Pile 1
Hi Pile 1! Okay so this may feel a little shallow but here me out, for you a big point is going to be physical and sexual attraction. Your next relationship is supposed to teach you how to be more in touch with your sexual self, and that's why you need to look for someone who ignites that fire within your core. You should also look for someone who's actually in for the commitment because you may have a habit of going for people who are non committal because you may feel like if you keep it casual you'll seem cool to your partner and they may like you more, no, stop it, look for people who value you the way you value them.
Next, you need to look for someone who has a lot of experience with relationships, not a player per day but just someone who knows what they want and when they want it and operate in that way. Even when people know what they want, they can change partners and don't let that deter you from people with a lot of exes, it doesn't mean that they have commitment issues it just means that they may want different things at different times and may have had the guts to cut it off with people.
Lastly you need to look for someone who's not going to be wishy washy with you and will meet you at the same level of headstrong you are, because your stubbornness may not be cute but when paired with your next partners stubbornness it will end up leading to a perfect balance of two headstrong people who can fight all day but actually come to a conclusion or find a middle ground the both of you respect.
Pile 2
Hi Pile 2! This might sound Counterintuitive but you need to find someone for your next relationship who may feel open enough to disagree with you. You may be used to being around people who often share the same opinion with you, which is good, but someone who challenges your views will make for not only a more fun opponent but also someone whose views you can change or vice versa. I'm also getting that one quality that you should look for is that they share the same love for music or dance as you, basically the same love of the performing arts, this includes theatre/acting as well. I'm getting that your next partner may be someone who's very interested in this, especially into cinema.
They could be a film bro (gender neutral) and may love yapping for hours about their favourite film and the compositions, colours, lighting, music etc used in the film and how those aspects enhance the overall viewing experience of the film, they could be very active on letterbox lol. I'm also getting that one aspect you should look for in your next partner is transparency, it may sound like honesty but it is different because transparency signifies that this person will not only be honest but also take accountability if they ever go wrong somewhere and this level of accountability will build up a stronger bond and start healing the trust issues you may have from your past friendships and your relationships with your parents, because someone close to you will finally not only accept they did something wrong but also apologise and accept that.
Lastly! Look for someone who doesn't put you down, like even subtly. You may have had friends or partners in the past who may have been like "omg fr? that's so weird haha" even as a joke when it comes to your interests, but look for someone who will not put you down regardless of differing interests please I Beg.
Pile 3
Hellooo pile 3! Hyperspecific point from the very start, look for someone who knows the value of spirituality and crystals and stones that you may carry or wear on you at all times. If they even try to question your beliefs about spirituality that is not your next partner trust me. Your next partner is going to be someone who will share your interests and be on the same wavelength as you when it comes to spirituality, tarot and more.
One thing you need to look for in your next partner is that they may have a bit of an isolated or loner vibe, like they may not be big on huge gatherings and could be more introverted, they'll really appreciate their alone time and could be someone who does not divulge in PDA a lot, not only because they're shy but also because they'll believe that your business is just your business (in the rs I mean). Regardless of this they'll be someone who's very focused and goal oriented, your next partner is someone who's ready to sacrifice their comfort in the present to focus on their goals and work towards them relentlessly, they'll also be the kind of people who will let go of any comfort just to make you feel more comfortable, the kind to give you the bed and take the floor instead if there's only one bed and you don't wanna sleep together, very gentle and caring.
They'll just have this aura which screams "I welcome you and I understand" and that is exactly the kind of energy you need in your life right now. Lastly, I heard "duniya dedi" which translates to "gives you the world" so all I have to say is y'all better raise your standards and KEEP THEM RAISED!! YOU DESERVE THE BEST AND THAT'S WHAT YOU'LL GET KISSI <33

Work night - YBG comic
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heyyy hi there, long time no see haha (geez I've been inactive for a long time sorry ;;;;)
Apparently I hadn't adapted very well to tumblr and I left it for a while to do other things, but when I wanted to make this comic I was looking for a good medium to publish it and that the quality wouldn't be affected. It was then that I remembered that I had a Tumblr account and well---- when I logged in I was surprised by the amount of reactions that my first and only publication had. I literally almost fell off my chair haha, I can't believe I had so much support. Seriously thank you so much to the people who liked my art and decided to follow me ;;;;A;;;. Sorry to leave you with a blog full of cobwebs.😔 But well, here I come back to show one of my comics of this beloved golf ball head.💙 I might use this tumblr to upload only comics or something like that, it will depend if people are still looking for more of this interesting character hehe or who knows. Anyway I hope you like it and enjoy the comic ✨

Your coloring style reminds me of tbhk if it was just a warm pallete and I love it
Also you know that your style looks closely to ...hers. BUT ITS LIKE SO MUCH BETTER?? like she did too much but you do just enough. And you're not evil which is so cool awesomeness
You're so cool and swag and the stuff you make is amazing and I get excited everytime I see it
Blows you a kiss/p
Have a good one bye bye!!
HAHA THANK YOU!!!!
I actually have a few volumes of TBHK. the art style is super hella cute, and the colors are so much fun. I'm not shy to admit that i've redrawn quite a few panels or referenced the manga a few times
I like to think I have the more improved version of her style, but recently, I've noticed that I've been getting lazy with some of my art, knocking down the quality that I used to manage in some older pieces, so I'm gonna hopefully work on that. BUT THANK YOU REGARDLESS THAT'S VERY SWEET
anyway, though I've drawn like 50 million sketches for an animatic I started today, I sketched a quick lil swap for you <33

Beautiful, cute, dulzura, A quick question, do you have any advice for drawing? I see your drawings and I just fell in love with them, I just started drawing again but it's difficult...
I don't know, sorry, English is not my first language, using translator jiji 🤎🍁
(note: this post is long, grab a snack lol) ah! no problem, don’t worry about the translator haha (pinterest link - this is my masterboard for human references! I’ll talk about it more below)
I think my best advice for anyone wanting to draw is to break down your piece into shapes! (also, depending on your style, using different line weights)
Tumblr media
from my experience, while looking at the whole reference is good, it’s easier to break down individual parts! while some parts can look complicated, a lot of things can be broken down into triangles, squares, and circles (or half circles)
I focus on character art, so I’ll be speaking about that - but it can applied to scenery and objects too. a lot of characters clothes are broken up into colored articles already - in the top reference, Ghost has a red bandanna on his arm! that bandanna helps break up his arm: the top near his shoulder is triangular, the bandanna itself is overall rectangular, and the bottom of his sleeve is a square
of course, depending on how you’re posing the character it can change the angle of what we’re seeing - there’s also an accommodation that your art probably won’t be a 1-to-1 copy with your reference. Ghost’s right arm (bandanna) has a white rolled up sleeve - while the model’s sleeve is square, I prefer to draw rolled sleeves more triangular
Tumblr media
I think line weight is also important depending on your style! I prefer thicker lines around the entire character, and defining qualities also get thicker lines
I like thinner lines inside the character to help define dimensional shape and form. I use thicker lines on the inside of the body if there’s a shape/area that’s more in the foreground - example: König’s chest and midsection have thick line art to help differentiate from his left arm (behind his body)
Tumblr media
I know a common piece of advice is to use real life references, and I agree… but, I never hear people talk about how to use references in a way that actually helps (“just draw from real life”, or “drawing with a reference is good practice”). I experienced that and wasn’t able to take anything away for years!
within the past year or so I seriously took a look at how using references can help me, so I want to try and talk about that - if I had trouble learning from references I’d wager someone else has
Tumblr media
here’s my best example of using a reference because I actually remembered to! I labeled the figure to make it a little easier to follow
(1) my first tip is using a reference to figure out how the body ‘flows’. the human body has a lot of soft, rounded lines when you look at a picture - very few things are legitimately straight and sharp. I used the reference specifically to figure out how men’s pecs are shaped (of course, this is just one reference… because this is my headcanon for König’s body type haha)
Tumblr media
(1) looking at references can help you understand how muscles move. in the reference with the woman, you notice how her right arm (down) muscles are layered - the shape portrayed by the reference lets you see how an arm’s muscles might be laid out in that position
(2) my second tip from the König reference is to look at negative space! the highlighted red portion between the arm and midsection is roughly the same negative space as the reference. if you’re using a reference and something feels off with the placement of what you’ve drawn I’d recommend looking at the space your reference takes up
Tumblr media
(2) the negative space trick helps me line up where proportions should meet up - the distance between her arms lets me gauge how the rest of her body should be proportioned
Tumblr media
(2) while it doesn’t match up 1-to-1 with the reference when layered overtop, it doesn’t have to! the negative space between the arms was enough for the sketch to mimic what the reference looks like. art doesn’t have to be a 1-to-1, but negative space can help you figure out ‘why does that arm look funny?’, “that arm looks funny because, compared to the negative space of your reference, it’s too (far away/close) to the body.”
(3) my last tip is the simplest, so I’ll just be referring to the König figure! when using references I look to gauge the distance between different body parts - it helps me get more realistic proportions. the bit I specifically compared to was the man’s stomach placement compared to his waist. I didn’t copy it 1-to-1 because I like the idea König has more of a tummy, but the reference allowed me to figure out an anatomical placement for where König’s stomach would be compared to his waist
Tumblr media
I hope my advice wasn’t terrible haha everyone’s art journey is different, but these are tips I would have liked to know a few years ago (specifically the reference material ones lol). I wanted to focus more on the reference material because when people say ‘just use a reference, it’ll help’ it didn’t do it for me
I personally needed a more in depth explanation on why I would use a reference, what should I be looking at - because just drawing a person doesn’t necessarily help, and how should I be learning from it - I accidentally taught myself negative space before I knew what it was
but uhm… yeah, I hope this wasn’t awful! good luck on everyone’s art journeys, just remember that you’re allowed to take your time and try different things
if you guys have any other questions about my art feel free to jump into my inbox; process wise, inspiration, etc - I’ll answer anything I can<3

Do you have any other dynamics between the voices that you like, besides Cold and Contrarian?
Love your art,by the way, especially Contrarian!I love how soft and puffy he looks!
Ohhh, thanks for the question! And thanks for the kind words!! Have another Contrarian – he is pretty sure his friendship with anyone would be good!
it also would consist of bullying half the time but if everyone is content that it can lead to some of the best friendships out there!
Tumblr media
And now… IT’S RUMBLING TIME!!
tldr: I am semi-interested in most dynamics, but am currently obsessed with just one. Crossovers and AUs make dynamics more fun for me to think about because of backgrounds.
So! Voices, huh? What a wild bunch.
I love those little guys. I love that mostly here at the stp fandom we are just interpreting them through our own lenses of understanding – through our own perspectives. It is very fitting, and it allows all of us to view these dynamics in many, many different situations.
Honestly, my brain is a mess. It is a giant cauldron, where everything at once is boiling and twisting and turning. That’s why everything is mixing up into lots of crossovers and weird ideas.
Can I say that I like voices dynamics in canon? Sure! I like that one Adv-Fury route with Stubborn and Contrarian having the “I may not have a brain, gentlemen, but I have an idea” moment. I like that Hero tried to stand up for us in Cage and Paranoid helped Skeptic to insist on his solution by “physically” restraining him?? What a power move. Pretty much every interaction between voices is something interesting to think about, honestly.
But, uhh…
My brain just chose two random clowns and said “Them. I wanna rotate them.”
Honestly I don’t even know why he (my brain) did it. Maybe he just projected my favourite dynamic (clown and clown enabler). But I like other dynamics too??? Why not them???
Genuinely don’t know.
BUT!
Remember I talked about AUs, crossovers and stuff? Those are bigger dollhouses for my brain. There he can assign some dynamics to characters and watch them unfold.
Examples? Sure!
Skeptic being “the mom friend”. Originally it went from the need to have anyone that could control ContraColdChaos. But when I thought about putting voices in my old Steven Universe AU (I will talk about it here I swear it is just too much to unpack….), it all just made so much more sense. Because there Skeptic was the one responsible for revolution and leaving their home world, ended up on an unknown planet with some very troubled teammates (traumatised disabled leader, “I-died-so-many-times-I-can’t-be-stable” general, repeated killer of said general, army refugee and a high-quality spy) and he HAD to take responsibility and make sure nobody dies. Also that created a very interesting dynamic with Hero, because Hero is basically a young abused ruler who doesn’t believe he has any autonomy… and here Skeptic is, his subordinate, who literally is making all the decisions. Like, it’s clear that Skeptic cares and wants the best for Hero… but he is pretty much adding to a family emotional neglect.
And there’s more. Opportunist feeling like he owes Smitten for saving his life. Cold and Skeptic trying to process that they’ve killed and revived the very same person. Smitten being this person and trying to live a normal life with his murderer and resurrector in the same home.
I guess I just… Can’t operate inside of the canon universe with the little outside influence there is?
Maybe in my head-universe, when TLQ left, he left the voices a big fun playground, where they can put various masks and play many, many different stories. They need something to occupy their “forever” too, after all.
Anyway thanks if you’ve read this far!! I appreciate it, really. Sorry if it’s not uhh… organized? Like I said, my mind really is a mess, haha.
Have a nice day everyday!~

Do you have any advice for people who might want to get into making comics like yours? I'm always pleasantly surprised by how fast you pump them out and even have other little projects/doodles on the side. How do you keep the quality consistent?
(sorry if this sounds a lil cold (?) i rlly love your peppercakes they r so skrunkly)
First off - Thank you !! I'm honored you like my lil guys and comics hehe! (and no worries on the tone !! I didn't think it sounded cold at all!)
Alright secondly lets see...
Short answer: You really just gotta start and keep going!! Once you start you get the momentum and it gets much easier (like riding a bike, which people like to use as comparison often).
Long answer:
Alright I thought about how to answer for this for a bit and I think I'll break it down to the main aspects.
So timing ! Basically I'm drawing 24/7 (and I'm currently not working as it's an off time for me, but I shall in a week and you will see that my posting frequency will decrease substantially). Ok maybe not 24/7 but I essentially am drawing from the moment I wake up to when I sleep (minus eating, restroom, working out, some errands) and while I do not say this is the key to being better, I'm just realistically displaying how much time I'm spending on drawing. (... one of my new years resolution is to not in fact do that and go out more because I feel like I'm being cooped up in my room a lot haha). But minus the amount of time I spend itself a lot of it has to do with the importance I take in speed drawing. And when I say that I mean quite literally how fast I can draw. AND I think a large part of where that speed comes from is how I like to generalize designs and just my overall process of drawing. (Which, I will not go over now but if you'd like I could make a separate post on how I go about doing my usual sketch, lines, colors, etc) Like, I love ff and all of it's crazy designs but it's so complicated I simplify everything till it's juussstt recognizable, and that's something I feel like really adds to the speed of things.
Also that's sweet of you to say for the quality haha (I always am thinking stuff like ah man this aint it... not my finest work, and then just post anyways cuz who cares I already made it heh)! That being said my quality wasn't alwaysss consistent! Here's an example of my very first "comic" I made for my characters:
Tumblr media
And here's the same 4 panels I redrew just about 2 years later:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So I've been basically drawing comics for this for just about 2 years now (will be 2 years officially in a few months) and I most certainly did not get here in one night. I think, as I've mentioned, it's really important to keep up with the comic making (or drawing in general) so that, yes, you can get better, but the way you get better is that it becomes familiar to you. So you can approach concepts and ideas with a more experience. And I think a large part of what holds alot of people back is the idea that "ah I can't do this idea I'm not good enough." So what !! Still do it, I most certainly did it a couple years ago when I barely scribbled my ideas. And then you can totally go back and redraw it ! no "Rule" saying you can't go back and revisit your ideas, like hell even professional artists go back and republish their works with their improved art styles ! (ex. Tokyo Ghoul... even though I don't care for the story, it's still pretty cool! I think he even added more scenes? Anyways..). I think there was that one post going around where it was something like do it scared and that's really REALLY what you gotta do.
And that leads to my final point. You gotta love doing it. I like to make comics because I LOVE my characters, their story, and actually the act of putting it all together into a story, drawn comic, visuals, etc. And, I found my method of loving them. For me, what held me back was the "structure" of comics. I mean you can p much see that the way I like to do things is def not the "traditional" manga/western comic book style right? I won't go as far to say that I "made up this way" of comic making where it's one panel at a time but it certainly worked for me. (I have no idea how many comic wips I have collecting dust in my folders from my earilier days of making this comic where I just gave up 20% of the way in because I really could not vibe with the formatting, but then I figured out I really like to "thumbnail" comics (a result of when I was studying storyboards alot imo) and I went on from there).
This is where I feel like alot of people get stuck too. Where they really do like their ideas, their character, their stories and such, but as soon as they try and go through the process of creating in a certain way... the wind is just instantly taken out of their sails. And while I do believe sometimes you just gotta push through and do it anyways, sometimes that's not the right method to go about it. So instead of brute forcing a method of creation and eventually forming a bad relationship with the process, find a method that works for you. And maybe it doesn't look all that great or good compared to others, but that comes in time and as long as you like doing it, that's what really matters at the end of the day.
Tl;dr: be a lil freak, and lil weird about what you do (this applies to everything, not only art :3)
Alright so I think that's all the points? idk if you still want to ask me stuff, feel free to anytime :) Always happy to share my thoughts!

Okay hello hi hello,
First off you're amazing and a gift to the world, I wish I had even half your talent. Your last piece blew my mind and I just HAD to ask,
How long have you been drawing/painting for? I imagine forever but I'm always curious how long it takes before artists reach these sorts of levels where it evolves into full-scale projects as opposed to smaller hobbyist crafts. There are so many beautiful art pieces on this platform as a whole and I'm constantly baffled by it all
Sorry if my excitement is off-putting that piece is heavenly and my mind is blown. Hope you're doing well!
Hi and thank you! That's a good question
So I've been drawing since I was born, but I've been drawing digitally for 8 years. I think in the very beginning most artists should just focus on having fun, you'll basically improve by default
after a while you will want to improve. It will be slow, but this is the stage where you'll recognize what you need work on
I'd say the turning point is when you've finally gotten far enough into your art journey without any sort of formal training (ie, a lot of artists dont learn the basics/fundamentals first, which is fine since most of us start as hobbyists) But I think learning them really did help me a lot. You start to think more about how light and shadow lays, depth, 3D objects, and more.
I highly recommend watching this video about levels of art, it's been really helpful and motivating to me throughout the years
This part is going to be long so you don't have to read it but I just wanna give my personal journey and how I got to now if anyone thinks it'll be helpful:
(2017) With digital art, I started off on ms paint and occasionally ibis paint x. Mostly using anime deviantart bases (EMBARRASSING), but after a while I developed my own style based on the people I was inspired by at the time, I was just happy to draw and didn't care much about improving at this time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(2019) The people you look up to artistically will naturally change over time (and thats okay), after a while I decided to switch to firealpaca, where I guess I got more invested on how light and shadows work, as well as making my characters look a bit more natural and develop my own style, your preference in aesthetic may also change over time which is noticeable here
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(2021) Eventually, I began to lean more into semirealism (which isn't everyones preference and thats okay! realism shouldn't be the ultimate end goal of art) but I really enjoyed making stylized characters look 3D and in natural looking environments, since I felt it spoke to my own experiences, a lot of artists draw from real life experiences. I focused more on anatomy at this time as well as textures and environments, composition also became a big deal for me at this time, as well as wanting to use different colors
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(2024) The change from LINEART to DIGITAL PAINTING in 2022 was the hardest for me once I switched to clip studio paint, it was basically like starting all over and I was so lost. I had a lot to figure out on my own but I knew it was a transition I had to make to draw the kind of art I wanted. But I began to study and take more things into consideration, I didn't like my art so I simply kept going "I can do better", learning from my previous mistakes and slowly making something I would be more satisfied with. At this point art felt more like "projects" then anything, because I wanted to make pieces that were of quality and had time and care put into each of them, sure it meant there was no longer much quantity. but hey that's what my smaller Cult of the Lamb lineart drawings are for!! 💙
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm still growing and I definitely have a long way to go, but I am very proud of my progress this year, and I'll continue to grow until I'm satisfied (haha im stubborn) I also want to develop my secondary lineart style that I do when I'm not painting, since I feel that is important too
in short; time, practice, dedication, and passion are the most important, draw what you love above all else because it will be your drive to keep going, staying motivated was the most important for me
Tumblr media
Sorry for the long post 😭

God I wish we could normalize telling people their stuff sucks balls again. Yes. Yes there is a place and time to lie to people and encourage them to pursue a craft/art/hobby/whatever so they don't lose motivation and improve on their own accord.
However.
There are also times and places where I think anyone can very much profit from being lovingly told that what they just produced looks like absolute bullshit liable to give people eye cancer, and that there is no way in hell they are making a career out of it. This applies mostly for people who are offering art commissions when they very clearly don't even grasp the basics of what they're trying to sell, but can also be the case for hobbyists who DO produce dogshit stuff, but post it online with a self deprecating caption like "haha I know it's bad sorry", clearly as a tactic to fish for compliments.
Yes! It does suck! Good on you for recognising that! Now go and learn how to do it better instead of groveling on social media so the "don't criticise anyone ever" crowd gives you a participation medal.
I have seen people offering sewing commissions that made me want to pluck me eyes out. And I probably would have been one of them if I hadn't spent the three years after my fashion design major by pursuing an actual apprenticeship as a dressmaker (women's tailor) with a teacher who was very kind, but also very honest!
She'd show you mistakes in a way that told you she had absolute total confidence in you to be able to do it better. Whenever you'd say "oh I can't do it better" she'd go "well maybe not now but with some more practice and help, you absolutely can! Don't underestimate yourself. You can't give this to a paying client, but you'll be at a point where you can soon". When she complimented something, you'd know you really did well and felt actually accomplished instead of patted on the head like a child with a crayon drawing.
You need people to point out your mistakes, and sometimes you need the cold hard reality check of "if you want to do this as a paid full-time job, you have to improve your quality". Otherwise you're doomed to an eternal cycle of failure because your friend circle are yes men who are more scared of hurting your feelings than they are to see you fail in life.

I'm curious about the cast. Can you tell us more about them?
I’m so sorry this answer comes so late. One of the reasons for that is that, while I’ve had a good idea of the main cast and their personalities etc. from the get-go, things do change and shape as I write and I didn’t want to give out a bunch of information that I’d later change haha.
But at this point I feel like I’ve done enough work on them individually to be able to give a proper answer!
I’ll be including the characters that are set as “main cast” in the intro post (Cirern, Muir, Wren, Astra, Azora and Kirin) plus 3 additional characters that might end up being part of the main cast. Or not, I’m not sure yet. All I know is that they will appear, be important to some part of the story and that at least one of them will have a romance route option.
I’ll also include which characters are romanceable 😊
Cirern
Cirern might seem distant, coming and going on his own terms and keeping his interactions with the MC as short as he can. But like anyone, he has certain fondness for things and might end up saying more than he planned to when faced with particular questions or observations.
During his years at court, Cirern was known for being brilliant and polite, with an arrogance that would shine through only among his closest. He was seen either as a leader nor a follower, and luckily lacked the ambition that might otherwise make him an open enemy to Aíos’ crown. But little did those people know that his ambition was merely well hidden.
Those who knew him would describe him as lively with sudden bouts of melancholy, of thriving among people until he’d wordlessly withdraw without explanation. When the MC meets him, little seems to remain of the man he once was described as. But spending 19 years in someone’s presence is bound to draw out sides you might not expect to ever see.
Muir (RO)
When the MC first meets Muir, he is a dreamy child with curious eyes that seem to hold the universe itself. But as Muir settles into his skin those qualities begin to dim, and his strange sense of wonder turns into awkwardness and uncertainty, and eventually hardens him into a stoic and quiet adult.
Muir is simultaneously hardened to the outside world and very new to it. He doesn’t relish the prospect of talking to strangers or getting involved in business that doesn’t have to do with his and the MC’s goal. Your relationship with him is shaped and explored in chapter 1 and continues from chapter 2; it can be close or distant, but there is something inherent in his existence that ties him to you regardless of how either of you view each other.
Wren (RO)
Wren is a student at the Institute of Arcane Arts and is recognized by many of its teachers as one of its most promising minds. They come from a line of respected spellweavers who have become one of the most reputable houses in Aíos even with their shrouded and mysterious history.
Wren themself, while armed with a sharp mind that’s been honed by years of diligent study, lacks the experience of life outside of high, safe walls – both the walls of their family home and those belonging to the Institute. They would rather spend more time thinking than doing and is not always tolerant of people who can’t see things from their point of view. Sometimes they try to be suave but immediately end up cringing at their own comments.
Azora (RO)
A young woman with a fascination for the arcane – moreso because of what it could do for her and her cause than any interest in the arcane itself.
Azora embodies many traits that humans are looked down on for by the elves – impatience and impulsivity, for one. But she is likewise willing to learn and holds strong beliefs that fuel her decisions. Most would call her charming albeit stubborn with a self-sacrificial streak when it comes to the things she believes in (for better or for worse).
She struggles with reconciling what she has been taught with what she comes to learn, what that means for her perceived purpose. Her own mind has made her its enemy, and she often relies on others to a potentially harmful extent when doubt creeps in.
Kirin (RO)
Kirin is quiet as a shadow and moves much like one, too, walking in and out of your life as he pleases. He is devoted to his beliefs and for all intents and purposes, he seems devoted to serve you, as well.
He is practical but also idealistic when it comes to his faith and what he does for that faith. But the nature of his order is vague and difficult to grasp for someone not directly linked to them.
Kirin’s personality is hard to pin down since he seems to hide much of it beneath his purpose, just like how he hides his face behind his mask. He is calm, though; sometimes eerily so, and often finds amusement in situations where people might find such amusement distasteful. (Although there’s much more I could share, I can’t do it without spoilers, sorry!)
Astra (RO)
As a vampire, Astra can be described as having little regard for mortal lives, and it’s not beyond her to manipulate and scheme to nudge things in the direction she wants them to go. Sometimes that means feasting on the blood of the unsuspecting, and sometimes that is extended to a grander vision and goal.
Although she can be cruel, she is also fiercely loyal to those she’s close with and trusts. Beneath her exterior, something darker and more unpredictable simmers, though she rarely allows that side of her to show.
Rhalyf (RO)
Rhalyf is an Ekkeran hunter from the far north. His job is to track down unsanctioned spellweavers and to protect people from forces of magic that would do them harm.
Most view ekkerans as a bitter, cold people, but Rhalyf is quite the opposite. The hardship he has endured has only strengthened his belief in trying to create a kinder world. And to him, that means exterminating cursed magic, including yours.
Eéithn
Pixies like Eéithn is a rare sight in Aíos’ so called civilized parts. A person who encounters a pixie might count themselves lucky to experience something most could only imagine, but such triumph would be short-lived if they’re not careful when dealing with pixies and their love for trickery.
Whether Eéithn is different from his/her/their fellow pixies or embodies all the same qualities that the stories warn about is something the MC will have to determine for themselves. He/she/they can seem as sweet as he/she/they can seem cruel and might cooperate one moment only to switch allegiances the next.
One thing is for certain, though; like most living creatures, he/she/they is desperate to survive.
??? (RO?)
A cryn woman with bright eyes that don't seem quite right. (I really can't say more about her right now.)
Thank you so much for the ask!

inspired by your desert fury gif set tags, do you have any other movies on archive.org you'd suggest?
haha a LOT. Genuinely surprises me how many presumably-in-copyright films are just .. there.... although they do in fact get taken down when/if the rights holders notice. If it's an older US-American film, or a classic non-english-language film, the chances of finding it are pretty good.
here's a few to check out that are notable in some way. Can't vouch for subtitles on everything sorry.
absolutely crazy selection of film noir here - click through to 'show all' and there's probably hundreds to browse through (not all in the best quality ... and with rather a loose definition of noir that encompasses some sports dramas and 1930s gangster films) including some of the great classics - The Lost Weekend, Sunset Boulevard, Sweet Smell of Success, The Maltese Falcon, The Night of the Hunter (choose the second one on the list for better quality), Night and the City, Gilda, Key Largo, Leave Her To Heaven, Mildred Pierce, Kid Galahad, Angels with Dirty Faces, etc. etc alongside lesser-known films like Desert Fury. If you are looking for some ~subtext then Sweet Smell of Success, Gilda, The Maltese Falcon and Desert Fury are a good place to start.
Agnes Varda's documentary Les glaneurs et la glaneuse / The Gleaners & I and her follow-up two years later, following different types of 'gleaners' who gather things for different reasons, whether artistic or by necessity
Agnes Varda's Cleo from 5 to 7 (1962), considered one of the greatest films ever made (number 14 on the 2022 sight & sound critics' poll)
Agnes Varda's Jane B par Agnes V (1988) (are you noticing a theme. i love agnes varda) - a wacky collaborative essay/portrait - Jane Birkin, ambivalent about turning 40, plays different characters in vignettes that Agnes Varda wants to see her play, interspersed with interviews about her life
Ousmane Sembene's La noire de.... / Black Girl (1966) following a Senegalese girl who travels to France to work, one of the great classics of world cinema
Gillo Pontecorvo's The Battle of Algiers (1966) - hugely influential extraordinary film... everyone imitated this. Documentary-style account of the Algerian war for independence.
Gillo Pontecorvo's Burn! aka Queimada (1969) - not the best quality but i wanted to include it bc I saw it recently (currently on amazon prime in the UK) and it made me Crazzzyyyy. Marlon Brando plays an English agent provocateur sent to provoke a revolt in a Caribbean sugar colony in the mid 19th century. Ohhh it;'s good stuff.
Louis Malle's Zazie dans le Metro (1960) - precocious child visits her drag queen uncle in Paris, only wants to ride the Metro. Thwarted by a strike they go on a wild journey through the city.
Robert Bresson is another of my favourite filmmakers, a very still, austere, minimal style, mostly using non-professional actors - on archive.org you can find Le Diable Probablement/ The Devil Probably (1977), Un Condamné À Mort S'est Échappé / A Man Escaped (1956), Au Hasard Balthazar (1966)
I've never seen it but Kurosawa's Seven Samurai one of the best known films of all time is up there like. is anyone paying attention to this webbed site...
Jacques Tati's Jour de Fete and Mon Oncle, classic comedy in a silent film-ish, Buster Keaton-ish style
Jacques Demy's Les Demoiselles de Rochfort/ The Young Girls of Rochfort
Thom Anderson's classic Los Angeles Plays Itself (2003), documentary / essay film on how the city has been portrayed in film
Werner Herzog's documentaries seem often available - eg Little Dieter Needs To Fly, Lessons of Darkness. (On youtube you can also find Encounters at the End of the world, Wings of Hope, Bells from the Deep, and Fata Morgana.)
John Berger's Ways of Seeing - better quality on youtube rather than archive.org though, iconic & influential art documentary
Jason and the Argonauts (1963) dir. Don Chaffey but really Thee Ray Harryhausen film of all Ray Harryhausen films. legendary stop motion creatures! the og skeleton war!
Hud (1963) dir. Martin Ritt, kind of a revisionist western with Paul Newman and Patricia Neal. super famous film!
Hard Times (1975) dir. Walter Hill - just ur classic great depression illegal bare-knuckle boxing movie with Charles Bronson & James Coburn!
haven't watched them but the classic Toho Godzilla movies are there!
there are several Letterboxd lists that list films available on the Internet Archive however ... since these lists are very long and may not be up to date I find them hard to use and not very useful.

As a fellow writer I'm SO envious of how quick you seem to post stuff? Like there's so much content on your blog and it's all great quality. You inspire and motivate me to be the same way 💙
hii angel, thank you sm for this message🤍 im very honoured to hear my posts inspire you! but i promise i’m not that fast, it’s just a lil illusion haha ^^ i actually have a problem: i have very much ideas, so i start fics, but im having trouble finishing, so my drafts are just chaos and a literal mess and sometimes i don’t even understand what i even wrote here like, what does that sentence even MEAN?
sorry for rambling and for the wall of text, i don’t even know why I wrote all this, but honestly, i just felt like talking. i love chatting with you guys sm, so thank you for giving me the excuse to overshare 😭
sooo for example, that Stan smut (praise that old man girl) was sitting in my drafts for what feels like forever, i just finally cleaned it up :) the Ford x reader x Bill latest smut came to life because of this charity stream Alex did, which got me so inspired
headcanons, though those are usually easier for me, because they’re basically my personal takes on how i think a character would act in certain situations, i just let myself have fun with it
i think the most important thing is finding what works for you. i spend half my day with my fav songs playing on loop and it helps me visualize scenes (im delusional) and create these fake cringe little scenarios in my head that i have to write down in my notes before i forget (learnt the hard way after i lost a really good fic idea once). also pinterest is my secret weapon, seeing all the gorgeous gravity falls art there (on tumblr too) or scrolling through my fav aesthetics (coquette, old money, vintage americana, dreamcore, etc) just does something to my brain… sometimes even a random aesthetic edit on tiktok (can be not fandom related) will make me feel like i need to write a whole story around it lmao
oh and movies/shows!! i watch so many and there’s always some dialogue or line that sticks with me and sparks something
but honestly, i think the biggest thing is just feeling connected to the fandom and characters. if i don’t care about them, it feels impossible, but when i do it just flows no matter how silly or small the idea seems at first
so yeah, don’t stress about speed or anything! just do what makes you happy and lets you feel that spark and the rest will come naturally i promise ! <3

what would happen if freaky phillip succeeded in rizzing the ginger. what would happen then.
Tumblr media
freaky phillip rizzes up gingy au??
phillary real (not real not real please don't start shipping this)
phil: do you have a map? i just got lost in your eyes, and I can’t find my way out... heh...
mary: haha ok that's actually kind of funny. would thou like to go out
phil:
Tumblr media
i lowkey can't tell if this is deadass or /j (cue me scratching my head and looking at the ask inquisitively) so i just wrote some random things
also i am so so so sososososososososo sorry about the art asks taking so long. drawing is kinda being my opp right now but I swear on my left tit you'll get ur yaoi at some point 💯💯
first week of the relationship he's genuinely convinced she's pranking him. he's actually lowkey a little scared of her and something thinks "what if this is all a ruse so she can axe murder me 😬😬😣😣🇬🇧" but he chills out after the first few days when she doesn't take the multiple opportunities to murder him in cold blood and easily get away with it.
in all honesty, he would have no idea what to do since the creature never actually succeeds in bagging the huzz. very trial and error type of relationship, but he'd eventually learn what's right and what's wrong
theoretical gingy would have to be pretty patient with him (be nice to my son you little cunt🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️)
despite how 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 he claims to be, he's actually like... really hesitant to do anything. never ever ever initiates anything.
he likes quality time so like just being in the same room as her for a little bit (doing separate things or hanging out together) would be sufficient for his daily affection needs. but if he has a bad day like... he'll ask for a hug. not a super cuddly person but would be chill with it
he'd actually spend a lot of time trying to gently encourage his gf(🤢🤢) and his brother to be friends because he knows what she thinks of freaky lewis and he literally cannot compute how someone couldn't like his wee lil bro
phil: please mary i swear he's great when you get to know him
mary: no
phil: :) [thats him screaming with his mouth closed]
but in the end this could never happen because the stupid ginger isn't good enough for my son 🙂‍↔️

Hey I saw you added resident evil!! Out of curiosity I wanted to know how you feel about ships? Specifically:
-aeon
-cleon
-leshley
-serennedy
Sorry if this is weird but seeing that the fandom is kind of... hostile at times I just want to know what you're comfortable with and where you stand before I ask anything!
Hi hi!! No worries I understand haha. I've technically been a part of resident evil for a minute ( I mean I do like creepypasta and at the time internet horror crossed over into horror in general much more frequently so thats how I got exposed lmao) I just never felt the urge to add it or write for it till recently. Also just a heads up I don't do character x character regardless if I like the ship or not ✨ this is strictly x Dom reader
Also hi this is my first real post in almost two years how's it going guys lmao.
-aeon: not a fan. Originally I was open minded but the fans of this ship have been disgusting. In general and in my personal interactions so it killed the ship for me. See the appeal of the tragic one day love at times but one time situationship is not my thing. It's overrated and kind of icky in a different manner to so I rate it 20/100
-cleon also not really my thing. Once again I see the appeal just not into it myself. Fans were more welcoming though so I can enjoy it better. (Still some instigators but not nearly as many). Ultimately I'm indifferent and just like the community lmao. 60/100
-i decided to throw chreon into the mix just cause I know that one exists. Not a whole lot of interaction between the two for me to form an opinion but I can see how it came about. There is an old man yaoi quality to it that is like fine wine. An acquired taste but pretty good. Has a certain level of bitterness that tops it off. 65-70/100
-leshley. My favorite ship so far regarding Leon. Very cute. Very wholesome. Can dip into angst or problematic and what's a ship without controversy. The shippers are sweethearts for the most part. Don't see a lot of them actually but I do know the general view of leshley is not positive for stupid reasons. Love my two pookies 98/100
-serennedy. I see the appeal. Very funny dynamic and a lot of angst. Kind of generic and predictable ngl so not super intrigued by it. Plenty of good artists though and once again the fans are pretty sweet. A little much at times and a few pushy peeps but not too bad. Personally I like ada and Luis more but honestly both good. 75/100
you didn't mention this one but I'd also like to say I love metaltango. It's just a tad above leshley cause who doesn't like enemies to enemies. Plus the artists always cook with something holy and profoundly poetic in ship art. Even the name metaltango solos sorry 100/100
Also for ships I'm not sure exist with Leon I'm putting them down here. I have yet to see a maria x Leon fanbase begin after death Island with her basically sitting on his face, but I rate maria x Leon 100/100 as well. I'd love to see someone create food for it since there was some tension in that fight.
is hunnigan and Leon a ship?? I haven't seen content for that but I assume there's a few fics on ao3. Im personally not a fan of the concept but ultimately I don't have anything bad to say either so 27/100. Need to know more and interact a bit more to give an accurate rating

I’m still stuck on your idea that John Dory is like influential enough to the pop genre of music composition and song writing that his work is analyzed in college level music composition and music theory classes. Cause it’s like one thing if every song he ever wrote is in the top of the charts but it’s another thing to get featured as a person of interest in a music composition class and it feeds so well into my theory that JD spent the 20 years he was traveling on Rhonda and not really working living off of royalties cause he could have been writing textbooks on song writing and shit. He could have been like contacted by colleges and asked to give Ted talks and guest lectures on how to blend multiple voices into a near perfect harmony.
John Dory is like the Lady Gaga of the troll world not in the sense like their music is remotely similar but because they both view music as art and are perfectionists with it. Because they hold their work to the highest standard and make sure it’s the highest possible quality. Which I think is like partially the root behind why JD went so perfectionist with the band in particular. Regardless of why it started and why it ended JD cared deeply that every aspect of their performances were revolutionary, were perfect. People compare jds perfectionism and demands of his brothers to velvets demands of vener and desire for fame. But they really could not be more different in reality because as their songs reveal JD cares about perfection he will not cut corners with his work with his performances. He wants his art to be 100% flawless and be a revolutionary work of art because he is an Artist and performance is his canvas. I don’t think that JD cares about being famous or making money beyond enough to support his family and invest in his art. Velvet is fundamentally different. She doesn’t care about the quality of her and veneirs work, doing any of it herself or her fans at all she just wants to be rich and famous.
Kinda getting off topic here but anyway I think JD would be delighted that people are analyzing his art and being inspired by it because he put hella work into it. Brozone was his passion project that combined his two favorite things his family and his art and he definitely loves his family more than his art and he doesn’t really care too much about hitting the perfect family harmony anymore beyond saving Floyd but I still really do think he is proud of the work he put into brozone despite hating the way it ended and would be so flattered that other are dissecting the meaning and depth behind his word choices and music composition. And I also think if the troll world had like Broadway JD would love musical theatre so much. Anyway this is my official take on why I see jd as a music/art/theater snob.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk
One: I love when people do the whole "thank for coming to my ted talk" it makes me laugh and I love to laugh.
Two: I think it would be so FUNNYYYYY. Even more so if John had absolutely ZERO clue about what was happening. There is SO much he could have done but like, naw, he's just gonna become a perpetual camper/survivalist and have virtually nothing to his name that HE knows of. Like, one of those famous rich hermits except he doesn't know he's famous or rich. I'm sorry, just way too funny.
I love the idea that JD puts so much thought and care and study/hardwork - along with his natural talent - into his music. Like, sure, it probably helps that he's naturally good at it but I think he really tries to do the best he can. And I think Brozone would be very limiting in certain areas. Like, yes, there is his whole blending of individual parts as a whole, harmonies, and group work. But Brozone is probably meant more for entertainment than much else. It's a performance. When he leaves and if he keeps writing, I think he'd expand in the things he does. Or whatever. I've got too many thoughts and feelings haha lol
OOOOHHHH I kinda like that thought. I don't know much about Lady Gaga or really listened to her music but I understand the perfectionism thing. I always used to say practice makes perfect (and more recently, practice makes progress) so I think I can understand the concept alright. I think it's so interesting people compare him to Velvet sometimes when honestly, they seem like polar opposites. Velvet doesn't want to work at all, she doesn't care for her craft, she doesn't want to practice, she has no talent or even tries to work up to having talent. JD on the other hand, worked too much, put everything into his craft and probably practiced too much. He's got the talent, sure, but he also WORKED for it too.
I think a part of him would be delighted because - HOW COOL - and a part of him would be like but... why??? I know people tend to see him as egotistical or whatever but I think he really loved what he did and he put a lot into it. Idk how much his family really cares about their music, especially anymore, but I think JD would still be proud of it and guess what? He should. It was popular and people liked it. He should be proud of what they accomplished, even if nearing the end things got out of control. it couldn't have always been that way.
Agreed. JD loves his family more than anything. I have a feeling he wouldn't have let 20 years pass if he knew they were alive. It's one of the lines in the movies (I found out you were still alive) that really hits me home for that. He was also the only one who came back soooo there is that too. And yeah! He literally straight up FORGOT about the Family Harmony until Floyd told him that was what was needed. And even after twenty years, he still whole heartedly believes in his brothers that they can do it (if we just practice a little) like that sweetie. Running on worry, adrenaline and lack of sleep, that dude just wants to save his brother.
AWWWW JD loving theatre would be so CUTE! Except I would love to see him both go to Broadway things and Children's plays. Like that would be funny! Here is this dude who goes to these serious broadway type shows but then he turns around and the next night he goes to some local kids Seussical or something.
I just love this so much haha
Okay also another thing...
Okay, I do think it would be funny if for those twenty years, what JD did for "work" was just sell the rights to songs he wrote on the road to other artists/trolls he came across. Like, as he is traveling and is writing different types of music, musicians be like dude this song is amazing and just my style and JD be like... I'll sell it/trade it for (insert whatever here). Like how funny? And then the radio is just flooded with songs that JD wrote, many of which people have NO idea he wrote.
Like could you imagine a song comes on the radio and Floyd being all like "I love this song!!"
And JD like oh yeah, I traded that song for a machete and two chickens. Awesome deal, I love my machete. Comes in handy.
Like could you imagine? I don't know why but I find the concept SO FUNNY
