

A total of 21 characters, each one associated with a Major Tarot Arcana as this is a Persona crossover. (Protagonist has both Fool and World, hence why it’s 21 and not 22)

I figured you’d be interested in how the Awakening trio end up.

Well, Owain’s a Dark Mage Class Mirage of the Magician Arcana who can use Curse skills.

Severa is a Mercenary Class of the High Priestess Arcana who can use Nuke skills.

And Inigo is a Myrmidon of the Lovers Arcana with Psy skills.

Lemme know if you find this interesting at all, I’d be glad to tell you how the other Awakening kids wound up.

I never played Tokyo Mirage Sessions or the FR crossover series, but I do like Persona! Inigo as the Lovers is very fitting! I also like Severa with Nuke and Owain with curse; those also seem fitting and I feel like they’d brag about it. Good choices for them!
