day 2 - If I Should Fall from Grace with God by The Pogues

Before thoughts: I actually know this band! I remember listening to fairytale of new york for hours a couple christmases ago. My mums not a huge fan of them or she was more disappointed i listened to them i dont remember. I'm excited for this one since this is the style of folkpunk i really enjoy.

If I Should Fall from Grace with God: YEA!! is this where that style of singing i hear a lot from like mischief brew/days n daze. or do they just sound like that idk but yea this imo sounds more like beginning folkpunk

Turkish Song of the Damned: the instrumentals are just so good.

Farewell You Streets of Sorrow / Birmingham Six: im eh the beginning sounds like classic rock which is a bit too slow for me. the lyrics and second half are good tho

The Battle March Medley: OH OH they are telling a story with a instrumentals this goes so hard. this is what i meant by every album needs at least one or two instrumentals.

Shanne Bradley: at this point it feels like they have calmed down. its really nice though

Sketches of Spain: this is just casual dance music now lol. i am not complaining.

I forgot to do a ranking of songs so just know my favorites are: Fairytale of New York, The Broad Majestic Shannon, Battle March Medley, and Worms, which i have no idea came from since i seemed kind of random but really catches the attention of the viewer. everyone should listen its like less than a minute

Overall Thoughts: it was good! i can definitely see the effect they had on future folkpunk singers. although i feel like only the first have really fits into folkpunk but thats cause that guy is singing but he disappears the second half. i like to think when they were making the album he passed out after drinking and the band just continued without him

i really enjoyed it since this is the type of music i listen to alot and i would def recommend for anyone who enjoys the more folkier punk
