The only time dogs peeing on themselves has ever bothered me was a standard poodle I used to groom. He was gorgeous, big, white, and his owner kept him in a beautfully maintained full coat. And he consistently peed ALL OVER HIS FRONT LEGS. 🤢

i'm sligthly concerned over a post i saw earlier -- about male dogs peeing on themselves (stomach, front legs). that's like... not something i'd be okay with... is this a problem for your dudes? and is it dumb to worry about it? i guess people live with it somehow right? sorry, this is pretty stupid.

Sorry to say anon but some males can be really sloppy, especially when they’re younger and first learning to ahem...aim properly. In my experience it is something that is grown out of once the dog is mature and can balance correctly to mark, but dogs are not clean creatures by nature and they are going to roll/step/rub against a manner of gross things regardless of their gender such as other dogs/animal’s poop, pee, etc. etc.
